Correcting That Huge Misconception About Parliamentary's No Term Limits As Staying In Office Forever

Well, the Yellowtards indeed have a history of fear-mongering, don't they? Did these guys do any research or are they fearing them and their kind will be forced to straighten up in a Parliamentary setting? So what does it mean that a parliamentary form of government will have no term limits? Did it mean that would have either Fidel V. Ramos or Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo succeeded that they would forever be in power? Vocabulary.com  defines a term of office as, "the term during which some position is held". Encylopedia.com defines a term limit as, "a rule that prevents government officials from serving for more than a specified number of terms". What does it mean that a parliamentary has no term limits? While elections do happen within a time interval -- it means that a person can serve several terms for as long as he or she is qualified. If some Dilawans wanted to push through another term under former president Noynoy Aquino -- didn't they consider that a ...

Can Tito Sotto Survive In The Parliamentary System?

I really have to marvel at how STUPID Senate President Tito Sotto is. But let's see how he'd fare in a parliamentary government? I don't care what position he will get whether he would be a Member of the Parliament or the next Speaker of the House -- I really can't imagine him playing Aquaman with the Philippine Parliament. Just hearing him talk about the fishes from the Philippines and China is just stupid. Any fish supposedly from China caught in Philippine territory belong to Filipinos. Any fish supposedly from Philippine territory caught in Chinese territory belong to Chinese. The issue is more about ZONAL regulation than where the fish comes from. I can't forget how Sotto himself just displays his AMAZING STUPIDITY. Do you remember that stupid libel clause that he proposed in the anti-cybercrime law? I wonder has he even thought where are we going to lock people up if everyone shared it? What if there was no damage? There should be a case-to-case scenario to...

Kris Aquino Could've Died For Swimming While There's Lightning In The Sky

Whatever bad happens to Kris Aquino seems to be foreshadowing more of the fall of the Dilawans, isn't it? Just recently, an incident that reveals that she was nearly struck by lightning . I find the whole incident WTF for this reason. Water is a conductor of electricity and lightning is electricity. Anybody who has passed through high school physics should know that! She may have had graduated from a prestigious school but she sure lacks common sense, doesn't she?  This incident with Kris shows why the following simple guidelines is a must. I remembered writing about how can Filipinos expect progress if many of them don't even want to follow simple guidelines . The guidelines are not there to be repressive. I still remember that very stupid fat man who even dared to say that he would kill himself if he has to follow rules . What that very stupid fat man doesn't see is that guidelines are there to keep people safe. Singapore has been known to be safe in spite of it...

The Idiocy Of Filipino Commies Hating Capitalism While Enjoying Its Products

Isn't that funny? Here's a picture of Filipino Communist groups who go against any agenda for economic liberalization, the desire to overthrow capitalism (which is private ownership of businesses), and yet they are found using an Apple laptop which is a product of guess what? Socialism? No, it's a product of CAPITALISM! This reminds me also of the time I got into argument with Peke Aeta of the now empty Fliptards blog that he hates capitalism, hates businessmen yet what in the world is he doing in Google which is a product of capitalism? Is the contradiction surprising? Not if you know that Jose Maria Sison the founder of the New People's Army (NPA) is living in the Netherlands . Netherlands is an OPEN ECONOMY, FEDERAL, PARLIAMENTARY country and it's just like that stupid 4Ps-obsessed, 1987 Constitution loving fool of an old man who is ironically living in Australia. He lives in Australia while hating the idea that the Philippines should go federal-parliamentary ...

Did PNoy Pridists Forget Noynoy Too Has An Awkward Handshake?

Image Source The question is, "This is even news?" Awkward moments happen to ANYONE and not just President Rodrigo R. Duterte. CRappler having been a journalism organization should be more focused on bigger details and not on something like this. Both Filipino President Duterte and Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long had an awkward moment. It happens but it's not a big deal! It's not like what happened to the Indian politician Surendra Furtado  whose attention-seeking campaign went wrong and nearly endangered people riding the weed cutter. And now...  Well, did they even forget that Noynoy Aquino too had an awkward moment too? Not that it's newsworthy either. However, the Dilawans do have a fine case of selective outrage and selective justice such as fact-checking only when it's convenient for them, right?

