Where To? BBM Should NEVER Repeat His Father's Mistakes!

I was running out of posts to think about. Just then, I decided to visit Rigoberto Tiglao's blog and found a ridiculous article that President Bobong Marcos should learn from his father . As much as I enjoy reading Tiglao's blog such as how a battle of ego dug ABiaS-CBN in - Tiglao is sure CLUELESS AF about basic economics. Sure, I've criticized the late Noynoy Aquino for his shortcomings. I definitely refuse to take part in the Marcos vs. Aquino dichotomy. Maybe, I've made a certain stance in regards to Noynoy to have at least did some growth to the economy or prevented Joseph Estrada from becoming president. Now, it's time to think about Tiglao's rather stupid advice that Bobong should learn from his father. Like wut? Is it time to crown Bobong as the emperor of the Philippines and restore his late father, Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.'s, near-North Korean-style rule?  I could remember typing a lot of articles about the Marcos Years. Those articles were meant to

What's Next? Force Filipinos To Attend The Metro Manila Film Festival?!

It's November and December is SO NEAR, RIGHT? Well, I hope people will remain vigilant since disasters DO HAPPEN during the Christmas season. You can Google for it and find out some of the worst times happen DURING CHRISTMAS SEASON. With Christmas, another thing that Filipinos may associate with is the METRO MANILA FILM FESTIVAL (MMFF). This reminds me that I actually wrote an article called the NAKED TRUTH about the MMFF . The MMFF is a celebration of MEDIOCRITY.  There was a proposal back during the Noynoy Administration to ban Filipinos from bringing home imported media . Thankfully, the late Noynoy Aquino didn't sign such a stupid law! Noynoy was also partly responsible for the ABiaS-CBN franchise issue. ABiaS-CBN could've had its franchise before the Duterte Administration but didn't. The whole issue also made me think if lawmakers such as Rep. Carlos "Heneral Lunatic" Zarate of Bayad Muna, Antonio Tinio of the Alliance of Complaining Teachers, and Rep. S

Exploitation Films Are More Fun In the Philippines

Today is the birth anniversary of the late Carlos Celdran. I actually feel like the Get Real Philippines website has maligned him. True, it was wrong for Celdran to wish former president Rodrigo R. Duterte dead. Celdran later died in his sleep. However, I can't forget that Celdran is like the other Yellows worth respecting. I still couldn't get over how Celdran appeared in the private screening of Give Up Tomorrow where he called it a trial by publicity. Teddy Boy Locsin who once sensationalized the case may have made a u-turn. This also came to my mind when the rains reminded me of one incident - the disappearance of the Chiong Sisters. I don't believe that both Jacqueline and Marijoy are still alive. I believe that they're rightfully called late. Footage of Locsin's sensationalized report was also featured in the documentary Give Up tomorrow . I hope Locsin has learned his lesson. Leo Lastimoso, another ABiaS-CBN reporter, was also featured, as well as Winnie Coll

Why I Felt Releasing "Jacqueline Comes Home" To Counter "Give Up Tomorrow" Was One Dumb Move

A series of storms that hit the Philippines last year and this year made me want to write this VERY SENSITIVE TOPIC. It took me months to think about it. Now with the film fest nearing - I think this is a post I wanted to write against the Philippine mass media. I could remember how I began my series of posts regarding the Chiong Sisters case . It was in 1997 when it happened. I was in high school when the trial went on. It was a scary thought (really) that two sisters were gone missing, and one of them was found dead (and I believe the body is Marijoy Chiong and the body was later cremated years later). First, there was the Vizconde Massacre which launched national outrage. Then, there was this case. You can tell the brutality of the crime. Yet, it turns out that many of those who were tagged as suspects were INNOCENT. Yes, Hubert Webb and Juan Francisco "Paco" G. Larranaga were INNOCENT of the crime. Paco was in Manila when the crime happened. Hubert was in the USA when the
