VIVA Films And Their B.S. Biased Biopic Films

"Before you watch Jacqueline Comes Home - you better watch Giving Up Tomorrow first!" would be a good thing to say. I thought about that line and didn't realize that a Chiong sisters movie was made. Years ago back when I was in high school - I remembered that there was a plan to make the movie. It was back then I still sympathized with Thelma Chiong not having known anything yet. What do you expect from an angry 14-year-old back then? The film was made by VIVA Films - the same film company that made two other movies namely the award-winning The Flor Contemplacion Story (which is probably their iconic biopic film used by the feeling oppressed) and Vizconde Massacre Story (which came around 1993). The movie about the late Flor Contemplacion tried to make a guilty woman look innocent. If you noticed - her two sons Joel and Jun Jun starred as themselves in said film. They wouldn't be willing to work on it if the film portrayed their deceased mother as what she was ...

Do You Remember The Chiong Sisters Case?

The recent renewal of Antonio Sanchez's contract with Boysen now raises another issue namely the Chiong Sisters controversy around yesterday  which I didn't know started to resurface last year. It was in 1999 when I was still that typical angry delinquent of a high school student. I remembered watching The Calvento Files with the late Tony Calvento who died two years ago. I remembered the dramatization which had Nino Muhlach act as Francisco Juan "Paco" G. Larranaga. Muhlach would later regret his misdeed and admitted that he was "just doing his job" as ABiaS-CBN would have told him. I never realized that there were inconsistencies such as the one-sidedness of the late Judge Martin Ocampo who ended up committing suicide. Later, there were friends who testified (and also the teachers in Manila) that Paco could've not been in Cebu City at the time of the incident. Paco was in Manila the whole time. How can Paco be in two places at the same time? I just d...

Inquirer's Choice Of Cover Girls From Jover Laurio To Preen's Five Filipino Communist Bitches

It's anything but surprising that five Filipino bitches (right) namely Sarah Elago (Kayabangan Partylist Representative), Alex Danday (Anakbayad), Paula Janer (College Editor’s Guild of the Philippines or CEGP), Kara Taggaoa (League of Failipino Students), and Blaise Bellosillo (National Union of Students in the Philippines) became cover girls for Inquirer. Just remember that last 2017 they had  Jover Laurio honored as the Filipino of the Year last 2017 . If they can make the brainless work of Pinoy Ako Blog and praise it as an intellectually well-researched masterpiece then why should we be surprised when Filipino communist women are the next cover girls? Once again, Inquirer is putting Filipino women - if not Filipinos in general in a very bad light! Inquirer's choice of cover girls is contributing to its shrinkage in credibility. Elago (who's thankfully not at the center of the Filipinas for Change) isn't doing anything right in her work but whine, whine, whine. ...

Would You Let Magdalo (Instead Of Police And Military) Protect The Schools In Case Of An Emergency?

The NPA recruitment of minors happening at a very fast rate is NOT something to be taken lightly. President Duterte tried having peace talks with the NPA (presumably due to young people in them) but it failed. Now, the recent event has it that certain universities that are a target for police and military supervision are protesting against it. But I do have an alternative for them if they hate the military and police. They can ask for Antonio Trillanes IV, Gary Alejano, and their Magdalo troops to protect these schools in case of an emergency. Any big crisis would definitely require  the declaration of martial law  or military intervention. The Philippine government would require a mandatory military checkpoint in schools and public gathering areas for this reason - to protect the civilians from possible invasions or to ward out infiltrators. If the area is in a certain threat then that area needs to have a military intervention. It's just like how Mindanao had to have mili...

Would Filipino Student COMMUNIST Groups Trust Criminals And Terrorists Over Police And Military For Their Safety Needs?

The militarization of schools is either good or bad. If the militarization happens without a good cause like a national state of emergency - then by all means protest! However, the recent proposal to militarize certain schools because of the recent phenomenon of disappearing minors to the New People's Army (NPA). The NPA is something that school authorities and guards aren't able to handle themselves. The security guards in schools are only meant to handle basic cases but they do have to call the cops should something beyond their control happens. Unfortunately, the NPA recruitment of students is something that security guards can't handle in contrast to trained policemen and soldiers. These are two fears that I believe have been confirmed. First, two former rebels have confirmed that the NPA does indeed recruit students . Second, a DepEd executive confirms that NPA recruitments of students have been found in Northern Mindanao . Thes two fears reveal that the NPA has ind...

