It's probable Liza Soberano has outgrown her ABiaS-CBN brat days . I normally don't update on her. However, her turn where she actually explores South Korea shows that systems DO shape behavior . It can be easy to condemn South Korean entertainment due to some crazy stuff that happened. It's not like as if the Filipino entertainment atmosphere is SO PURE EITHER! I watched this video of Liza Soberano in South Korea. Some say she resembles half-white, half-Korean actress Nancy McDonnie. I see the resemblance BUT I think she looks closer to Japanese actress Meisa Kuroki -- an actress I said, "Risa Hontivirus ikaw ba yan?"  It's easy to blame the actress over poor performance in teleseryes. It's time to GET REAL, isn't it? I may have written a lot of posts against Kris Aquino. There are times I feel like being mean to the person. It's because some of my college classmates wouldn't show up for the practice or project. After all, they'll miss an episode of Deal or No Deal. Popularity is fickle and fading. First, I'd like to say congratulations to Kim Chiu even if I don't like ABiaS-CBN. I still think both the late Noynoy Aquino and former president Rodrigo R. During the pandemic, I wrote a blog entry about whether or not Filipino leftist lawmakers will pass a law obliging Filipinos to support lousy local media .   The Asia Artist Awards 2023 was held in the Philippines. I didn't want to write anything until I realized My Demon is currently Top 2 in Netflix Philippines. Sure, Yu Yu Hakusho is nostalgic among Filipinos. However, K-Dramas have been pretty strong in the Asian market thanks to strong market fundamentals. I just hope that Japan will stop being too exclusive and let more of its shows out. Last time, I remembered writing about Lucifer thinking that ABiaS-CBN entertainment is a match for foreign shows . Right now, there are some Pinoy Netflix originals going on and they can be good. However, I'm going to think about it if he's talking about ABiaS-CBN shows with the DEFAULT teleserye formula - he's got to be deluded! Months ago, Coconuts Martin launched another "masterpiece" based on FPJ's Batang Quiapo . That was some time after Ang Probinsyano which totally was a big joke. Seeing one Korean crime drama after the other makes me LMAO over why Ang Probinsyano even exists . Now, there's Voltes V Legacy which I heard would be 80 episodes. WUT? Okay, I'm not exactly pleased since GMA-7 did give us that licensed garbage called Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawan . I decided to watch a few Voltes V Legacy episodes which seek to expand the storyline. It may have Toei Ltd.'s involvement but I think much time is wasted on padding. I wish they would've simply aimed for 50 episodes and expanded the lore from there. No, I think the 80 episodes Monday to Friday format might give me a good reason to skip it. I could imagine what ABiaS-CBN might do to counter Voltes V Legacy . I wrote about online piracy  and about the FAILED attempt to stop Filipinos from bringing home imported media . Right now, I'm not surprised that ABiaS-CBN has joined the campaign for House Bill No. 7600 . Those who are currently known to campaign for it are John Arcilla and Shaina Garcia Magdayao. Both of them starred in Ang Probinsyano . We have first-world countries that are against media piracy. Celebrities get paid according to the legitimate purchases of their products. Right now, I'm thinking about how ABiaS-CBN could enter another INCREDIBLY MASSIVE FAILURE OF THE MIND. Maybe, I can always point out the attitudes of ABiaS-CBN celebrities vs. South Korean celebrities during the Legacy Virus pandemic . A better focus would be on the economic side of things. That's why I even want to joke that maybe Batang Quiapo (which is also based on another film by the late Fernando Poe Jr.) would be for 14 YEARS . I would like to share my thoughts on what could possibly be troll farms by ABiaS-CBN .  One speculation I made was how 2 Good 2 Be True had high ratings on Netflix . It's highly possible that troll farms (through password sharing) might have caused Netflix's password-sharing crackdown . I think troll farms were watching 2 Good 2 Be True via Netflix to make it look relevant. If so, I guess the Philippines may have entered the Hall of Shame AGAIN. Is there anything worthy of Proud to be Pinoy slogan then?  I think ABiaS-CBN just plays dirty. I even heard how some of Sky Internet (ABiaS-CBN) doesn't play fair either...

I could care less which came first between Wonder Woman or Darna. There's always going to be some inspiration from somewhere. Just think that Toei Ltd. once had Marvel's permission to create their own version of Spiderman. I'd admit that I can be a fan of the Darna movies or the Wonder Woman movies. I used to watch the Wonder Woman TV series starring Lynda Carter who's now a stunning old lady. We also have Gel Gadot who's pretty while I ironically think an elderly Lynda looks prettier. Now, I could think about Darna and  how the superheroine franchise may be disrespected in recent times. Today is the birth anniversary of the late Carlos Celdran. I actually feel like the Get Real Philippines website has maligned him. True, it was wrong for Celdran to wish former president Rodrigo R. Duterte dead. Celdran later died in his sleep. However, I can't forget that Celdran is like the other Yellows worth respecting. I still couldn't get over how Celdran appeared in the private screening of Give Up Tomorrow where he called it a trial by publicity.
