Not Giving Way To Emergency Vehicles - #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines

The recent viral incident of an ABiaS-CBN news vehicle that refused to give way to an emergency vehicle  brings another evergreen problem to mind. I remembered long ago that I wrote that many Filipinos just don't have the right to drive . One of the reasons why their privileges should be removed (that is, their driver's license) is because of their bad habit that they just DON'T BOTHER give way to emergency vehicles. Yes, it's a very common observation even before that caught on camera incident with ABiaS-CBN. The incident with ABiaS-CBN is but a microcosm of a common, ongoing problem with a LOT of Filipino drivers. Hopefully, ABiaS-CBN will FIRE that crew regardless. I remembered when I wrote about traffic guidelines during the term of former president Noynoy Aquino. How can a lot of Filipinos expect traffic problems to be solved if they themselves don't want to follow simple guidelines? They can't even follow basic red light, yellow light, and green light. Th...

Which Is More Important: ABiaS-CBN News Scoops OR Emergency Response Vehicles?

An update from Get Real Pundit (GR Pundit) has revealed a new incident that may go viral soon. A recent video of an ABiaS-CBN vehicle refusing to GIVE WAY to an emergency vehicle was caught on camera . This really makes me wonder are the ABiaS-CBN news scoops more life-saving than the EMERGENCY RESPONSE VEHICLE ? Yes, I'm capitalizing it that big because lives are at stake yet that ABiaS-CBN vehicle is REFUSING to give way and for what? Is the news scoop going to save whoever is in need of that emergency response vehicle? Lives are in danger and it's SIMPLE GUIDELINES that if there's an emergency response vehicle - PLEASE DO GIVE WAY. I don't have to be a journalist to know that what ABiaS-CBN's vehicle did was totally unethical. Does ABiaS-CBN think itself above the law that caused it to LOSE its government franchise?  This made me think again about the incidents that happened since COVID-19 struck. Recently, a rant from Rapplerite Paige Occenola really makes you ...

Why Many Filipinos May Be The Biggest Contributor To Christmas Traffic Woes

One of the biggest reasons why Christmas isn't really more fun in the Philippines is because of heavy, intense traffic during the season. I always find it crazy that some people would blame the president. Noynoy Aquino had some rather invalid blame for the traffic during his term. Now, President Rodrigo R. Duterte gets some blame too and some Yellowtards feel like they only experienced it "just now". Well, I'd like to really throw in some harsh reality on the faces of Filipinos this holiday season. It's just now I realized that many Filipinos may be the biggest contributor to Christmas traffic woes. Let's consider the bad habit of procrastination for the entire year. Is it me or is procrastination already been long ingrained into Filipino culture when it shouldn't? Worse, you may be having Filipinos who are very proud of their tardiness. I could always link procrastination to traffic woes. It may sound stupid but it isn't. Do you notice that some...

Joseph Emilio Pabaya Is Proven Wrong For The Nth Time As Patients Die In Manila Traffic Jam

It's really stupid to blame President Duterte for the traffic (or any president for that matter). If anyone can be blamed for the intense traffic in Metro Manila -- you can blame it on former DOTC Secretary Joseph Emilio Pabaya  who said that traffic is not fatal . Also, you have Agot Isidro who is delusional to think that she only felt the traffic during President Duterte's term . Recently, a new article that surfaced from ABiaS-CBN has revealed the fatal outcome of intense traffic in Manila . That heavy traffic was not only a problem during President Duterte's term, not only during Noynoy's term but also a very common problem that tends to get NEGLECTED over and over again. Not to mention, it's the SYSTEM once more that's the problem! Why can't people get it that it's the SYSTEM that's the bigger problem than the people managing the system? Here's what the same article from ABiaS-CBN reveals and it's going to pinpoint a LOT OF PROBLEM...

Prime Minister Noynoy Aquino Could've Accomplished The Expressway Under A Parliamentary system

I remembered writing about the problem of the presidential system and its ridiculous term limits. Some people may want to shift the presidency from four years to four years but I don't think eight years is enough to allow any major change. The problem of the presidential system would leave a lot of hanging projects by the time the term is over. Former president Noynoy Aquino may have secured several projects during his term but couldn't finish them before his term ends. What's the real problem with #SAGASA2016 ? One can imagine the extreme difficulty of the project of making that expressway from Baclaran to Bacoor. Another is that it's not easy to get materials and implement said project. Noynoy should have known better than to make the promise that said expressway would be completed by the end of 2015 because of how unrealistic said deadline is. Six years is definitely not enough for anyone (and not just Noynoy) to really make a major change. But what if we wer...

