Congratulations To Mar Roxas For Topping Latest Senatorial Survey

Yup, here's the latest survey and we finally have it -- Mar Roxas is top one Senatorial survey but only if you read the list UPSIDE DOWN! Besides, the others in said "top ten" are Gary Alejano, Bum Aquino, Florin Hibay, Neri Colmenares, Chek Diokno, Romulo Macalinlang, Erwin Taneda, Nancy Binay and Grace Poe-Llamanzares. So what's wrong with the Liberal Party these days? Rather than focus and show people that they can lead -- they choose to remain in doing epal antics. A good example is that Bum himself could have focused on setting up a business campaign given his past accomplishments than to  sell fishballs . A sad fact that Mar himself was once a brilliant achiever but ended up becoming a clown in today's society.  This is the big flaw of the presidential system. Whoever says that popularity-driven systems are better for check and balance has to be joking. The parliamentary system sets real-time debate, more balance between the majority and minority

Economic Protectionism Also Caused The Rise In Illegal Filipino Migrants Around The World

I just thought of the recent problem of the Philippines facing the whole illegal Chinese crisis. But before Filipinos can rightfully demand for the deportation of any illegal foreigner in their country -- they too must agree that illegal Filipinos also need to be deported from the countries they're in. This has me thinking what has been causing the amount of Filipinos to become TNT workers in many countries around the world? You guessed it -- it's the OFW Phenomenon ! Don't believe even for a nanosecond that the increase of OFWs means that Filipinos are taking over the world  -- it's not! Rather, the reflection of having Filipinos scattered all over the world can be compared to the Chinese mass migration that happened during the time of Mao Zedong. Mao left China to be so impoverished resulting to many Chinese working as menial workers almost everywhere around the world. Did China take over the world that time? No, it was proof that China was becoming so sucky th

Maria Ressa Can Brag About All Her International Awards But Can She Regain Her Credibility Back In The Philippines?

Well surprise or not -- Maria Ressa is always getting showered with medals by the clueless Western media . Whether it's the Golden Pen of Freedom 2018  or the Gwen Iffill Freedom Award -- should it be surprising? The award was given in New York City last November 21, 2018 which I missed. Now I think about the whole that "You Dutertards must be just jealous because none of you got that award!" Hmmmm... I'd like to give a bit of common sense reply! So what's she up to again as she receives her award and flaunts it for all to see with pretended humility? Spreading the same old lies to the international community because she's got so little backing back at her home. She's lying that democracy is supposedly "dead"  and that journalism press freedom is under attack. But now, she may have show herself once more that she's probably just a bully and a control freak as revealed by Get Real Pundit  as written by Ilda: Seems Maria Ressa thinks

You Have What You Want But Can You Pay For What You Really Need?

Image from Mag Invest Ka Pinoy Well with Christmas just a few days from now (and the month of November is coming its end) -- I just thought about another issue of why many Filipinos tend to stay poor instead of getting out of it. I'm not saying all Filipinos should become billionaires but this post is all about at least making an effort in getting out of poverty. So what's another issue with many Filipinos that I have observed having grown up in the Philippines since the 90s? It's the issue of spending over one's needs than one's wants. There's still that ongoing problem of the wrong notion of what it means to have lots of wealth . I remembered how often some people said so and so was automatically rich because he was driving a BMW and so and so was automatically poor because he drove a Toyota or rode a jeep going somewhere. It made me think of how some rich entrepreneurs aren't ashamed of riding a jeepney while you've got the less fortunate people

How Evolving Federalism Can Help Spread Out Development

Although federalism is probably one area where I'm somewhat critical of because it's said, "There's no one size that fits all." for it or some federal countries are doing bad -- I just thought about how and why federalism is also needed. But take note that I want to make it the LAST PRIORITY because there's the first priority should be complete  economic liberalization . I was thinking about the second Mactan International Airport that had both the work of Noynoy Aquino and President Duterte. I was thinking how the problem of why it was left unfinished was not only because of Noynoy's term limit but rather the hurdles of the presidential term limits  but also shouldn't responsibility be delegated? That makes states or regions responsible for their airports? In short, a better way of handling it is that neither Noynoy nor President Duterte should be the one finishing all the airports! So what does PDP-Laban intend to do? Centralize all powers to Pr

Don't Tell Me Build Build Build By President Duterte Happened Last 2014?

