Rappler's Incredibly Massive Failure Of The Mind

This is really something when I heard about how Rappler is yet again in danger of complete shutdown. I'm amazed at how Maria Ressa remains arrogant or how Rappler contradicts itself. I wanted to write another article and ran out of ideas. I feel that like ABiaS-CBN - Rappler has now entered into a whole new level of an INCREDIBLY MASSIVE FAILURE OF THE MIND . Some can say that Rigoberto Tiglao of The Manila Times is a purveyor of fake news. However, I still feel The Manila Times may be more reliable and Tiglao makes sense (at times) even if he's practically clueless about economics and foreign direct investment (FDI).  An opinion piece that I wrote was about  Ressa's appeal to clueless Western media . Unfortunately for her, Stephen Sackur of BBC HARDtalk didn't believe her and blasted her several times . I was laughing at how Ressa made a fool out of herself as Sackur further interrogated her. Did Ressa really believe that she could succeed where her two other frie...

Recalling Maria Ressa's Nobel Peace Prize? Why EVEN BOTHER?

I find it funny how people often file for SILLY PETITIONS. Right now, there's even the call to recall Maria Ressa's prize. Personally, I don't find it a slap against the Duterte Administration neither do I feel it's something to be envious about. Let's face it - those award-winning bodies that gave awards to the likes of Ressa and Liela Dilemma are already questionable so why bother even fuming about them? The so-called " experts of the Philippines and even the world " can't even fix their own problems. For instance, the USA is already a good example in that they really have their COVID-19 cases MUCH WORSE. The International Criminal Court (ICC) Is also pretty questionable with how it's better renamed as the International CLOWN Court or International CIRCUS Court . It was good that the late Miriam Defensor Santiago refused to be part of it or she may have died much earlier.  Now, I was thinking about Ressa's Nobel Peace Prize (and hopefully, sh...

Karen Davila May Consider Scheduling An Interview On BBC HARDtalk

Karen Davila is what her fanbase would brag is a multi-awarded journalist. Going to the University of the Philippines to get a degree is no easy feat either. No one can deny her international awards. But the problem, just like Maria Ressa, is whether or these awards can still build her credibility AMONG FILIPINOS . The recent events really have me thinking that Davila herself may want to be scheduled for a BBC HARDtalk interview. The recent death of Kadamay member Reina May Nasino's three-month-old baby has her granting her "condolences". Davila's statement can be translated as "She's not a convicted criminal. she's not a drug trafficker. She was just an activist. Why so cruel to your fellow Filipino? Absolutely heartbreaking!" This has me wondering what's her proof that KADAMAY member Reina was just an activist but not a terrorist? Kadamay has already been red-tagged long ago and it's not even a productive group. Even Rappler reports that Re...

Jover Laurio Hasn't Written ANYTHING About BBC HARDtalk

Jover Laurio apparently has her selectivity in writing her articles in Pinoy Ako Blog . She's always trying to make Vice President Leni Loud Robredo a gallant, ideal leader for the Philippines while she destructively criticizes President Rodrigo R. Duterte. She has also written some articles where she praises Maria Ressa's awards, Antonio Trillanes IV, and Lourdes Sereno - all who appeared on the investigative show BBC HARDtalk . She was just "lucky" that her first interview wasn't with Sackur. Hmmm... why hasn't she even written ANYTHING about BBC HARDtalk on her blog ? I think it's just a case of her being selective since she doesn't want to make anybody she praises look bad, right? The interview with Ressa happened big time and got HIT HARD . The interview happened a few days ago and guess what - Laurio hasn't even congratulated Ressa for what she thinks would be "Ressa owning Sackur". Before that, she had the chance to "congra...

Which Maria Do You Want To Be Interviewed Next On BBC HARDtalk?