Many Filipinos Just Don't Have The Right To Drive, Right?

I remembered some time ago when I wrote a blog entry concerning following simple guidelines . One of the success stories of other countries is not only because they advocate free trade or economic liberalization -- it's also because people know how to follow simple guidelines. Unfortunately, some people think that "It's more fun in the Philippines" because of having a dysfunctional sense of freedom  or a culture of impunity. One of these many areas is driving on the road especially on workdays, Christmas season or when it's the October 31 jam today -- that time when many return home to the province to pay respect to their deceased relatives.  I think about how driving on the road in the Philippines without running into stupid drivers is a real challenge. Now some idiots whine about the increasing prices of gasoline but here's what -- they don't have the right to complain because many of them have no right to drive. I think about heavy traffic for this...

So What If We Have No Hundreds Of Years Of Experience In Jeepney Modernization?

It's been a jeepney strike yesterday and I don't know how to react. Driving without much of those arrogant jeepney drivers is really a good thing. I can't count the number of times I was nearly hit by one. Yesterday, a strike happened because they are opposing President Duterte's plan to modernize the jeepneys because it won't come cheap. Plus, their other excuses may go from the usual argument of it's going to cost more (and if it's new, just expect it) or some may go and say, "But we've had hundreds of years experience with jeepneys and none with jeepney modernization." Take note that when I'm saying "hundreds of years" as a hyperbole.  The typical argument against any change may also include the hundreds of years experience  in one area and zero in another. I remembered running into an argument with some old fossil who said that unitary is better than federal because, "We've got a hundred years experience and ze...

Don't Wait Until Manila Enters The List Of History's Longest Traffics, Shift To Federalism Now

As the Constitutional Assembly for Federalism begins, it's time to consider the flaws of one of the world's biggest economies namely China. Although Deng Xiaoping should be credited for making China a world power through free trade but he failed to see the benefits of federalism over a unitary form of government. The Philippines can learn from China the principles of economic liberalization and their basic business principles but it should reject the unitary form of government. If the Philippines has Imperial Manila then China has Imperial Beijing. China could have avoided lesser problems with traffic in Beijing if their government shifted to a federal form of government considering it's the largest population in the world. Forbes  mentions that China entered the worst traffic jam in history last August 2010. Here's what it says that should show the big problem of unitary form of government in a big country: Beijing, China: August 2010. Imagine being trapped i...

Pwede Na Yan Mentality Led To #SAGASA2016

Today in history is the failed #Sagasa2016  event. I guess many people wanted to see both Noynoy Aquino and Joseph Pabaya get ran over by a train, right? As the year ends, I decided to write this post before it's 12:00 Midnight or January 1st at 12:00 A.M. So how did the whole problem start? Three words "Pwede Na Yan" or "that will do" in English. You could consider how neglect on the part of Pabaya gives him the best renaming of all. While his real name is Joseph Emilio A. Abaya but he got called as Pabaya for his lousy performance. Noynoy's refusal to dismiss Pabaya for his lousy performance would have also contributed to the deterioration. Is it possible that Noynoy thought that as long as there's still an operational train and people can still breathe instead the crammed MRT then pwede na yan? If he thinks that those two will do then he's already sadly mistaken. When you refuse to do maintenance check then you can expect performance to deter...

Presidential Train VS. Parliamentary Train

Do you remember the time when Noynoy Aquino and Joseph Pabaya both made the promise that if the expressway from Baclaran to Bacoor were not completed that both would allow themselves to be run over by a train ? It was so last 2016 and now it's already going 2018. In short, two years ever since the broken promise to help put an end to what Noynoy called as the "panay pampapoging serbisyo" which may mean as show business type of service. Unfortunately, Noynoy's administration was set on one thing: SHOW BUSINESS POLITICS. Now how would a parliamentary government have done things better? Here's a diagram to help explain things: Okay, let's consider if Prime Minister Noynoy and Minister of Transportation Pabaya were both scrutinized by a shadow cabinet of the opposition or minority bloc. You could consider how Pabaya as the minister of transportation would have to compete with the shadow minister of transportation. The other would involve Noynoy having to ans...

