As if Leni Loud Robredo about the current QUARANTINE wasn't enough - we do have the croakings of that evil toad going on again on the same subject. Toady Casino is always known for his stupid statements. The more I look at him (and his photos) - the more he seems to be aware that he's actually lying. You might be able to notice he tends to paint a sinister smile in some of his photos. Right now, even his smile there looks really SINISTER.
Right now, I don't think Casino lacks common sense. Rather, he's a power-hungry individual which may explain his stance against foreign investment, shift to parliamentary, or even whatever inconveniences him and his kind. Those things he goes against will depower his kind. When Antonio Tinio of Alliance of Concerned Teachers reacted to the plan to withdraw from the International Clown Court - doesn't that show that they aren't truly nationalistic? I think the way Casino is reacting towards the current #COVID19 problem is that he has his personal agendas. That's why I even wrote that Filipino activist groups just use "nationalism" as a cover for their sinister activities.
I think Casino really knows historically (since he's a lawyer) that soldiers (and policemen) do get involved in combatting a pandemic. There are too FEW HEALTH WORKERS and TOO MANY PEOPLE in the MIDST OF CHAOS. Sun Tzu has the quote that there's opportunity in the midst of chaos. Mao Zedong himself mastered Sun Tzu's Art of War and he took advantage of the chaos China underwent so he could grab that power. If there were no military and policemen in the midst of the chaos then Filipino activists can certainly take advantage of the panic, right? It's always been the style of demagogues to deal with chaos and turn it into opportunities for themselves. A good example is to appeal to the lazy youth who expect progress but don't want to follow simple guidelines. There's a lot of good opportunities to make them into willing dupes, right? Maybe, they can also turn those who'd rather commit suicide than follow rules into kamikaze squads huh? I guess that's why the freedom of assembly is temporarily suspended.
Need I mention that student activists have their irrational fear of soldiers and policemen? They start to be afraid of the presence of military. I guess what Casino is doing in his latest post is feeding on that fear. Some people tend to be more afraid of the existence of soldiers and policemen than the abuses that they commit. It's one thing to be afraid of abuses done by soldiers and policemen. It's another to loathe and hate their presence because they exist. Soldiers and policemen are there to serve for law and order. Their arrival during this pandemic is because, again, there's always opportunity in chaos. Soldiers and policemen have their opportunity to serve affected civilians directly. However, there's also the opportunity by lawbreakers to do stuff like profiteering, stealing relief goods, spread mass hysteria, or even converting samples of COVID-19 into a biological weapon of mass destruction. I even want to think Casino is probably thinking of turning COVID-19 into a biological weapon for the Filipino activists to use. That's why soldiers and policemen are needed to squash whatever opportunities lawbreakers will have in the midst of chaos.
