This was something I wish I had noticed. Instead, it slipped by me as I've been more into Korean stuff. Right now, I thought about viral actress Zhang Yingfei . I don't watch microdramas myself. Yingfei was starring in a microdrama called The Genius Heiress . Yes, the show's gone viral in the Philippines despite tensions with Emperor Xi Jinping. It's noteworty to even joke that Yingfei might be Alice Guo despite the blatant differences. Yingfei just turned 22 this year on June 13, 2026.  It's hard not to throw the comparisons between Yingfei and the now-convicted fraudster Alice Guo aka Guo Huaping.  GMA Entertainment The 22-year-old actress definitely has a slim build vs. Alice. Alice was rather chubby. Also, one may notice her face is actually narrower than Alice's. It just happens that she has some resemblances to Alice despite their age gap.   Today is what might be called by Migraine International as "Flor Contemplacion Day". The 30th anniversary hit last year. However, I decided to make a bit of a comedy post today for this reason. It's already more than THREE DECADES since Flor was hanged in Singapore. However, Migraine International still insists that Flor was a martyr for the Philippines . Migraine can deny it all they want, but their adherence to the late Joma Sison's IDIOTOLOGY has red-tagged them .   Atty. Leni Loud Robredo claimed that she works for 18 hours a day . I believe that Angat Buhay operates for 18 hours a day. But Leni Loud? It's questionable because anybody claiming to work for 18 hours (ore more) is either LYING OR STUPID . Literally working 18 hours a day could burn up the mind. It's no wonder Chinese schools have students getting FED UP with the Gaokao long reviews! Cong Caphe was said to open in mid-February but it's been delayed for some reason. It sounds crazy but I think but Vietnam Youth Union member Ha Thi Thu Trang may have vacationed in the Philippines. Thu Trang (right) may have been mistaken to be Alice Guo aka Guo Hua Ping (left). The resemblance is uncanny. It's said that Alice left for the Philippines for the nth time . Is it because the Bureau of Immigration (BI) is just TANGA? People may LOOK ALIKE but come on -- aren't there supposedly SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS such as passports to prove one after the other? My speculation goes that it may NOT be Alice who left. It was speculated Alice may have left via Tawi Tawi. However, we need to keep our eyes peeled. A claim later said that Alice fled to Malaysia  seven months ago. Instead, it was possibly Thu Trang and not Alice who left. That would put the Bureau of Immigration under hot water.   The Asia Artist Awards 2023 was held in the Philippines. I didn't want to write anything until I realized My Demon is currently Top 2 in Netflix Philippines. Sure, Yu Yu Hakusho is nostalgic among Filipinos. However, K-Dramas have been pretty strong in the Asian market thanks to strong market fundamentals. I just hope that Japan will stop being too exclusive and let more of its shows out. Last time, I remembered writing about Lucifer thinking that ABiaS-CBN entertainment is a match for foreign shows . Right now, there are some Pinoy Netflix originals going on and they can be good. However, I'm going to think about it if he's talking about ABiaS-CBN shows with the DEFAULT teleserye formula - he's got to be deluded! I end up thinking that he's having some kind of delusion from within.  I think Lucifer watches K-Drama thinking that he's seeing ABiaS-CBN celebrities instead of the actual celebrities. Just hearing that CPP-NPA legal fronts (such as Kilusang Mga Ulol) decided to hire UN rapporteur Ian Fry to help dissolve NTF-ELCAC is LAUGHABLE. It should be laughable since Fry himself may have not gotten the whole picture. Also, NTF-ELCAC was created to end Communist ARMED CONFLICT. It's laughable that they hired Fry. Is November 6-15 enough for Fry to get data before he'd say anything? Instead, the CPP-NPA legal fronts should've thought that their best allies could be either China or Vietnam . Why give their sob stories to a white man who needs to assess the situation when they supposedly hate the West?  The CPP-NPA has been weakened ever since Joma Sison died last year. Joma had been dishonorable in many ways. Just think about how Communist leaders stuck by their comrades. Mao Zedong stuck by his comrades in the mountains. Yesterday was the birthday of Antonio Trillanes IV. The Trillanes family was usually kept in privacy. However, files from the Second World War about Joseph Goebbels were long unwrapped. It turns out that Atty. Leni Loud Robredo had hidden a secret that was soon uncovered. Files from the Second World War revealed that Goebbels secretly had an affair with a Filipino woman. It was a well-hidden secret that was only unleashed centuries later that the unidentified Filipino woman led to the Trillanes bloodline. Recently, a war museum in Germany and some of Goebbels' descendants donated their DNA samples . Papers found at Atty. Leni Loud's apartment hid a gossip of Goebbels' secret Filipino mistress and that Trillanes may have been the descendant. Some DNA of Goebbels' descendants was soon tested. The pandemic is over and it's over three years since ECQ, right? It was such a bummer that ABS-CBN lost its franchise turning it into just a media network. Here's one thing I realized - we have to be nationalistic and avoid colonial mentality . If you're truly Filipino then you must love your own shows. Yes, that's why I've decided that I'm going to stop watching K-Dramas (as well as other imported dramas) to watch our very own beloved teleseryes. Right now, I'm trying to get access to a whole DVD set of the hit show Ang Probinsyano and I should've started watching Coco Martin's newest hit drama Batang Quiapo .   