Just Sign The Contract With Boysen, Antonio Sanchez!

The  Philippine Daily Inquirer has CONFIRMED that President Rodrigo R. Duterte has spoken that there will be NO FREEDOM for convicted murderer-rapist. Senator Bato Dela Rosa and Vice President Leni Loud Robredo may want to take their words back. Senator Dela Rosa has the high probability chance that he's wrong about Sanchez being a "changed man". Hmmm... funny that Vice President Leni Loud hasn't spoken about giving Sanchez a chance after she said that criminals should be given a second chance in life . The Revised Penal Code that was signed by Noynoy Aquino even didn't save him because of provisions against heinous crimes. Now here's what  Rappler  has to say regarding the penal code and its interpretation by the Department of Justice: First let's dissect Republic Act 10592 or the good conduct time allowance law. We begin with Section 1 of RA 10592 which tackles who is eligible for credit of preventive imprisonment, the pre-conviction jail time o...

Did We Forget Leni Loud Robredo Also Believed In Giving Second Chances To Criminals too?

Senator Bato Dela Rosa is definitely wrong about giving former mayor Antonio Sanchez another chance after that heinous crime. Like I said, Sanchez should've been executed by lethal injection back when the death penalty was still available. But did we forget that Leni Loud Robredo herself also said something about giving second chances to criminals too? Here's what Philippine Star revealed last December 3, 2016: “We believe that every person should be given a second chance at life. Convicted criminals should be rehabilitated and be given a chance for reintegration… We should not give up on those who have done wrong, and we should exhaust all means possible to help them rehabilitate and be reintegrated in the society,” she said. The statement made by Leni Loud is no different than Bato's error about Sanchez. So why even blame President Duterte for the possible Sanchez release? Senator Dela Rosa is definitely wrong and so is Leni Loud. So again Dilawan why a...

The Revised Death Penalty Law Also Needs To Address Executing Corrupt Politicians

The recent blunder of Senator Bato Dela Rosa is when he said that Antonio Sanchez who has been in jail for some time "should be given a second chance". I do appreciate Senator Dela Rosa's dedication but he's definitely in need of some common sense. He may be concerned about NPA recruitment but his recent statement is a blunder. If anyone is asking why the death penalty can get ineffective is because it's not used properly. If you're just executing poor criminals but sparing RICH ONES who were confirmed guilty, if you're having judges that accept bribes, if you have power-playing (like it turned out that Thelma Chiong's sister was an appointee of Erap) - that's why I wrote about the need to be cautious before reinstating the death penalty . Former mayor Sanchez should've been the first to get the lethal injection - not a small-time crook like the late Leo Echegaray. Sanchez was already guilty of several crimes against life so why was he just k...

Why Shin Hye Sun, Not Sarah Elago, Deserves More Love From Filipino Audiences

There's no doubt that both Shin Hye Sun and Representative Sarah Elago kinda look alike except for different skin tones. I don't find either one of them attractive. I still think of Sarah whenever I watch Hye Sun's TV series. So what's the difference between Sarah and Hye Sun? It's all about the inside!  Who can ever bear to listen to the screeching of Sarah who's just an ARROGANT B*TCH ? She's really that annoying to listen to. Most of the time, she just talks NONSENSE and MORE OF IT. Also, her face reveals what she is. She has that very angry disposition which is really that annoying.  It doesn't take a genius to figure this out. Hye Sun may not be pretty (at least for me) but has a very good disposition and charming appeal. She is very warm and friendly towards people. You might want to notice her humility in receiving her excellence in acting award. Maybe, what makes Hye Sun way more appealing than Sarah is this - she has her humility....

Fact Check: Noynoy Not Being Well Is Just Flu

Apparently, Noynoy Aquino who was absent during his late father's death anniversary only has flu. Here are the very words of Noynoy himself that reveals it's nothing much but flu. So please don't spread rumors that he's probably in a serious condition. He's allowed to give his reasons for his absence.  So, don't sensationalize anything and don't stoop down to the level of Jover Laurio, okay? Also, just ignore Kris Aquino considering she's no longer relevant too!

What Do Antonio Trillanes IV And The 1980s Cartoon Version Of Cobra Commander Have In Common?

