Do You Remember The Chiong Sisters Case?

The recent renewal of Antonio Sanchez's contract with Boysen now raises another issue namely the Chiong Sisters controversy around yesterday which I didn't know started to resurface last year. It was in 1999 when I was still that typical angry delinquent of a high school student. I remembered watching The Calvento Files with the late Tony Calvento who died two years ago. I remembered the dramatization which had Nino Muhlach act as Francisco Juan "Paco" G. Larranaga. Muhlach would later regret his misdeed and admitted that he was "just doing his job" as ABiaS-CBN would have told him. I never realized that there were inconsistencies such as the one-sidedness of the late Judge Martin Ocampo who ended up committing suicide. Later, there were friends who testified (and also the teachers in Manila) that Paco could've not been in Cebu City at the time of the incident. Paco was in Manila the whole time. How can Paco be in two places at the same time? I just didn't consider those back then and for a long time since I'm no criminologist myself!

I still find this video is questionable especially when some want to say that Debbie Chiong-Sia is really Jacqueline. Some people TRUTHFULLY say that the woman who is supposedly Marijoy is actually the DAUGHTER-IN-LAW of Thelma Chiong named Amelie Arquilliano. Amelie may have certain facial resemblances BUT you can tell she's too young to be a woman in her 40s. The sister-in-law does have a resemblance with Marijoy in some way but certain differences easily tell them apart. Also, the Inquirer article that said that there are three sons and two daughters may need to retract their statement that it was a typographical error. Debbie doesn't look like a woman in her 40s either which would be Jacqueline's age if she were really alive. Debbie has a more pointed chin than her older sister Jacqueline. The Chiong Sisters (if they are even still alive since the bodies are now questionable) would be in their 40s.

Those seeking justice for Paco should avoid using falsified evidence because it's what put him wrongly into prison to start with. The picture of the little girl is Debbie now. If they want to prove the sisters alive then they better present better proof since Debbie is just Jacqueline's split copy with a few physical differences. The pictures displayed were NOT from Canada but from Cebu City. Fortunately, we've got batchmates of Amelie and Debbie to testify that the two are NOT Marijoy and Jacqueline. Again, we need REAL evidence that the two sisters are alive in CANADA. From what I heard, only the eldest son is in Canada too. I don't think they even dared to return home to attend the weddings of two of their siblings if they ever did fake their deaths. Now, that would be too risky. If they were truly dead then we at least need some real evidence to prove that they're indeed dead.

There was the movie Jacqueline Comes Home that was released a year ago. However, people were told to consider watching Give Up Tomorrow which was told on the side of Paco himself. It turned out that from watching the film - there were several inconsistencies regarding the trial. The film was produced by VIVA Films a company that was also responsible for two controversial films - the Flor Contemplacion Story (where her twin sons starred as themselves) and the Vizconde Massacre Story. The Flor story tried to make a guilty woman innocent. It turns out that Hubert Webb wasn't even involved in said case! The one-sidedness of VIVA Films puts them into more scrutiny in the public eye for this reason. The Flor story had several inconsistencies - how did they know that Flor was really tortured and her lawyer was denied? The maids who claimed to be witnesses were dismissed because of several inconsistencies like the bosses were talking in Mandarin and not English when they were discussing something. Are the people at VIVA Films working for communist organizations like Migraine International and Bayad Muna? They did manage to sell considering that many of the favorite sources of point missing trolls are pelikulas, komiks, and teleseryes made by biased mainstream media.

The documentary also presented several inconsistencies in the case. Why were Paco's friends who were with him in Manila just silenced which I think had no examination of evidence? Why would Thelma be so suddenly generous to Davidson Rusia who I heard wasn't even an associate of Paco and the other six alleged rapists and murderers? Rusia was even freed rather than being given a lighter sentence for his crime (if ever he was really involved) after pleading guilty. Reports say that Davidson was most likely tortured to give fake evidence. Just because a person doesn't hold a grudge doesn't mean that they would automatically turn generous to that person. A person who may not be holding grudges or seeking revenge still has trust issues with the offender. Prisoners who plead guilty don't get dismissed immediately - they usually just serve lighter sentences as the law provides!

The Chiongs really had no power? It turned out that during the term of Joseph Estrada - Cheryl Jimenea (the sister of Thelma) was the presidential secretary of said person. What was also revealed in the said documentary was that Thelma herself supposedly had connections to a Supreme Court judge. She's even related to Hilarious Davide by the virtue of marriage with her relative Virginia Jimenea Perez. It looks like it was manipulated. I even heard that maybe the corpse assumed to be Marijoy was not Marijoy. If Jacqueline is still missing then could she be still alive living under a different identity or even a different surname by now? The clues are just so mind-boggling!

I also remembered how the documentary showed the one-sidedness of the case. I also want to wonder how Thelma can be laughing like that while recalling a tragedy that supposedly happened? If I were losing any loved one or friend to a rape-slay - I don't think I would laugh like she did here. This really does give me the creeps more than a horror movie would. Not to mention, Rusia was also getting presents from Thelma herself. One should consider that's indeed very creepy.

Hmmm... this is really suspicious now, isn't it? I pray to God that justice will be upheld (just like the death of Richard Y. Santillan) with whatever the truth may be about the Chiong sisters.
