I must admit that this is SHEER IDIOCY. Here's a photo taken from CNN Philippines . I must confess that the idiocy here is totally hideous. There's no problem of them forming a human chain IF they were a rather safe location. However, they decided to light candles in what should be a very dangerous place. That's namely a GASOLINE STATION in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City. It could be understood if they lit the candles IN A CHURCH or IN AN OPEN SPACE. But a gasoline station? My feelings are mixed with ANGER, FEAR, and LAUGHTER. Anger and fear is normal because they could've caused a great explosion. Laughter because these guys are really lacking common sense. Though, thankfully, no explosion happened yet since they weren't near the gasoline tanks.  I was thinking about the scientific absurdity behind this move. Some time ago, I remembered when I wrote a joke that the Kapamilya Channel will soon have a new teleserye . Dealing with Odette disasters is no easy task. Experiencing the aftershock of a storm such as Typhoon Ruping decades back is no easy feat. The storm hit both Visayas and Mindanao with intensity. Vice President Leni Loud G. Christmas is just around the corner especially it's nearly the end of November, right? I remembered the excitement associated with Christmas because of gifts and parties. Party time meant serving a lot of delicious food. Though, with my recent health-conscious self - I've started to be careful about party food. A lot of foods during the Christmas season (for those who celebrate it) are lechon, leche flan, and a lot of high cholesterol foods tend to be served. On occasion, these foods aren't bad. I tend to have lechon on occasion such as parties though I started avoiding pork as much as possible for health reasons. Pork is rather high in cholesterol and it's much more difficult to prepare than beef or chicken. Besides, there are some healthy alternatives such as turkey bacon, and chicken hotdogs. The Manila Paper It seems that Vice President Leni Loud Robredo herself has the tendency of NOT FOLLOWING SIMPLE GUIDELINES . What's the use of criticizing Bobong Marcos for his campaigns when Leni Loud doesn't seem to follow the guidelines anyway? She may be vaccinated for two shots (and perhaps scheduled for a booster shot any time soon) but there are VACCINATION GUIDELINES to follow. People who are fully vaccinated can still catch COVID-19 meaning that they may not get severe effects BUT they can affect the unvaccinated. Some vaccines were not to be administered to certain age groups (children and old people) due to the adverse effects that they have. It's like how Dengvaxia wasn't supposed to be administered to certain people . Here's something from the Philippine Daily Inquirer (which formerly had John Nery who was also a sponsor for the wedding of Jover Laurio). It reveals that a joyride for Vice President Leni Loud Robredo was conducted in Bicol. Assuming the figure of hundreds is accurate (or even thousands according to Rappler ) - it's really worth facedesking about. I don't care which figure is the real one (which might be like how Rappler said thousands walked out while CNN Philippines said hundres walked out) because it's an OBVIOUS CASE OF VIOLATING COVID-19 guidelines. I was thinking about how some pasaways on the Republic of Twitter are now acting like as if they know a lot. There's a proverb that says that an empty container makes the most noise. The Filipino version of the proverb says that an empty can produces much noise. These guys ramble on Twitter and talk like they know so much and even think that politics is a cakewalk. If they want to show their skills then why not go beyond Twitter or any social media platform? They should all decide to RUN FOR OFFICE whether it'd be a local position OR even a national position - if they think politics is THAT EASY (which it isn't). I'm just amazed at how other countries are doing their vaccine drives better. What about the Philippines? It seems politicking is already more prevalent. This time, I'm not going to side with either which DDS or Dilawan - both sides have FAILED miserably because of the presidential system. However, it seems that from the three vaccine-immune strains  (and one of the originators of the three mutated COVID-19 strains recently died) - the third variety is known as Trillanes-COVID-19 AKA the Oakwood Variant is mutating at a deadly rate.