Kung Hei Fat Choi: A Lot Of Frustrated People May Want To See Noynoy Aquino And Joseph Pabaya Get Run By A Train Over Tonight!

Do you remember the cancelled, national would have been blockbuster known as Sagasa 2016 ? They promised that if the expressway from Baclaran to Bacoor were not done by 2015 then both Noynoy Aquino and Joseph Emilio A. Pabaya said they'd get run over by a train. Well it's an obvious hyperbole  but one must realize the problems faced with the MRT. I bet many people wish that it really were a literal statement.  One must realize how terrible the Metro Railway Transit was during the watch of Pabaya himself. Although his real surname is Abaya but you can't help but call him Pabaya due to his willful negligence. The MRT deterioration caused heavy traffic in Manila yet Pabaya has the nerve to say that traffic isn't fatal . As I said, I dare Pabaya to get injured and to get stuck in traffic and let's see if he doesn't die as a result. The MRT deterioration is making the life of the hard working Filipino even harder while giving habitually tardy Pinoys a justi...

Many Filipinos May Not Really Understand Obvious Hyperboles

Do you remember the time when  Noynoy Aquino said that he and Joseph Pabaya would allow themselves to be run over by a train  or the time when  President Rodrigo Duterte said he'd ride a jetski to China ? I guess this is a problem right now between Dutertards (who put honest-to-goodness Duterte supporters to shame) and Noytards or any "-tards" have. It's the problem that they can't understand hyperbolic statements or hyperbole. A hyperbole is an exaggerated statement that's not meant to be taken literally. Sad to say but many people tend to miss the point that it was just an exaggeration. I guess it's all part of being emotional isn't it?

Let's Face It That Agot Isidro Is Delusional

It's really disappointing to think how people can be so willfully stupid. With this comment she made, she's saying in English, "It's just now I've experienced traffic that bad. Is that the accomplishment that Duterte wants to boast about? He can't even fix simple traffic. He's prioritizing boasting and flaunting instead." I don't even know what reaction is so appropriate for such a stupid comment. Did Agot ride a helicopter during the heavy traffic under the Noynoy Aquino administration and the Duterte Administration won't let her ride a chopper anymore? Is she thinking that traffic under Aquino means progress while traffic under Duterte is not okay? No, heavy traffic is NEVER okay regardless who's president. But for the Noytards, Noynoy can definitely do no wrong and he's always right. Considering that she's also part of ABiaS-CBN and the whole Aquino network  then she's already starting to make people forget Noynoy's...

Don't Let The MRT Issue Slip: Punish All Those Who Caused It To Deteriorate!

Do you remember the canceled would have been national blockbuster called Sagasa 2016 ? Both Noynoy Aquino and Joseph Pabaya made that promise if the expressway from Baclaran to Bacoor wasn't completed by 2016 that they'd allow themselves be run over by a train. January 1, 2016 of the solar calendar came and they are still alive. Then we had them both still alive after January 1, 2016 and on February 7, 2016 which was January 1, 2016 according to the Chinese calendar. Did those two even put in their heads that they were in the Philippines and not in China? But neither New Year nor Chinese New Year offered Filipinos the opportunity to see both morons get run over paying for all the lives that have been lost no thanks to MRT disasters. I mean, enough is enough! How many broken promises have they made to Filipinos anyway to end the old system and bring in the new? The problem of the MRT deterioration has not only increased traffic to unbelievable levels but it's also put ...

Be Informed: Heavy Traffic Is Not A Sign Of Progress, It Can Be Disastrous!

It's time to start with some of them to address the two truths about traffic. One is that traffic is NOT a sign of progress. The other is to readdress Joseph Pabaya who should be put to jail for his crimes against the Filipino people.  Traffic is NOT a sign of progress It's amazing how some Filipinos bought in to the lie that heavy traffic is a sign of progress. With the current raid that PNP Chief Bato Dela Rosa and Chief Justice Vitaliano Aguirre Jr.  found several unsolved anomalies in the Bilibid Prison. So an estimate that 70% (or even higher) of shabu was produced in Bilibid came out. To those who keep saying, "Don't worry, traffic is a sign of progress." to their fellow Filipinos who are FED UP with traffic need to be questioned, "So you say that heavy traffic is a sign of progress? Tell me then did you spend all your time sniffing on Shabu from the Bilibid Prison?" Maybe they were sniffing on shabu but even without shabu a lot of Filipi...