I'm just amazed at how the Yellowtards are now using PAST PICTURES containing information about the misfortunes of the Noynoy Administration (which shouldn't all be blamed on Noynoy Aquino either) to discredit whatever good President Duterte does now. Sure, they do have the right to give criticism to President Duterte for his shortcomings but what you'll see below in this rather simple post will make you facedesk!  So here's someone who is blaming Build Build Build  for this incident? I guess you are what you watch, right? It just like how their beloved Yellow Media which they consider to be truthful and independent (such as CRappler and ABiaS-CBN). Who can remember CRappler lying about thousands walking out when CNN showed that there were but HUNDREDS in total who walked out ? The obvious biases are now showing yet ABiaS-CBN still wants to make the public believe that they are not siding with anyone yet action speaks louder than words. Now what really happened?

The Art Of War By Antonio Trillanes IV

Ever read Sun Tzu's six stratagems? If China has Sun Tzu then the Philippines has Antonio Trillanes IV to teach the Art of War. The so-called master of the Art of War has given an example to why the Philippines is sadly at a slump with almost everything. So how does his six stratagems differ from Sun Tzu's? I'm just writing this for a joke and please don't look for a book called "The Art of War" written by Trillanes at National Bookstore. Note that this humor post is just there to make fun of the fact that he's really book smart but not street smart as a soldier. For that, I decided to make my own version of his Art of War for the sake of laughs and learning. First stratagem - Every battle must be fought as much as possible. He who fights every battle regardless of win and loss is the most skilled. He who wins the battle without fighting is a coward. This is quite in contrast to what Sun said that it's not he who wins a hundred battles that's

The Philippines Can Defeat China

Yup, there's actually hope that the Philippines can defeat China but I'm not talking about an all-out warfare. Before you can say, "Yeah! We've already won!" or "How can we win if the Philippines doesn't have China's military power?" then please read on before you comment. This is not about launching a head-on strategy but learning some basics on how to win a war. No, I'm not talking about buying Antonio Trillanes IV's strategies considering he failed two major mutinies. The famous Chinese strategist Sun Tzu is known for his Art of War. His six principles have also been applied extensively when Mao Zedong took over China and how Deng Xiaoping made China into a political power. Sun Tzu had six principles can be learned in the Philippines in winning its conflict against China without ever having to necessarily go to war. Principle #1 -- Generally in war, the best policy is to take a state intact; to ruin it is inferior to this…. for

All Those Protests Done By Filipino Communists Won't Scare China One Bit

Yesterday, I wrote about the contradictory nature of the sinophobic Yellowtard . Now I just feel like the need to write about the stupidity of protesting against China. I was always thinking that there's the problem of believing that " Pelepenos ar da most pawerpul race " mindset. They are now protesting and protesting against China but the question is -- is the Chinese Government even a bit scared of them one bit? If they say that China is too "terrified" to attack them thinking it's because they're supposedly "scaring" the Chines Army away -- they're deluded! It's just like why I don't respond to those who derail conversations for starters. Why should the Chinese Army even waste their bullets on USELESS idiots who are protesting against but the latter doesn't have a single resource to fight against the former? The Chinese Army would rather ignore those stupid rallyists and focus on their goals than give attention to those

Supply And Demand Also Affect Stock Market Performance

I was thinking about this rather misleading performance analysis which may have inadvertently resulted to Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's pardon from whatever crimes she supposedly committed. Now, it's no secret that the Philippine Stock Exchange is in a new level of low -- which means it's time to buy stocks now. But you've got Yellow analysts who'd conveniently blame anyone not in their camp. For instance, can we accredit Gloria's and Noynoy's economic reform program or maybe blame Fidel V. Ramos for the 31% decrease in stock market performance to Joseph Estrada's first 100 days? So what could the Yellow economists and well economic neanderthals be ignoring? It doesn't take a doctorate in economics to understand this one simple fact -- the law of supply and demand! While supply and demand alone isn't the only reason why the stock market goes up or down in terms of prices -- but let's consider this one. If more people demand to buy stocks then

