Making It Fun in the Philippines

I decided to finish watching Kill It on KissAsian (though I'd rather have it legally available on Netflix). Now, I thought about bashing one of the most pointless teleseryes ever produced namely Ang Probinsyano . Probinsyano has been airing for 2015 and it's already 2020. Like really? I can't imagine shows running that long. Recently, it's Season 7 and if there's one little good thing the Legacy Virus brought in - it's the suspension of the "never-ending" boring misadventures of Cardo Dalisay (series version). Personally, I find the whole casting of Coconuts Martin is just stupid. Maybe, I'm having too much of the late Fernando Poe Jr.'s hype or what? Come to think of it - I think Susan Roces isn't doing her husband a favor by appearing as a character in the said TV series. Martin even dares to all the fight for ABiaS-CBN to have its free frequency as the fight for every Filipino? Puh-lease! Though ANC and other ABiaS-CBN owned cable ...

In the recent light of current events - COVID-19 or the Legacy Virus  is already spreading faster than usual in some areas of the world. A recent report is that  the "greatest country in the world" (the United States of America or the US) has increased up to 135,000 confirmed cases . Another report also shows the  COVID-19 has become an epidemic in Europe too . This would really be another good time to hammer some arrogant white men. It's amazing to see how Pignoy Ako Blog politicizes everything - whether it's the Taal volcano incident or the recent COVID-19 pandemic. After Jover Laurio's questionable stroke  to the screenshots of #PaBoostNiKris - I don't think that Kris Aquino herself is the only one paying Jover's boost. One could consider Vice President Leni Loud Robredo could be involved in the #PABoost of Pignoy Ako Blog with the others such as Change Scamming and #SilentNoMore. I was thinking of a couple of times that the Dilawans really screwed themselves up. The reason behind their opposition to the parliamentary is probably due to the fear of the unknown. The reason why they went against constitutional reform not just once but THRICE is something. Do you remember the times when Fidel V. It's amazing to see how some Filipino "men" can call Korean men as "fags". I could talk about a certain someone who has an intense, irrational hatred for South Korea, all things Korean, and he always calls them "fags". However, said person is hardly physically fit. It's always been a constant source of irritation when you see Filipinos who just refuse to follow simple guidelines , right? If that's so then how much more for people in power. Well, it's really sad to realize that Koko Pimentel himself violated the guidelines. It was really a BIG MISTAKE for President Rodrigo R. Duterte to receive Koko into PDP-Laban. Sure, it must be VERY BORING to be stuck at home, right? I heard that Sarah Elago allegedly said that the lockdown or quarantine is making people have a hard time. Being required to stay home for any good reason is very boring. The reason right now that people are required to stay home under quarantine (or even enhanced quarantine) is because Coronavirus or COVID-2019 (or as I'd like to dub it as the Legacy Virus ) is HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS. It's one thing to criticize President Duterte for his shortcomings. It's another thing to derail him whether or not he's right and wrong. Somehow, some people may be thinking that maybe COVID-19 would have not entered the Philippines if Mar Roxas won, Leni Loud Robredo won, or Antonio Trillanes IV won. Certain areas of the Philippines have been put under quarantine or lockdown mode. The only things that can enter these areas are the supply of food and medical help. Recently, (as reported by the Philippine Star )   - there's a COVID-19 taskforce assigned to crackdown profiteering in the midst of a pandemic . So why the need for that taskforce? It's because of the principle of supply and demand. There are too many demands and too little supply during the pandemic. It's the basic rule of economics that high demand and low supply then expect prices to SKYROCKET. Activist recruits are people who lack basic knowledge of economics . She's supposed to be a lawyer so at least she should know that pandemic handling will involve the military .