Unmanaged Traffic Is KILLING The Economy Of The Philippines!

Looking at this meme made out of Joseph Abaya Pabaya, I simply want to facedesk on the comment because traffic problems can be disastrous .  Now based on Sun Star news , here's something this moron of a DOTC secretary has ignored.  Here's something that he needs to realize about traffic.  Traffic itself is costing PHP 3 billion pesos of economic loss and to say that traffic is a sign of progress is absolutely B.S. one way or another. Here's an excerpt that should be slammed to Pabaya's face several times because that guy is living in Lala-Land : A study in 2012 by the Japan International Cooperation Agency found that time lost by people stuck in traffic and the extra cost of operating vehicles in gridlock in metropolitan Manila and nearby areas amounted to P2.4 billion ($51 million) a day, Economic Planning Secretary Arsenio Balisacan said. With a bigger population today and more vehicles on the roads, and taking into consideration other costs including to the h...

The Problem Of Politicians And Their Show Business Road Projects!

Looking at this picture, I can feel that the rule of stupid is really taking its toll.  So really, more " daang matuwid " which by the way, to the fire? I would like to share this stupidity of actually destroying well-established roads and leaving certain roads damaged.   When I think about the portrayal on the left side, I can only say, "OH REALLY?!"  All these Liberal Party retards keep heckling me in the name of exposing how "stupid" I am but look who is talking.  So really, what's the point of destroying the better roads but leaving the Macapagal Avenue still under shambles? Oh wait, I guess it's all part of the " Sisihin si Gloria " program because the avenue was named after Diosdado Macapagal never mind that if that avenue won't be fixed, traffic will be worse. I mean, you are destroying a well-functioning road while not tending to a damaged road, that's really a cause for traffic. Oh don't give me the excuse...

Traffic Problems Can Be Disastrous!

Whenever I think of all the problems of the Aquino Administration such as the Metro Railway Transit problems or heavy traffic, I really feel like President Nobita Aquino isn't thinking it clearly and so is Joseph Abaya, better called Joseph Pabaya because he's not really coming up with a proper scheme or anything.  I would like to really address the stupidity of the meme above and if he really said it then  SHAME ON HIM! I previously wrote an article on the Manila traffic as an obstacle of improvement , I would like to address the issue of traffic problems can ultimately lead to disaster.  To say that "Hindi naman siguro fatal yan." or "It's probably not fatal." to traffic problems is stupid.  Then again, I wonder if this guy is even aware of the fact that traffic problems CANNOT be solved if people DO NOT follow guidelines in the first place .  People who don't follow guidelines are in fact one of the reasons why problems like getting run ove...

How Can Traffic Problems Be Solved If Basic Traffic Rules Aren't Even Followed In The First Place?!

I have observed that there's always the bad habit of breaking important guidelines , no wonder the Philippines is so messed up!  While reading the essay of that dumb Murican, I suddenly remembered the STUUUUUPIDITY he had when he said it way back that he will kill himself if he had to follow all those rules and he writes a load full of B.S. that.. he's got to wear shades because the future of the Philippines is " so bright ".  Sad to say but the breaking of traffic rules is also no thanks to the Failipino culture of impunity and disobedience. I always thought of driving can be a hassle especially when you are still new.  What irritated me was that I was just on my way, driving to the mall and I was having a hard time, I turned on the hazard light and some people who are in a hurry kept honking their horn at me rendering me nervous making me believe that I honked my horn.  I was already in hazard mode, at least be considerate the person is HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME! ...

Manila SHOULD Really Do Something About Its Traffic Problems For the Sake of Improvement!

The authorities in Metro Manila should realize that they have long neglected many problems. All that President Nobita says is that, "Well traffic is a sign of growing economy." That is B.S. as unmanaged traffic is NOT the sign of growing economy. All their " pwede na yan " is a culture that must be gotten rid of. While it was a good move to penalize Cebu Pacific for the problems last December but remember, Manila is also in much need of traffic solutions. You can read more in When in Manila . Here's the world's top ten worst traffic countries based on average: Here's the top ten. Now I would select Bangladesh is ranked #3 and Philippines is ranked #9. Kenya is also a very poor country. What must be realized is that traffic is not always a sign of a growing economy or maybe, never a sign of growing economy. Here's the reality, most of the countries above the Philippines have worse economies like Kenya and Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a country tha...