I remembered writing a joke where I compared Noynoy Aquino to Emperor Palpatine . Now, it's time to do another joke post comparing Antonio Trillanes IV to the 80s cartoon version of the Cobra Commander. If you're the 80s to 90s kid then you may have watched Sunbow's G.I.Joe TV series (produced by Hasbro and Sunbow Animation) which had a lower quality sequel with DiC after its movie. But if there's one thing that remained consistent in both Sunbow and DiC -- it's that Cobra Commander in those incarnations is a far fetch from the socialist-type of a terrorist he was in the comic books. The cartoon Cobra Commander was more of a Yosemite Sam, Skeletor, or the G1 Megatron (cartoon version) -- hot-tempered, immature, cowardly (but not as much as Starscream who tends to say he doesn't retreat), and quick to call "RETREAT!" whenever things don't go his way. In short, the typical cartoon villain. The 1980s cartoon version of Cobra Commander himself is pr...

Would You Enroll In Professor Trillanes' Class?

The very idea that Antonio Trillanes IV would want to be from Magdalo to Magturo (teacher) can be disastrous. Tomorrow is declared by some University of the Philippines' (UP) students as the National Day of Walkout  then can you imagine if Trillanes himself would become a teacher at the UP in one form or another? Just imagining him become a professor is already dangerous in itself due to his track record from Oakwood to the Senate and up to the time his term is over. I would like to really assume that Trillanes himself may be a closet member of the New People's Army. Who knows maybe he has secretly become Joma Sison's successor. The reason has to be that why is he sometimes seen in rallies while in his best formal suit? Why does he appear at rallies rather than do his jobs? Just imagine if you're sending your child to UP or you're just about to enroll in UP and he may be your first teacher. Chances are he might teach political science or public administration d...

Teachers Who Let Their Students Attend Rallies Should Be Terminated And Blacklisted

I remembered I wrote about Risa "Fujiko" Hontivirus-Baraquel as a confidence trickster. It's really a shame how she would influence a 13-year old student to join the #YouthResist. I also remembered writing about how  students should be considered as candidates for expulsion for joining activist groups . Now, it's time to consider another problem namely the teachers because there might be teachers too who condone to such stupidity. Senator Bato Dela Rosa has his desire for such teachers to get expelled for encouraging such stupidity. Here's something that really makes more sense than all the highly educated idiots (some of them are even Cum Laude which proves grades aren't everything) have to say according to the  Inquirer  which I pretty much agree: “They should be removed. Parents enter their students there to become professionals, not to fight the government,” Dela Rosa, speaking in Filipino told reporters in an interview when asked about the matter. ...

How Often Are You Willing To Let Your Mind Numb With These Badly Done Tagalog Dubs?

I remembered I didn't mind too much about Tagalog dubs. I even wanted Super Sentai to get aired again with Tagalog dubs. It's also thanks to Tagalog dubs that I use "Akizuki" as part of my pen name. But this time -- I just thought that the dubs are really THAT BAD that it's cringeworthy. I soon started watching Tokusatsu fan subs and later Netflix has shows with decent English subtitles for shows that aren't in English. I admit, most of my favorite shows these days aren't in English. Then I can watch new American movies in the original English too! It's truly cringe-worthy when you know the problems of these stupid dubs. You have the obvious romanticization (adding so many unnecessary words), not really paying attention to the plot points, and not to dubbers either overact or read their lines like zombies. It really was so bad when I was trying to watch even ONE episode of While You Were Sleeping after I watched said series online with decent sub...

Let's Rename "Buwan Ng Wika" Into "Buwan Ng Kulturang Pilipino"

Why do I want to rename Buwan ng Wika (Month of the Language) into Buwan ng Kulturang Pilipino (Month of the Filipino Culture)? It's because of the fact that every Buwan Ng Wika is trying to celebrate the Filipino culture. I remembered writing about turning the month into a huge business opportunity . Now, I'd like to discuss events that would make Buwan Ng Wika more appropriately named as Buwan Ng Kulturang Pilipino. In Tagalog, the word mga is used for anything in plural. But the whole month's emphasis is not just the Tagalog language or all Filipino languages -- it's also on the cultural tradition. So I think it's a bad idea to just speak Tagalog or any native Filipino language more often than not. Instead, it would be a good opportunity for tourism students to learn how to promote Filipino cultural aesthetics to foreigners. The programs would feature different forms of art from different Filipino groups. When there's a food fair you may get Bicol expr...

Can You Imagine Rep. Sarah Elago In The Weekly Question Hour?