The Irony Of Yellowtard Sinophobia

We have the recent visit of China from its current leader President Xi Jinping. Now, there may be the Yellow hysteria from what I'd call the anti-Chinese Yellows or Yellowtard sinophobes. I remembered the time when there was that banner that hang "Welcome to Philippines: Province of China" around last year and yup -- PNoy Ako blog's mastermind Jover Laurio was spotted in said event which suggests that she's participating in all of these shenanigans. Did you know when there was the rumor among sinophobe Yellowtards that President Rodrigo R. Duterte wanted to sell Boracay (which is now reopened ) to China? Now it's time to consider the irony of the Yellowtard sinophobes. What's the irony of the Yelloward sinophobes who aren't of Filipinos of Chinese descent or Filipino-Chinese? They have their disgust or hatred for anything Chinese but here's some very important facts that they failed to consider. A good number of Aquino supporters are Filipino-

Mar Roxas May Consider Appearing At BBC HARDtalk For His Senatorial Campaign

It's really crazy how Mar Roxas' lack of sense of shame is something. He even dared to imagine himself as the " hero of Tacloban " in his hit comic book series. Now, he's planning to run for senator (again) after he lost both the vice-presidency (during Noynoy's run) and the presidency.  I just wanted to think about what Get Real Philippines once said about how an interview with Andrew Stevens from CNN actually exposed Roxas' character: Stevens seems to share other international media correspondents’ observations and pointed out to Roxas the apparent lack of order in distributing relief goods. While he acknowledged what Roxas was trying to say — that the government could not handle the initial response — Stevens couldn’t help but remind Roxas that it has already been a week and yet the victims of the typhoon still beg for water from him and his crew. Roxas explained that nothing can be fast enough in a situation like the one he is coordinat

Bum Aquino Needs To Stop Over-Emphasizing Filipino Literature

This is VERY SAD indeed that lousy systems create lousy people out of promising people. I remembered writing how such a person was  Bam Aquino who ended up turning into Bum Aquino under a presidential system. Would have Bam been under a parliamentary system -- he may have never had to throw his brilliant mind out of the window to survive the popularity-driven system. Now, he's really getting stuck on one thing -- bringing back Philippine literature subjects in College! Here's what the Manila Bulletin has to say about Bum's current well bummer statement: Aquino recalled that it was in his college years that he became more aware of the country’s needs and emphasized that Filipino literature can help deepen the youth’s love and appreciation for the struggles, revolutions, and victories of fellow Filipinos. “Sa kolehiyo lumalim ang pagmamahal ko sa bayan. Kaya mahalaga na hanggang tertiary level, tuloy-tuloy ang pag-aaral at pagpapalalim sa ating pagiging Pilip

Could Leni Loud Robredo's Unaccounted Expenses Be Contributing To This Term's Economic Decline?

ABiaS-CBN and other Yellow media network will always be biased -- not just towards President Duterte but towards ANYONE who is not yellow. I was already thinking of a possible economic sabotage and perhaps pieces of the puzzle need to be put together. Aside from the possible oligarchy's revenge because well they had to pay much bigger tax deficits -- it's highly possible that another piece of the puzzle is Leni Loud Robredo's expensive trips  and where did she get ALL that money to party lavishly? Sure, her late husband Jesse Robredo was from a wealthy family but I doubt it that he could have left more than enough money for her lavish lifestyle. Let's face it that it's possible to purposely misdeclare the actual amount and/or source of funds. Let me give you an example. Let's say that I'm the president and I decided to spend PHP 100 Billion in leisure trips and I would lie to the public that it's from my own wallet -- even if public knowledge already

Toei Should NEVER Let GMA-7 Have Another License To Adapt Errr Bastardize Voltes V Or ANY SHOW They Own Ever Again