Who enjoyed the grilling session that Stephen Sackur had with Maria Ressa ? If you've noticed the trend - Sackur had already interviewed TWO Marias. The first Maria he interviewed was Maria Lourdes Sereno . The next Maria was Maria Ressa. Now, there are TWO MORE Marias that Sackur may consider interviewing soon namely Maria Josephine "Jover" Laurio of Pignoy Ako Blog and Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni Loud" Robredo . Why the two of them? Sereno and Ressa are both Maria. Now, why can't we have two more Marias on BBC HARDtalk ? It's a place for people with interesting stories to tell, right? Ressa's interesting story to tell had to do with her GUILTY libel case . Sereno's interesting story had to do with her getting kicked out as Chief Justice. Interesting stories right? Well, the two other Marias do have interesting stories too. One is Laurio herself had a series of events that linked up to the #PaBoostNiKris screenshots. Meanwhile, Rob...

Maria Ressa Got Hit Hard On HARDtalk

It was last 2018 when I wrote the post where I had my opinion where Stephen Sackur may want to interview Maria Ressa . Now it happened and how did it end? You may want to listen to the whole interview later . However, I'd like to share my thoughts which how Sackur (as predicted) ended up doing the same as Antonio Trillanes IV and Maria Lourdes Sereno . Like Trillanes and Sereno, they were both people with impressive academic records who ended up failing in life. Ressa today could be considered as one of those. The interview had Sackur actually did some HARDtalk on Ressa's face. Early on, he mentions that the Philippines still has freedom of expression being done. Best hard fact? Sackur mentions straight to Ressa's face rather politely that the Rappler website HAS NOT BEEN SHUT DOWN. The issue is not about press freedom! Why is it that until now no arrest warrant has been released for the likes of Tony La Vina and JC Punongbayan who are also staunch critics against the Du...

Leni Loud Robredo May Consider Appearing On BBC HARDtalk After Getting Fired From ICAD

Picture taken from The Adobo Chronicles satirical page Leni Loud Robredo's Operation Talk-Hang is indeed all talk and no action. Just two weeks after she was probed for her position in Inter-agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD) - you guessed it! She got FIRED for her incompetence. She was already given the chance to prove herself BUT what did she do? Get too focused on press conferences rather than study. It would be a waste of national revenues to really keep her around at ICAD because she's turned Operation Tokhang into Operation Talk-Lang. This would be a very interesting thing if the satirical news from The Adobo Chronicles about Leni Loud Robredo appearing on BBC HARDtalk  came true. BBC HARDtalk is a show for people with interesting stories to tell. You can consider how Stephen Sackur already interviewed both Antonio Trillanes IV and Maria Lourdes Sereno . Neither one of them escaped his ruthless grilling. Right now, it's still uncertain if Sackur wou...

Stephen Sackur Should Interview Jover Laurio On BBC HARDtalk ASAP

BBC HARDtalk is a place for people with interesting stories to tell, right? It's too bad that Stephen Sackur didn't appear to grab the opportunity to interview Jover Laurio while the latter had her interview a year ago. Now, it's time to for Sackur to really consider one thing -- if he wants to have a new interesting story to tell then he should consider Laurio. He may not get his chance to interview Maria Ressa (because of her arrest)  unless the former gets special permission to do so. However, the chances to interview Laurio are still there and I think Sackur should grab it ASAP ! What are the reasons why Sackur should get Laurio interviewed ASAP? She already has so many incidents happening lately such as the incident where Nicko Falsis leaked out that she actually had help from Kris Aquino . You can also consider how her claims of being non-partisan are showing up such as her wedding list and her posts always feature the Yellows. She was also backed up by Ressa who c...

Should KriSTD Aquino Get Interviewed On BBC HARDtalk?

