Just For Fun: How Buntis Faib Legacy May Have Muddled General Oslak's Horns

Voltes V Legacy may have created more problems than it intended to have. Not only did General Oslak (Bergan in Japan) look like Combatron in his armor but his extra scenes never felt to add anything. Try to notice that the supposed horns of Oslak NEVER match the horns when he's wearing the Maxigal Armor. His horns looked like that of a buffalo but what happened to his horns? Is his helmet that flexible that it deformed his horns? I assume that if Oslak ever had horns then he must've lost them pursuing the rebels. Amputation became the only way to save his life. I guess the helmet might be hiding Oslak's hideous scar. Meanwhile, the Anime doesn't seem to state that Bergan himself was either born without horns, lost his horns, or he's probably got strange-looking horns (reference above) that would look really funny if he removed his helmet. It doesn't explain either how he fits the armor with the V-insignia if ever he had V-shaped horns like an antelope. It'

Remembering The Late Willie Nepomuceno: Why His Impersonation Of Erap In "ISPUP" Inadvertently Showed The Perils Of Presidentialism

If you were born in the 1980s, maybe some of you remembered ISPUP on ABC-5 before it became TV-5. The show made fun of certain issues such as how Jon Santos became Kris Aquino and Mike Nacua became Joey Marquez. The show aired in 1998 when Joseph Estrada was the president of the Philippines. Willie Nepomuceno (who died a day ago) did several impersonations including the late Noynoy Aquino and former president Rodrigo R. Duterte. Neither his impersonations of Noynoy or Duterte could make me chuckle as hard as Erap. A lot of jokes about Erap spring from the fact, "HOW CAN A NINCOMPOOP BECOME A PRESIDENT IN THE FIRST PLACE?" It was also there where Santos impersonated Erap's wife Loi Ejercito. There were several comedic stuff related to Erap when he was president. One of the joke segments was English para sa mahirap. It was intentionally English taught wrong. There were even exaggerated segments where Erap wrote the answers on an exam on a pair of briefs. It's because th

Real Talk: Social Media Outrage Will NEVER Hold Panggulong Bobong Marcos Accountable On His Speech Only Nothing Achieved Compared To Weekly Questioning

It's already the second year since Panggulong Bobong Marcos proved one thing - PRESIDENTIALISM SUCKS! It's indeed the irony that Kakampinks against constitutional reform must face - they're so against charter change to parliamentary while admiring lead figures like the late Lee Kuan Yew and Mahathir Mohamad. I keep telling them, "Kaya't dapat na tayo mag parliamentary!" Their usual response is that the Empire of Marcos was a "parliamentary system" . The "empirical evidence" was the existence of Cesar Virata who Lee Kuan Yew called a NON-STARTER AND NO LEADER. The late Ninoy Aquino even RIGHTFULLY narrated how the Philippines' charter change went from America to Britain to France. Even worse, their "best bet" is that they hope to achieve something through their virtue signals aka SOCIAL MEDIA OUTRAGE. The likes of Illogical Kinko, Gerry Cacanindin, Jover Laurio, etc. have only done more social media outrage than give proper sol

Reality Check: It'll Be NEAR IMPOSSIBLE To Scrutinize Panggulong Bobong Marcos' Mahal-Lika Fund Under The 1987 Constipation Of The Failippines

It's time to write another Bobong Marcos post, right? It's really irritating how Get Real Philippines could bother to criticize the late Noynoy Aquino BUT praise the former Prince Imperial of the Empire of Marcos? Even worse, that D*MN IDIOT  Jason VOORHEES still insists that the Empire of Marcos was a parliamentary government . Who should people listen to anyway between Jason VOORHEES or the late Lee Kuan Yew who knew how a real parliamentary government is run? I would like to tell those Kakampink thought leaders like Jover Laurio that the current constitution made it possible for Bobong to become the recent panggulo ng Pilipinas .  Now, we've got Pinklawans who are unfortunately still shooting themselves in the foot. Do I need to repeat a MILLION TIMES OVER that the real problem is the 1987 Constitution has been no better than the 1987 Constitution of the Empire of Marcos? Sure, the former crown prince isn't going to sit down forever. Even earlier this 2023 that Bobon

How I Think Buntis Faib Legacy's Pacing Is HURTING NOT HELPING The Ongoing Steve/Mark/Jamie Love Triangle

I didn't think I'd make it this far watching Buntis Faib Legacy. If one thing is killing the show - it's the ridiculously slow pacing! One recent episode this week (and it's a weeknight schedule) is how Mark takes Jamie out. The scene feels very similar to how Gai asks Kaori out in Chojin Sentai Jetman . Gai tells Kaori that he will make her fall for him. It was done in the earlier episodes. Gai starts falling for Kaori during the introduction arc. We later see Jamie still turn down Mark because she's too in love with Steve. Steve seems more than ready to let Mark have Jamie for the sake of the team.  If one saw Jetman before watching this show - one can see the root of the problem. It's been the ridiculously slow pacing. That's the problem with the weeknight schedule - it encourages dragging the plot to ridiculous lengths. It's not like how Jetman was a weekly program. It meant that Toshiki Inoue had to find the right pacing to get the plot going. Meanw
