It's More Than Time To Raise Natural Disaster Preparedness In The Philippines

What Filipinos can learn from progressive nations near them like Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore and China is that they're prepared for natural disasters. The Philippines is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire which means that it's prone to earthquakes (therefore which could lead to tsunamis) and volcanic eruptions. Doesn't that mean it's time to instill the spirit of disaster preparedness? It's something that's rare in the Philippines. It just reminds me of how Pilosopong Tasyo was upset that people chose to spend their money on fiestas rather than buying lightning rods. I remembered a lot of natural disasters that happened during the 90s or a few years ago. Who could remember how Pinatubo and Mayon erupted? If you're a 90s child like me then I guess some of you may have remembering Typhoon Ruping. Would have the people near those disaster prone areas been ready to vacate with the early signs of a volcanic eruption or before an incoming typhoon

It's More Than Time To Blast Non-Inquirer, ABiaS-CBN, Crappler And All Pro-Oligarch Media For Their Biased News Coverage

Do you remember the time when when President Rodrigo R. Duterte made the mistake of comparing himself to Adolf Hitler? As much as I think he shouldn't have done it (and he later apologized for doing it) but there was the problem of biased media coverage. If those biased media think that they're fighting for democracy then they're dead wrong. While there is the right to the freedom of speech and freedom of expression but misusing and abusing them are like playing with fire and electricity. That's why it's more than time to blast the pro-oligarch media for showing only half-truths and sensationalizing events.  Let me ask is this even a headline or just sensationalism? They could have put "Duterte Compares Himself to Hitler" instead of "Heil Digong?" in relation to President Duterte's mistake of comparing himself to Hitler. I'm even thinking that the newspaper company should be charged with treason. I used to read Rappler or s

It's Good For Filipinos That They Don't Have Any Fabricated Movie/s Based On The Three Drug Mules

Since today is "Three Drug Mules Day", I thought of what if a movie based on any of the three drug mules, one movie for each drug mule or a movie based on the three drug mules. Ramon Credo and Sally Ordinario Villanueva were executed in Xiamen while Elizabeth Batain was executed in Shenzhen. Now I'd like to imagine what if a movie or movies based on them were made. I could think about the possible title of the movies would be The Ramon Credo Story , The Sally Ordinario Villanueva Story , The Elizabeth Batain Story , Two Filipinos Unjustly Executed in Xiamen  or Innocent Pinay Executed in Shenzhen for a few possible titles. I think that maybe Joel Lamangan and Viva Films will probably direct any of these B.S. films that will fabricate the truth like the Flor Contemplacion story. It would be full of lies as if the makers of the film knew what happened in Xiamen and Shenzhen when they were arrested and sentenced to be executed. The beginning of the films may contain cli

Migraine International Could Be Secretly Working For Big Time Drug Syndicates

Happy Three Drug Mules' Day anyone? Today is the day when we "honor" the three drug mules who were "wrongfully" executed in Tsina namely  Sally Ordinario Villanueva, Ramon Credo and Elizabeth Batain  as "heroes" of the Philippines. Such an attitude of making heroes out of non-heroes is very common in the Philippines. This is just a speculation but what if it's true? What if Migraine International is actually secretly working and paid for by big time drug syndicates to do what they do? Why do I even think like that it's because they so keen to defending Filipino drug mules on execution. I don't know whether or not their tears are fake when they protest but the fact they only protest at the last minute might suggest they're paid to protest or they're just procrastinators.  I could give a speculative scenario on what could be happening between Migraine International and big time drug syndicates. You have drug dealers from T

The Philippines Shouldn't Put All Its Eggs In Just One Or Just A Few Baskets

Ever heard of the expression that you don't put your eggs in all just one basket? The idiom itself means that you rely too much on one thing instead of seeking diversification. I guess it's a problem that the Philippines has right now. Although I'm not an economist but it's not hard to see how putting all your eggs in just one basket or just a few baskets when there are a lot of eggs can be risky. If you only had one basket for everything rather than have one basket for keeping supplies of balut and the others for selling then you're bound to lose everything in one shot. If the balut vendor's basket is the only basket for putting all that delicious balut then it's risky. Let's assume that the balut vendor loses his or her basket to any unfortunate event and that was the only basket for all the balut. Would have it been safer if he or she had several baskets for all that balut? The more balut you have the more baskets you need to store them and the more