Rep. Sarah Elago herself is probably a subject of jokes due to her demeanor. While whoever made that meme of her supposedly saying something she didn't say may need to apologize for misleading people (and I got misled by it too and for that, I apologize). However, I still want to imagine her in another hypothetical scenario. It's time to imagine her as a member of the Philippine Parliament. In this imaginary scenario, she would belong to Team Opposition under Opposition Leader Antonio F. Trillanes IV  and she would be facing Prime Minister Rodrigo R. Duterte and the Government Bloc EVERY WEEK. The job of the Opposition in the Westminister Parliamentary System is not just to criticize the Government Bloc but to also offer better alternatives . That means Opposition Leader Trillanes can't just criticize and criticize without proving anything and he has to offer better alternatives. For instance, Chel Diokno and Florin Hilbay could've not just pointed out Marawi's ...

EDSA-4, Antonio Trillanes IV Day, And Trillanes International Airport

The very idea that Antonio Trillanes IV is the " New Ninoy " is just funny. I've listened to some of the late Ninoy's speeches and at least said guy made some sense which is contrary to Trillanes' rambles. Now, his supporters and other anti-Duterte members of #TindigPilipinas may consider him making their new cover guy. The Marcos Years had Ninoy. The Duterte Years had Trillanes. The difference is that the Marcos Years were indeed a real dictatorship while the Duterte Years aren't. The late Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. declared martial law out of the blue while President Duterte declared martial law because of an urgent need. Martial law is still constitutional in the 1987 Constitution . I thought of the idea that suggesting Trillanes will get "martyred" is something outrageous. Thinking that should something terrible ever happen to him would be automatically President Duterte's fault is a faulty assumption. Just imagine that one day that Trillanes...

The Big Difference Between Chinese Investors And Chinese Invaders

I remembered a bit of the common sense post I did against Inquirer for possibly implying that foreign investors are foreign invaders. According to the Philippine Star , Representative Carlos Zarate and former congressman Neri Colmenares of Bayad Muna now says that the new constitution will supposedly "favor China". Rep. Zarate even dares to say that charter change (or constitutional reform) will allow China to control the Philippine economy. They are still trying to play the same old trick by lying that foreign investors are foreign invaders . Sigh, do they even realize that it's not Chinese investors that have grieved the Philippines during the Scarborough Shoal conflict (which should be their future country) but the Chinese government? Filipinos who have Chinese friends aren't traitors. For all we know, there are Chinese that are sympathizing with Filipinos over the bullying done by their tyrannical government. Do I need to remind people that Chinese investors a...

Students Joining Activist Groups Should Be Considered For EXPULSION In All Schools

I just realized that two days ago, Senator Bato Dela Rosa actually supports the idea of expelling activist students from State Universities and Colleges (SUCs). However, I'd like to give some correction to Senator Dela Rosa with his support. It's good that he supports the idea of kicking out students in SUCs who are part of communist organizations. The limit should not just be towards communist organizations but also in PRIVATE SCHOOLS as well. Do we forget that some private schools have become a home for activists too? Take the Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) for example. It's a very prestigious school yet it's become an activist for the Dilawan socialists. Sadly, it has been involved with partisan politics like when they decided to award Jover Laurio's mediocrity. There are activists here and there and not just in government schools. Private schools too have been infiltrated and not just the ADMU. These activists are people  who simply don't want to fol...

You Can't Claim To Be So Manly If You're Only Good At Insulting Others While Getting Easily Offended Over Almost Everything

It's very easy to claim you're manly, right? I remembered laughing while writing on Fake Filipino masculinity . Now, it's time to write a short to all those trolls (especially those hiding under Anonymous) about how manly they are. It's very easy to brag that there are still many "manly" Filipinos in the Philippines but how manly are they as they claim? Throwing and hurling insults whether in person or on the Internet doesn't make anyone a manly man. Many of them are only using Anonymous rather than pick any suitable Internet name that they want to use. It's so stupid at how many of them are Anonymous yet they want so and so to reveal themselves. So how can they call the person they want unmasked to be a coward while they remain masked themselves? Now, isn't that a bad case of a double standard? They "bravely" hurl insults at others but wait until you decide to finally throw it at them. The other problem that some of them share is th...

What Reason Does Sarah Elago Of Kayabangan Party-List Have For Being Absent In The Most Recent Senate Hearing?

