Making It Fun in the Philippines

  Today is what might be called by Migraine International as "Flor Contemplacion Day". The 30th anniversary hit last year. However, I decided to make a bit of a comedy post today for this reason. It's already more than THREE DECADES since Flor was hanged in Singapore. However, Migraine International still insists that Flor was a martyr for the Philippines . Migraine can deny it all they want, but their adherence to the late Joma Sison's IDIOTOLOGY has red-tagged them . These people are still living in what I call the VIETNAM WAR MINDSET.  Back in 1995, Flor's death sparked the creation of The Flor Contemplacion Story   starring the late Nora Aunor. The movie came out on June 7, 1995. The movie was later uploaded by VIVA Films on their YouTube channel, while a pay-per-view version is available on YouTube Movies. I would like to imagine what if The Flor Contemplacion Story had a musical. I imagined it would've happened last year (30 years anniversary), but none....

March tends to be associated with " Flor Contemplacion Day " followed by the commemoration of the " Three Drug Mules in China ". Granted, yesterday was Flor Contemplacion Day, her death anniversary was commemorated on its 20th year last 2015, and its  silver anniversary hit during the height of the pandemic . The silver anniversary of the death of "Saint" Flor Contemplacion was hindered by COVID-19 ECQ measures two years ago.   I was thinking about writing this post for Singapore Day. However, Singapore tends to be associated with the BOO F***ING HOO sentiments regarding the late Flor Contemplacion . It was something that  the silver anniversary of Flor's execution hit during COVID-19 ECQ . It was the birthday of the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines a few days ago. It had me thinking how it's stressful to deal with people who still think that constitutional reform is just an excuse to stay in power forever. The huge misunderstanding is this - what is the system TRULY about ? I'm afraid but people who read Pignoy Ako Blog think that the system is just all about who's in charge. The system is more than just WHO IS IN CHARGE. The system is all about the RULES AND REGULATIONS that govern those in power. The constitution in simple definition is the law of the land. I find it funny that most of the anti-Duterte pages and the leftist pages (and again, I'm not blasting them for being anti-Duterte but because all they know is to WHINE) even raise SINGAPORE.