Lugaw Committee Head Leni Robredo Can Still Be Unseated Even If She's The Real Vice President

Let's just assume that Leni Robredo is the real vice president. I'm already it finding hard to listen to her because she's got that  mukhang walang kasing kapal . The PNP is right to say "Where's the proof the operation palit ulo?" to the Lugaw Queen. Here's the reality that she must face. Just because she's the recognized vice president (IF EVER) doesn't mean that she can't be unseated. What charges can unseat Leni right now? She's already abusing her rights to free speech. Just because democracy gives one the right to free speech doesn't mean it should be misused and abused. Too much of anything you need can kill you. You want a hot meal but you definitely don't want to eat your meal when it's blazing hot. You want to drink clean water but too much of it can suffocate you. Philippine democracy is another example of misused democracy . There's a fine line between free speech and and sedition. Free speech was given so peo

How Migraine International Isn't Helping The Philippines

"Happy" Flor Contemplacion Day anyone? I don't know if some Filipinos right now are still celebrating the event with plays, rallies, watching the B.S. film called the Flor Contemplacion Story or whatever methods they have to keep mourning for a person who's been dead for 22 years now or insisting her innocence when she's really guilty. Migraine International decided to make a "saint' out of Flor and has invoked her name more than once in many instances. They even have their #NoToAnotherFlorContemplacion campaign every time an Overseas Filipino Worker is about to meet the chopping board for crimes committed.

For The Love Of Endorsing Dead Politician's Widows As Candidates

Just listening to Leni Gerona-Robredo right now is quite a chore. While #NagaLeaks ' credibility is still under question but what's more important is Leni's lack of credibility. EDSA Anniversary may be over but let's think about how the Widow Card really brought problems to the Philippines. This is not in any way seeking to absolve blame of the late Ferdnand E. Marcos Sr. but an attempt to see it beyond the retarded wards of Marcostards vs. Aquinotards. Just because the late Marcos Sr. is no hero doesn't mean that the Aquinos are heroes. Right now, I'm even having doubts over one man I used to admire so much and served as an inspiration for this blog namely the late Ninoy Aquino .

Internet TV Is A Threat To The Philippine Oligarchy

Although I'm NOT an Information Technology expert but I could at least share my views on what could be going on with the Philippine Internet companies. It's been some time since I posted about Internet that only certain privileged could get. It's no secret that the Philippines has the slowest Internet in the ASEAN . Granted, the Philippines is an archipelago then how in the world can TWO Internet Service Providers give efficient service to a nation of 7,107 islands ?

Eye Candy Won't Make Telebasuras Taste Any Better

Ever tried eating something that looks so delicious but it turns out to taste like trash? Ever bought something fancy but it turned out to be horrible in terms of quality? Ever went to an expensive restaurant but the price wasn't worth it because the food tasted awful or nothing special about it? I would like to use that analogy to describe telebasuras and their use of eye candy. I could talk about how telebasuras whether's it from ABiaS-CBN or GMA-7 use eye candy a lot in their shows. Palyang Robin Hood (which is really a bootleg quality version of Arrow) places eye candy placements presumably for ratings. ABiaS-CBN has Shaina Magdayao is currently starring in "The Better Half" and I admit I find her attractive. There have been other gimmicks like hot men for the female audience. But eye candy never changes the fact that garbage is STILL garbage. What's the difference between the eye candy in telebasuras vs. the eye candy in good shows? It's nothing to

How Leila Dilemma And Jim Paredes Lost Their Supporters

Is it me or is it amazing how Leila Dilemm a and Jim Paredes lost their support from their own camp? I was too angry with the old man and my blood pressure shot up yet again that I didn't want to update on him. What ended up coming was that some fans of Paredes started to berate him for his extreme misbehavior. If and if ever he was planning to have a concert then fans have every right to demand a refund. Two, they could go there to boo him for his misconduct.