Well thanks to the #PABoost scandal where Nicko Falcis unethically (and presumably illegally) leaked out transactions between both Kris Aquino and Pignoy Ako Blog's Jover Laurio -- it looks like we could be having a BBC HARDtalk anytime soon. Do you remember how Stephen Sackur had ruthlessly grilled both Senator Antonio Trillanes followed up with former Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno . Now, it just looks like that Kris the self-proclaimed "queen of the media" for more than two decades might get her spotlight again on BBC HARDtalk. Like any typical kontrabida in lousy Pinoy teleseryes -- she always plays the victim card whenever things don't go her way (and now she's battling lupus) and she acts like she's always going to have the spotlight. The recent leakage that proves that Kris herself (and possibly more) have been sponsoring Pignoy Ako Blog may be a tempting sight for Sackur. We know how Sackur invited both Trillanes and Sereno in two different occa...

Mar Roxas May Consider Appearing At BBC HARDtalk For His Senatorial Campaign

It's really crazy how Mar Roxas' lack of sense of shame is something. He even dared to imagine himself as the " hero of Tacloban " in his hit comic book series. Now, he's planning to run for senator (again) after he lost both the vice-presidency (during Noynoy's run) and the presidency.  I just wanted to think about what Get Real Philippines once said about how an interview with Andrew Stevens from CNN actually exposed Roxas' character: Stevens seems to share other international media correspondents’ observations and pointed out to Roxas the apparent lack of order in distributing relief goods. While he acknowledged what Roxas was trying to say — that the government could not handle the initial response — Stevens couldn’t help but remind Roxas that it has already been a week and yet the victims of the typhoon still beg for water from him and his crew. Roxas explained that nothing can be fast enough in a situation like the one he is coordinat...

Stephen Sackur May Consider Interviewing Atty. Romulo Macalinlang On BBC HARDtalk

There's a current petition for Atty. Glenn Chong to be featured at BBC HARDtalk  though I think it'd be better if Atty. Romulo Macalintal or better yet renamed as Atty. Romulo Macalinlang will get interviewed next. It's really taxing and funny at the same time to listen to the very idiotic statements of a very stupid lawyer. He can't say that he graduated law at Far Eastern University to say he's not stupid. Stupidity is not always viewed as a lack of IQ -- it can also be linked to one's extreme lack of common sense. Worse, many people may even have graduate degrees and doctorate degrees but they are very stupid because they lack common sense. How can a BBC HARDtalk interview roast Atty. Macalinlang? The claims of how the ballots got wet up to the destroyed ballot boxes are preposterous. How can you wet paper months ago and it still comes back wet? The buildings were also very secure which means that the papers had to be deliberately wet. Another issue worth...

Stephen Sackur May Want To Interview Maria Ressa Next On BBC HARDtalk

After the interview where Stephen Sackur actually grilled Maria Lourdes Sereno then another more likely candidate that may want to dare an interview is Maria Ressa. After all, didn't she win an award called the 2018 Golden Pen of Freedom Award ? She should go and put that award into good use by actually appearing on BBC HARDtalk after Sereno's rather humiliating interview. I actually wanted to see a one-on-one interview with Jover Laurio  though it could get more interesting if Ressa herself would be the next guest. For what reason? The whole Rappler controversy itself could be the next heated topic aside from her award on whether or not she truly deserved to have it. For instance, Sackur may want to have figures and ask why did Rappler write thousands when CNN only said hundreds walked out . He may also point out the problem of Rappler's failure to pay its taxes properly  or even question Ressa's claims of President Duterte is supposedly "repressing press fre...

Maria Lourdes Sereno Says The Dumbest Things On BBC HARDtalk

The moment that many Filipinos may have been waiting for has finally arrived --  it's Maria Lourdes Sereno's interview at BBC HARDtalk . I'm now thinking about how Sereno herself has said some really stupid things. So much for being a graduate from the University of the Philippines -- the very school that once held so much pride in its law students and produced Atty. Harry Roque and the late Miriam Defensor Santiago has become a Yellow Zone.  Stephen Sackur has nailed it right when he said, "You’re sounding very much like a politician and a die-hard Duterte opponent than a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court." It was the same grilling that he gave to Senator Antonio Trillanes IV last 2017. Trillanes showed how he doesn't even respect the proper Philippine democratic process. Now Sereno has proven herself to lack common sense such as when she couldn't account for not filing for her SALN. Instead of sticking on topic -- she ends up firing one red herrin...

