  It can be very easy for people to say I'm just jealous of Maria Ressa's awards. One can say that I'm jealous of Ressa's Nobel Fish Fries . What can't be denied is that Stephen Sackur didn't want to believe everything Ressa said. Before the Nobel Fish Fries and the Sackur Punch Award - she had her Golden Pen of Freedom award in 2018 . We have Ressa's desperate appeal to the clueless Western media . The big question is, "Did any of those awards generate jobs for Filipinos?"  I checked the #FactsFirstPH initiative which was last 2022 . POLITIKO I used to read Rappler and the Manila Times . You may notice many of my articles here quote Rigoberto "Bobi" (better yet BOBO) Tiglao. I've written some scathing articles as a private citizen questioning Maria Ressa's credibility. I watched the BBC HARDtalk interview laughing when Ressa, though calm, still made a fool out of herself on the same show . I was amazed at how Sackur himself managed to hit Ressa with some rebuttals. Fortunately, Ressa kept her calm even after the show ended. I would often refer to Tiglao's articles such as articles on Liela Dilemma , who's currently out on bail, and the new spokesperson of the Liberal Party of the Philippines-Dilawan People's Army (LPP-DPA) while Angat Buhay remains as its legal front. The LPP-DPA may not be as dangerous as the CPP-NPA. However, their devotion to the late Noynoy Aquino is almost eerily similar to CPP-NPA members' devotion to the late Joma Sison. Maria Ressa is a bad joke and so is the Nobel Foundation in its current state. I really feel like people should petition that Ressa herself should get a Nobel Prize in Physics next. Maybe, have Jover Laurio, Antonio Trillanes IV, or any of Ressa's closest friends win the Nobel Fish Fries. It's no surprise that Maria Ressa won an Emmy's Award . Now, it's time to give that award to another person. I'm talking about Maria Josephine "Jover" Laurio. Until now, it doesn't seem Stephen Sackur is ready to interview Jover at all. Ressa released a book called How to Stand Up to a Dictator . There are even forewords by Amar Clooney. If you remembered Jover's wedding - Ressa herself was also a principal sponsor for that wedding. That's why I even recommended Jover Laurio should get nominated for (or even win) the Nobel Fish Fries . This is what I want to happen. I want Jover herself to update her book Resibo . I'm amazed at the ARROGANCE that Maria Ressa possesses. I guess she never learned ANYTHING from the BBC HARDtalk with Stephen Sackur . I was thinking about a couple of humor posts that I wrote after Maria Ressa won her "well-deserved" Nobel Peace Prize . Yesterday, I decided to listen to Vice President Leni Loud Robredo's interview with Boy Abunda . I prefer to call it the "Loud House Interview" since Leni Loud herself is pretty much like Leni Houd of The Loud House of Nickelodeon. Maria Ressa can keep getting all the awards she wants . Honestly, I don't care anymore especially if it's from the clueless Western media . Though one "award" that Ressa got that I did care about was the Sackur Punch Award - one that she got on BBC HARDtalk . I find it funny how people often file for SILLY PETITIONS. Right now, there's even the call to recall Maria Ressa's prize. Personally, I don't find it a slap against the Duterte Administration neither do I feel it's something to be envious about. It's really something to think about the Maria Ressa got the Nobel Peace Prize. I think the nominees are now questionable especially with Greta Thunberg. It was last 2018 when I wrote the post where I had my opinion where Stephen Sackur may want to interview Maria Ressa . Now it happened and how did it end? Well, it's official that Maria Ressa is indeed GUILTY of cyber-libel . It was a case that was passed against her by Filipino-Chinese businessman Wilfredo Keng . I don't think it was mere tort as the false accusations were rather heavy. The whole case of Rappler itself is NOT a matter of press freedom but an abuse of it. What Ressa and her fellow reporter Reynaldo Santos Jr. who could be sentenced from six months up to a maximum of six years.