Philippine TV Networks And Their Problem Of "Halos Lagi Nag-Rerun Ng Mga Foreign Na Palabas Pinanood Mo Noong Bata Ka Pa"

It's already 2017 and one has to be amazed with how ABiaS-CBN and GMA-7 love to do endless reruns of shows that 90s or last decade children grew up with. You hardly get anything new and to get back their TV ratings, they usually resolve to one gimmick called, "Halos lagi nag-rerun ng mga foreign na palabas pinanood mo noong bata ka pa." or "They're almost always rerunning foreign shows that you watched as a child." So I could talk about some shows that I grew up with in the 90s. Not all of them had a re-air but I could talk about some shows that tend to be re-aired. ABiaS-CBN re-aired Princess Sarah and Meteor Garden instead of looking for something else to air. GMA-7 keeps re-airing Yu Yu Hakusho, Voltes V, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. That's just among a few shows I'd like to mention.

Political Victory Thanks To Hocus PCOS

Here's a video I found about voting machines. This is a situation from a first world country like United States. Considering that the Philippines has been America's lapdog for years  in what's best called a parasitic relationship (since it's seeking to rely too much on America rather than develop its defenses against potential invaders like China) then it's highly possible that the whole electronic voting process was also copied from the United States.

MUST WATCH: How To Succeed With Your Business By Lugaw Queen, Leni Robredo

Do you want to be successful in business? Watch this video and find out how you can franchise Lugaw Ni Leni and be part of the family. In this interview, Noli De Castro shows why indeed Leni Robredo shouldn't be unseated as VP because of this wonder could save the Philippine economy. Tell me what you think about Lugaw Ni Leni. Will you franchise this wonderful porridge? Do you think she's capable of improving the Philippine economy based on this video? Tell me what you think! Please watch the whole video first before you comment okay?

Lugaw Committee Head Leni Robredo's Loss Of Credibility Is AMAZING

It's time to think of how Lugaw Committee Head Leni Robredo is losing credibility. What's going on? Why is she declaring war on Internet trolls as if Aquinotrolls don't exist? That reminds me that  Energy Secretary and miracle worker Antonio Trollanes may have spilled the beans  about how the Yellow Army works. At first, I didn't want to believe that she cheated to become Vice President. I was willing to support her anyway. I believed that the late Jesse M. Robredo was a good man as DILG Secretary but #NagaLeaks may suggest otherwise. It turned out that some evidence is starting to point out that Leni's just faking her humility and that she's not the real vice president. Why is she so afraid of a manual recount? Why is she having her Piso For Leni campaign which ended up failing? Honestly, my admiration for her failed learning that she's got that  mukhang walang kasing kapal . I wanted to support her but all she did is showed how she's got a thick fac

How Former APO Hiking Society Member Jim Paredes Is Ruining Himself With His Stupidity And Arrogance

"Laos ka na Jim!" are words that I feel like saying to this crazy old man of 65 years. As much as I grew up close to my maternal grandparents and my paternal grandmother (all three are dead and I still miss them) but I have lost my respect for Jim Paredes in spite of his old age. Maybe it's time to rename him as Jim Parada as he parades his incredible stupidity around Filipinos. I don't care if you graduated in Ateneo de Manila (a very hard school to enter to) or you're a lawyer but you're stupid the moment you throw away your common sense. Stupidity is something that's prevalent in society and the Filipino society is definitely no exemption to the rule .

The "Bayaran Ka Ni (Insert Name)" Accusation

After reading the article which calls Vice President Leni Robredo a hypocrite , here's something that caught my head and this could be very true: If bloggers criticize you, accuse them of being paid trolls, but retain a well-funded socmed team that does nothing but post flattering comments about you on news sites using multiple fake accounts, and order them to attack your critics.

Are Some Filipinos Using Biased Media Presentations Instead Of Documentaries As Their "Evidence"?

Last March 17, 2015 was the 30th death anniversary of Flor Contemplacion . I'm just thankful that the theaters didn't re-screen that (insert curse word) film to commemorate that event. I don't know how I'd react if I had to walk around and see the B.S. called the Flor Contemplacion Story would be re-screened to remember someone who's not a heroine. Why do some Filipinos continue to insist that the late Flor is innocent? I guess it's because they would rather believe the biased media over actual documentary. I wonder do they do enough research on Singapore before they jump into conclusions? I don't think so. It's probable that when they saw the film all they did was clap to Nora Aunor's performance as Flor, they clapped at the magnificent performance, they praised the twins who starred as themselves in the movie and they ignored every evidence that proved them wrong. For them, the film about Flor was all that mattered. Nothing else mattered but th