Would You Want To See Jover Laurio On BBC HARDTalk?

It's been some time since I launched the question, " Will Jover Laurio survive a BBC HardTalk Interview? " Her BBC Interview happened just before she was stupidly crowned by the Philippine Daily Inquirer as Filipino of the year . Now it's time to consider that why she should really get airtime at Stephen Sackur's TV program BBC HardTalk. The interview she had at BBC was anything but interesting. The reporter that was simply asking her questions looked bored, uninterested or even unconvinced with how Maria Josephine "Jover" Laurio raised her points. But what if she were facing against Stephen Sackur? The same Sackur that ruthlessly grilled Antonio Trillanes IV may end up grilling her as well. It would be nice if somebody who understands Tagalog or any Filipino associated with BBC would at least translate all the Tagalog into English from that idiotic Taglish blog called Pinoy Ako Blog for the interview. This would be an interesting breakdown should ...

Agot Isidro Should Appear On BBC HardTalk If She Decides To Run For Senator

It should be something that the Liberal Party wants to use Agot Isidro as a possible senatorial candidate . It's time to consider what may be her "best move" should she decide to run for Senator would be to get screen time at BBC HardTalk. Hmmm I hope you can smell that this is a humor post meant to make fun of her idiocy. Who could forget the moment when Antonio Trillanes IV was actually grilled on BBC HardTalk ? Just imagine the scenario where Agot herself will get her screen time on BBC HardTalk. I could imagine a few scenarios where Stephen Sackur is most likely going to grill her. He grilled Trillanes and I don't think he would spare Agot. Just imagine the possible questions that Sackur will ask her with huge possibilities that she will get most of the answers WRONG. I remembered some posts I made of Agot where she said it's just during the term of President Duterte where she felt so much traffic  or where she may have implied that drugs actually come fr...

Can Maria Lourdes Sereno Survive A BBC HARDTalk Interview With Stephen Sackur?

I just got this screenshot from Duterte Solid  -- just thinking about the possibility that Maria Lourdes Sereno could get an interview with Stephen Sackur can be that funny. I remembered writing a joke post where I imagined Maria Josephine Laurio would to have a one-on-one with Sackur . This time, something that may be MORE interesting than Laurio getting an interview with Sackur -- it's Sereno. I could think about more possible grillings that Sackur is known to do. Do you remember the time he actually grilled Antonio F. Trillanes IV on BBC? Well, it could be something if and if Sereno herself would be foolish to even accept the invitation and get invited. After all, Trillanes was grilled on the TV airwaves, right? Trillanes is highly educated yet he has very low common sense. Sereno is also no doubt highly educated, she's a lawyer but she may end up chewing herself by failing to apply common sense into her profession .  Just think about she would probably screw up mo...

Would Jover Laurio Survive A BBC HARDTalk Interview With Stephen Sackur?

Here's a picture of Jover Laurio herself alongside Stephen Sackur (and this picture is a modification from this article in Get Real Philippines  where Antonio Trillanes was the original person on the left). After hearing the interview of Laurio on BBC makes it's safe to assume that she's just lucky that she didn't get interviewed by Sackur himself. I mean, who can remember the rather embarrassing encounter as Sackur made lechon manok out of Trillanes ? I think Sackur would have probably made lechon baboy out of Laurio for this reason. From the same article where I got the picture of Sackur before I decided to replace Trillanes with Laurio said about the whole situation: Philippine Senator Antonio Trillanes cemented his infamy after his disastrous interview with Stephen Sackur on his BBC program HARDtalk. He became the laughingstock among Netizens for failing to give rational answers to simple questions. It was very obvious that Sackur did his homework in digging u...