I remembered how I called Sarah Elago of Kabataan Party-List (Youth Party-List) as a delusional, self-entitled spoiled brat . Now, she has been noted to be absent from the latest Senate Hearing as called by Senator Bato Dela Rosa. Here's an excerpt from the Philippine News Agency : MANILA -- A ranking official of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF ELCAC) on Wednesday expressed disappointment over the absence of Kabataan Party-list Rep. Sarah Elago at a Senate hearing convened to look into the cases of minors who reportedly went missing shortly after being allegedly recruited by militant group Anakbayan. "We were disappointed with the absence of Rep. Sarah Elago during the Senate hearing called by Senator (Ronald) Dela Rosa. We wanted her to explain how her organization, as well as the other Kamatayan (Makabayan) bloc organizations mentioned by the crying parents like Bayan Muna, are being patriotic (Makabayan) by causing the disappearance o...

Is Inquirer Suggesting That Foreign Investors Are Foreign Invaders?

Here's a screenshot of the Philippine Daily Inquirer's latest headlines. They went all the way with " Heil Digong " to this one. They wrote in their headlines, "Chinese Investors Target 3 PH Islands" and further write that it raises national concerns. This is really stupid because they are almost telling their readers that foreign investors are foreign invaders . You don't have to get a degree in economics or any commerce-related courses in order to understand that foreign investors aren't foreign invaders. Just study the history of first world countries and you'll realize that they progressed by accepting foreign investors as part of their local economy. The misleading headlines should have said, "Chinese investors doing business in Three Philippine Islands" and not what it says. Inquirer can go ahead and claim to have balanced news (just like ABiaS-CBN claims that they're not siding with anyone but actions speak louder than wo...

Weekly Question Hour Would Really Change Philippine Politics

I remembered writing a couple of posts related to the Weekly Question Hour. A stupid 4Ps-obsessed old man (who hypocritically lives in Australia) believes that the Philippine media is more than enough than weekly questioning. But the question is, does this stupid old man even realize the biases of the media? Then again he's biased and won't believe any sources if they weren't owned by his beloved fellow Dilawans. He says Question and Answer (Q & A) won't work in the Philippines in contrast to the Philippines' privately-owned media. Let's shoot down his stupidity with common sense. Just because he's an old man with a math degree from a prestigious university doesn't mean he's infallible. Worse, a fat Murican that Peter Griffin even dares to say that weekly questioning will make it worse. Let's consider the system of innovation and quality control. Weekly evaluation is being used to make sure that every step of the way works. It's like i...

The Cory Aquino Hype Is Still Irrelevant On Her Tenth Death Anniversary

Okay, before you think I'm endorsing Imelda R. Marcos -- I'm not! Imelda is just as guilty of necropolitics. The same goes for Cory Cojuangco-Aquino. Her husband Ninoy Aquino died and she became president. She died and her only son Noynoy Aquino became president. It was ten years since Cory died last 2009 -- which promoted Noynoy to run for president last 2010. But now, the whole Cory hype has died out this 2010. So what really happened? The promise for progress has not been there. You can think that rather than end the long-state protectionism that the 1973 Constitution continued -- the 1987 Constitution was "democratically" installed chose not to. The result of the "promised progress" since 1987 hasn't even arrived. That's why former president Fidel V. Ramos wanted to install a new constitution. Unfortunately, the Yellows did succeed in using the fear of the unknown to stop Ramos' rather daring move. Ramos saw that the constitution was def...

So What If Something Or Even Someone Isn't "Purely" Filipino?

Does this picture tell you anything? You have Jollibee that's owned by a Filipino of CHINESE descent (and yes, this means that Filipinos have the right to protest against China's bullying while having Chinese friends who support their cause). The latest endorser for Jollibee is a half-Filipino, half-Australian stunning looker named Catriona Eloisa Magnayon Gray. Does that make the ad or sponsorship any less Filipino? I don't think so because for one these Filipino-Chinese businesses are still FILIPINO-OWNED and Catriona herself was rightfully crowned as Miss Philippines during her time. Is Jollibee owned by a Chinese national or a Filipino national of Chinese descent? It's still Filipino-owned even if Tony Tancaktiong is of Chinese descent yet he's a Filipino by heart. But it seems for a certain group of Filipinos -- they must adhere to their Filipino cultural and racial "purity" at all costs. A simple study of Filipino history and anthropology will p...