It's Best Not To Immediately Believe #NagaLeaks Without Properly Investigating The Allegations Against The Late Jesse Robredo

Right now there's the new phenomenon called #NagaLeaks which suggests that maybe, just maybe that the late Jesse Robredo himself may not be a hero or worthy of the Magsaysay Awards as we thought he was. So what's up with #NagaLeaks? It's best to take this information with a grain of salt for this reason. There's a possibility that some Duterte supporters or enemies of the Robredos just want to cause some trouble. Sure I want VP Leni to be unseated but there's a legal process. VP Leni must be proven to have been installed by Hocus PCOS before Senator Bongbong Marcos can be legitimately placed as vice president. What do I think about #NagaLeaks? It's best to analyze the authenticity of the claim to avoid becoming as dirty as the Aquinotards. It's best to think whether or not the late Jesse himself was just a tool by Liberal Party or did he really have any battle against drugs and jueteng or did he just monopolize it towards his alleged friends the Mercados?

Are The Six Knocked Out Liberal Party Senators For Democracy Or Aquinocracy?

Here's another picture made by Noytards who said that "RIP Democracy". But I don't think they're fighting for democracy but Aquinocracy . During the six years of Noynoy Aquino the whole Philippines was under the PNoy First Policy  and Aquino First Policy . I would believe that those Noytards or Aquinotards think that democracy is only possible by the rule of the Liberal or Lugaw Party and every other party is a dictatorship.

"Pero Nangyari Naman Yun Sa Ibang Bansa" Is A Poor Excuse To Enjoy One's Blunder

Do you ever feel frustrated whenever you're a Filipino who talks against what happens and your fellow Filipino just tells you, "Pero nangyari naman yun sa ibang bansa!"? That kind of incident should be frustrating for any Filipino seeking improvement. So what's with the whole argument that says in English, "But it also happens in other countries!" as an excuse? The statement alone is problematic because it relies on the bandwagon mentality . Saying "pero nangyari naman yun sa ibang bansa" has always been a typical excuse to enjoy one's blunder. I remembered a lot of incidents like the time of the Manila Hostage Crisis  or let's just say ANY criminal incident that happens in the Philippines. It's time to tell them that the issue isn't whether or not something that happens in the Philippines also happens in other countries but what Philippine authorities do.

VP Leni Robredo Should Realize That Economic Protectionism Can't Beat Poverty And Joblessness

Make no mistake. I do agree with Vice President Leni Robredo's statement that joblessness and poverty are indeed the "bigger war" . The war on drugs is a result of joblessness and poverty. But here's one problem. The Liberal Party's loyalty is more to one's party than to the country. Let me ask is your symbol a yellow ribbon or the Filipino flag? If you answered yellow ribbon then why don't you form your own separate state for PNoys?

The Presidential System Gives No Other Alternatives In Case Something Happens To The Head Of Government

Noynoy Aquino may no longer be president now but I can't get over the severe mistype that made it look like he got beheaded in Saudi Arabia. While it was just a mistype but I'd like to assume what if it wasn't. Let's assume that Noynoy went to Saudi, committed murder, was tried and eventually got beheaded for the act of murder. This leaves us with only one alternative. The "late" Noynoy after his headless corpse is returned, as soon as his body gets buried at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani  in accordance to the law. It would mean that his death would have no choice but to give the presidency to none other than Vice President Jejomar Binay. Then maybe, we'll have a presidential campaign that will use the "late" Noynoy as their campaign to get either Bum or Kris to be their next presidential candidate. The situation of Joseph "Erap" Estrada and Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is one example of the defect of the presidential system. Do you remem

Economic Liberalization Plays A Huge Role In The War Against Drugs

Happy first of March everyone! March has become National Victim Card month hasn't it? If EDSA has to be put to rest for good then so should National Victim Card month. When March comes to mind I can think of Flor Contemplacion as well as the three drug mules . It's not enough to have strict law enforcement and arresting drug dealers and the quest to rehabilitate addicts. It's time to think of another reason why first world countries with strict anti-drug laws have a low drug rate. It's all about  ECONOMIC LIBERALIZATION .