Oh boy! Did I forget that South Korea also celebrates the Lunar New Year? My Chinese New Year post recommended that the CPP-NPA should migrate to China permanently . However, there might be the chance that Communist China might relax its free markets again. The late Joma Sison condemned Deng Xiaoping for adopting free market capitalism . Ironically, Sison was hiding in capitalist and democratic Netherlands instead of North Korea, Vietnam, China, or any country that still practices Communism as a form of ideology. Happy Chinese New Year, right? Well, we're all aware of how Jose Maria Sison CROAKED last December 2022. One has to wonder how the CPP-NPA (and all its legal fronts) will be with their founder Sison dead. Ironically, Sison died in the free market DEMOCRATIC Netherlands rather than having died in any country that identifies itself as a Communist nation. It's no surprise that Maria Ressa won an Emmy's Award . Now, it's time to give that award to another person. I'm talking about Maria Josephine "Jover" Laurio. Until now, it doesn't seem Stephen Sackur is ready to interview Jover at all. Ressa released a book called How to Stand Up to a Dictator . There are even forewords by Amar Clooney. If you remembered Jover's wedding - Ressa herself was also a principal sponsor for that wedding. That's why I even recommended Jover Laurio should get nominated for (or even win) the Nobel Fish Fries . This is what I want to happen. I want Jover herself to update her book Resibo .   KDramas tend to get bastardized when the teleserye remake (or adaptation) happens, right? I wrote an article where I mentioned that  teleserye versions of imported shows feel like bootleg . Sure, they're not bootleg, legally speaking, but in QUALITY, they are BOOTLEG. With Glitch coming up on Netflix - I feel that ABiaS-CBN might really want to adapt the show and make it a sequel to their cheap flick Kokey .  I remembered how I made some jokes comparing Jin A Nana's face to Shaina Garcia Magdayao. The leading star is Jeon Yeo Bin. There's no news (yet) of a possible Vincenzo remake but jokes that Coconuts Martin would probably be involved were made. Coconuts' "hit show" Ang Probinsyano finally met its ending after seven agonizing years of terrible storytelling. I guess my bashing of Ang Probinsyano is really not going to stop, right? I wrote about the downfall of Taskforce Agila . I just intended to watch the finale but I decided to watch the penultimate episode (but not entirely) involved in the FAILED hostage crisis. What led to the FAILED hostage crisis was a dreadful miscalculation. Taskforce Agila OVERESTIMATED itself by sending TOO FEW PEOPLE, they're UNDEREQUIPPED and even UNPREPARED. I was reminded of two major incidents namely the Manila Hostage Crisis and the SAF-44 incident . Speaking of SAF-44 -- Coconuts Martin did play as a dead SAF-44 officer. Both were done out of poor coordination. Besides, I even felt the Agilas got crushed due to OVERCONFIDENCE. They were dealing with Renato Hipolito the FINAL VILLAIN. What a dreadful miscalculation. Credit goes to Coconuts Martin I remembered when I wrote a satirical entry about Viva Films making a film called Trillanes: Bayani Ng Oakwood . However, the recent events have VIVA Films with Darryl Yap's newest film Maid in Malacanang makes me wonder if ABiaS-CBN's Star Cinema would be the better filmmaking company to make my dream film Trillanes: Bayani Ng Oakwood . I could imagine the film would be loosely based on the events of the Oakwood Mutiny and the Manila Peninsula Siege. It would probably be a good highlight in an attempt to demonize charter change yet again.  Let's imagine the trailer would go like this, "A man of principle. A man of dignity. A man who saved democracy from charter change. Presenting the story of Antonio Trillanes IV, the hero of Oakwood." The most obvious is that Coconuts Martin will be Antonio Trillanes IV. I don't know if I should be laughing (or not) that Ang Probinsyano aka The Misadventures of Cardo Dalisay is coming to an end. Now, it turns out that Coconuts Martin is about to get a new misadventure based on Batang Quiapo (Youth of Quiapo) where the late Fernando Poe Jr. acts as a pickpocket trying to go straight. Ang Probinsyano had 1,600+ episodes which makes me even wonder if anybody is willing to rewatch it from EPISODE ONE up to the upcoming final episode. This also reminds me of how Antonio Trillanes IV expresses he's a fan of the said show . This reminds me I even wrote an article about if Trillanes would actually get the Nobel Peace Prize . It's because Maria Ressa's Nobel Peace Prize award is totally laughable. I wouldn't be surprised if Ressa even wins a Nobel Prize in Physics this year. Well, I've finally seen the light at long last! It's really time to say goodbye to constitutional reform and we should just stick to the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines. This is an enlightening essay on this day of April 1, 2022 , to which we Filipinos must be ready to make a voice. Any attempt to change the constitution is nothing more than a travesty. We really should prepare our fight to go against charter change by all means. Folks, we've finally all seen the light . The call for constitutional reform is useless! We have finally been enlightened from 2016 to 2022 that the real meaning of "the system" is to simply change the person in charge - not go for a parliamentary system . It's time for constitutional reform to be sacked (and yes, we can trust thought leaders like Jover Laurio of Pinoy Ako Blog in this one) to proceed with the best solution.
