What makes South Korea better in handling the crisis than the Philippines? We can always consider the common problems of the Philippines as a society. One of the biggest problems in the Philippines are people who just refuse to follow simple guidelines. How often do you have it that many Filipinos tend to enjoy doing stuff like littering, not playing their music on the boom on bedtime, smoking in non-smoking areas, not showing up on time, and the like? South Korea was able to do a successful community quarantine for one good reason - South Korean "fags" follow simple guidelines. Meanwhile, Filipino "men" may think it's anything but manly to follow simple guidelines.
Why am I actually in favor of having military and policemen intervene now? I may no longer be a Duterte supporter, I may think President Duterte should've followed the temporary travel ban earlier but he's right in calling for quarantine. It has to do with the fact that many Filipinos just don't bother to follow simple guidelines. Others probably have the mentality that they would rather commit suicide than follow rules. You can consider just how that kind of mentality requires soldiers and policemen to help fight off pandemics. Hopefully, Leni Loud Robredo is allowing military and policemen (instead of the Magdalo) to make sure her relief program goes on easily. Hopefully, Vico Sotto is allowing military and policemen to help assist the mobile markets to ensure peace and order in times of chaos.
South Korean "fags" are actually winning the COVID-19 crisis by following simple guidelines. They aren't challenging (or even minding) the Filipino "men" who brag about how manly they are. Instead, they just do what they did by following Winston Churchill's advice on not throwing stones at every dog that barks. Meanwhile, too many Filipino "men" probably still have their false sense of manliness thinking it's cool to break the rules. Fortunately, some real Filipino men are following the South Korean men's example of following guidelines in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis.