GMA-7 already screwed it up with Zaido -- now according to Ukiya Seed -- they're planning to screw up Voltes V? This is what I'd call one travesty after the other. Toei really made a serious mistake in authorizing GMA-7 to do Zaidorks . Now, for the 40 years old series Voltes V -- it's going to be another predicted travesty like Zaidorks. I could remember ever reason why I really hate Zaido until today and still do. It was a true insult to the sacrifices made by the Space Sheriffs by attempting to even make it a "sequel" of said show. I even dread the idea of GMA-7 dubbing Ucchu Sentai Kyuranger and INSERTING how heroic the Zaidorks were into Shou Ronpou's mouth. While I didn't mind too much about the idea of Tsuperhero -- the real problem I had with the show was how mediocre it was even for comedy standards. Not to mention -- even an amateur Toku fan like myself should be able to notice Tsuperhero is ripping off the first Kamen Rider's special eff

The "Wala Naman Tayong Magagawa Diyan" Attitude

Do you know one of the many reasons why the Philippines has had at least three decades or more of backward thinking? I could also blame it on the "wala naman tayong magagawa" or "we can't do anything". It's the idiotic attitude of pacifism which has caused nothing to be done. This would be argued also with trying to reason that "diyan naman tayo nasanay" or "that's where we are used to." You can imagine how disgusting that attitude is appealing to idiotic arguments such as hundred years experience argument  -- like people should just get used to it because it's been there for hundreds of years. Never mind that what's been used to for hundred of years will cost more than the cost for actually removing it! Also, did they even consider that before a hundred years that it always starts with no experience at all? Some can say that it will cost a lot of money to change an incompetent system for a better one. It does take mone

The Sleep Deprived Filipino

Too much sleep is bad for you then again so is too little sleep. If there's anything that needs to be considered in the work cycle -- it's when too much pressure is too much! Somebody can say that 46% of Filipinos don't get enough sleep but that's probably just an understatement. If you think about it -- it's probably higher than 50% and may even have reached 80% or even more as of recent. Can you really think about the effects of sleep deprivation? Here's an excerpt from The Philippine Star concerning sleep deprivation: What does sleep really do for us? Aside from allowing the body to rest, sufficient, quality sleep allows our minds to refresh, and facilitates the transfer of short-term to long-term memory. Proper sleep has been proven to help students perform better in school the following day, particularly in complicated tasks like mathematics. Decision-making and emotional stability are also affected by the right amount of good sleep. A team of scie

A Parliamentary System Can Greatly Help Improve Government Office Performance

It just reminded me of how there's a slogan that says, "Want to earn money while sleeping? Work for the government!" That's really what I'd call something that should never be and never be done. A government is what keeps said country in control. Government agencies are supposed to be there to help regulate society in its functions. However, you have the problem of government agencies that fail to do their job because of a scenario government offices have become an escape route when you get fired from your regular private job. But is the problem to why that's happening  just the people or the system itself ? So how can a parliamentary system fix the current problems of government offices and underperformance in contrast to a presidential system? Presidential is all about popularity-based system -- both the majority and minority bloc are only focused on popularity than credibility. On the other hand, a parliamentary system has both blocs focused head-on in

What Do Marquis Of Peace Pang Yu And Mar Roxas Have In Common?

There was a certain someone in China called as Pang Yu where he was titled as the Marquis of Peace by Emperor Renzong. It was a time of famine and disaster. Emperor Renzong entrusted Pang Yu to use relief funds to help people in need. But what did he do? He embezzled public funds for his own use. Funds that should have been used to help people who were afflicted by a current disaster. People in Chenzhou complained over to Judge Bao. Judge Bao decided to lead the arrest of said official for misusing government funds for personal use. He even dared to deny that he did what he did -- even lied that he was efficient and that the delays were "necessary". However, investigations proved that Marquis of Peace Pang was actually guilty of several crimes that led to Judge Bao to order said execution. So who's the Filipino version of Pang Yu? It's none other than a certain someone who may have misused the Yolanda funds . That person is none other than Manuel A. Roxas II. Consi
