It's one thing to criticize President Duterte for his shortcomings. It's another thing to derail him whether or not he's right and wrong. Somehow, some people may be thinking that maybe COVID-19 would have not entered the Philippines if Mar Roxas won, Leni Loud Robredo won, or Antonio Trillanes IV won. Now, it's time to throw in some humor to boost the immune system of people in the midst of COVID-19 with another Roxas-Trillanes administration joke.
Do you remember the time when Roxas went to Tacloban and gave unnecessary remarks? Do you remember how Trillanes handled his two mutinies in Manila Peninsula Bay and Oakwood? Just imagine if these two were president and vice president right now. One can imagine what they might do such as epidemic-related areas. Chances are President Roxas and Vice President Trillanes would politicize and maybe even declare martial law or lockdown for their own benefit. After screwing up the Sea Games 2019 and ASEAN 2017 - just expect them to screw up with the 2020 epidemic that started last in 2019.
President Roxas would probably snub areas, not within his favor. Let's consider that he would probably go to Davao and say, "You must understand that I'm a Roxas, your vice president is a Trillanes, and your mayor is a Duterte..." for starters. He might do the same thing to Tacloban due to the Romualdezes. Vice President Trillanes would deploy his Magdalo troops to be led by GaryAlejano. Chances are it would be military intervention gone wrong. Maybe, we can imagine Leni Loud Robredo who would also involved in relief operations too. You might expect checkpoints but they may start to be vindictive. Either you are pro-Roxas and pro-Trillanes or you can consider yourself, "BAHALA KA NA SA BUHAY MO!" ("You're on your own now!") if you have contracted COVID-19.
We may also witness a whitewashing of the news - North Korea style. Granted, ABiaS-CBN would be used by President Roxas and Vice President Trillanes to make them appear as caring citizens. Karen Devila herself would probably say that the leadership of both President Roxas and Vice President Trillanes exceed that of their neighboring ASEAN countries. Organizations from countries not knowing the truth would probably publish them as role leaders in pandemic control. However, what will be hidden from the mass media is that the increasing number of deaths by neglect. Maybe, they might dismiss the deaths from lack of cooperation or however their allies would want to paint it. Trying to share vital information will be banned under their quarantine control. They just want to make sure that they look good, right?
Other possible scenarios are that they would probably dilly-dally the quarantine operations. Rigoberto Tiglao also mentioned that Roxas backed the Boracay elites. It would also be very possible that President Roxas would not raise the Philippines under a "state of calamity" until the calamity is already obvious or is getting closer to him. Vice President Trillanes would probably also try to distract people with his nonsense too. Chances are the Philippines would've probably been a ghost town too under their rule.
