Happy Fall of Saigon anyone? The Fall of Saigon was the conclusion of the 19-year armed struggle of the Vietnam War on April 30, 1975. North Vietnam was a Communist country while South Vietnam had the Vietnamese First Policy. Ngo Dimh Diem (who was later assassinated in Ho Chi Minh City).