Basaan Festival Amid Water Crisis Shows The SCREWED-UP PRIORITIES Of People Participating In It

"We cannot do away with tradition." has always been a typical excuse for Filipinos who love to use their identity to enjoy their blunder . Now, the recent Manila Water Crisis has hit and yet they have the nerve to continue celebrating the Basaan (dousing of water) Festival in Manila. Isn't it common sense that if there's a water crisis then you must SAVE WATER? If they must celebrate then they could do without wasting much water during the event! But as said the festivals must go on the way they are, right? This reminds me of the stupidity of one of General Luna's men namely  Tomas Mascardo . It was he who decided that attending the town fiesta was more important than the ongoing war.  They even decided to have firetrucks waste precious water all in the name of tradition. What if a FIRE hit that day? Would they still want to hold the Basaan Festival? Instead, it had to go on with people having to get wet all in the name of tradition . I guess people will have ...

Trillanes' Talk Ng Talk Mobile Plan Won't Sell In The Parliamentary System

I remembered how I wrote a joke on whether or not you'd avail of Antonio Trillanes IV's mobile plan . Can you imagine him selling his mobile plan in a parliamentary system especially if he has to face the weekly question hour ? Bad news for him is that it won't work for this reason. Not especially if you know how the parliamentary system's debate process actually works. Here's a sample diagram of a debate I found from Taiwan Debate Open . You can see the flow of the format between the majority and minority floors. Let's assume that we have Prime Minister Rodrigo R. Duterte, Deputy Prime Minister Leni Loud Robredo, Liberal Party and PDP Laban as the majority blocs, and then the rest as the Minority Bloc. Now let's imagine Antonio Trillanes IV is the Opposition Leader , Grace Poe-Llamanzares is the Deputy Opposition Leader for a start. Then maybe we can have Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as the Speaker of the House in this imagined scenario. The rule goes th...

Can Leni Loud Robredo Really Stand Up Against China's Aggression?

Here's a recent meme from Thinking Millenials or better renamed as Unthinking Millenials  want to emphasize. They want to emphasize that if President Rodrigo R. Duterte can't stand up for the Filipino people against China then a woman will. However, the big question that the need to answer is, "Can Leni Loud Robredo really stand up against China's aggression?" to be followed up by, "How does she intend to stand up against it?" I don't deny that President Duterte is indeed tactless but do they forget that Leni Loud herself is also tactless? Do you remember that taho-throwing incident done by a stupid Chinese lady where she said something that could have launched a war? President Duterte's silence on that matter doesn't mean that he approved of what the stupid Chinese lady did. Unfortunately, many Filipinos tend to suffer from the fallacy where they assume that silence means yes. However, such silence may also mean the person is still in ...

Let's Just Stop With The Duterte VS. Aquino Dichotomy And Focus On Constitutional Reform

Just because a person criticizes President Duterte doesn't make one a Dilawan. Just because a person criticizes Noynoy Aquino doesn't make one a Dutertard. Unfortunately, the presidential system is so full of idiots. There's a fine line between being a Duterte supporter and a Dutertard . Becoming a Dutertard is just as stupid as becoming a Noytard. It's just like that stupid senile 4Ps-obsessed old man who's a Noytard (but he's in denial) who only looks at the bad that President Duterte does and over-praises Noynoy as if the latter made no mistake. In truth, we can't deny that Noynoy did make important economic amendments in spite of the massive incompetence of his appointees. We can't deny that President Duterte has good aims but tends to be tactless and dirty-mouthed. It's stupid to think that the call for Constitutional Reform to federal-parliamentary with free trade solely revolves around President Duterte. If there's any real reason why t...

Will ABiaS-CBN Die Any Time Soon?

Nobody won't be in power, forever, right? Do you remember what happened to both the late Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. and Joseph Ejercito Estrada? Both were toppled down by two EDSA revolutions. ABiaS-CBN itself had a long-standing share ever since it was rightfully returned to the Lopezes after the Marcos Years by the late Corazon C. Aquino. Ever since then, the network itself has remained in power since it was returned. I remembered how the network itself had dominated the minds of Filipinos with   MIND-NUMBING SHOWS during the 1990s up to present with shows like Deal or No Deal, Kris TV, and a whole series of TV dramas that go on and on with the plot going nowhere. You can also have their sensationalist news . Do you remember when Noli De Castro loves to present nonsense news such as reports of stuff like the aswang when it's only a mythical creature? Now, ABiaS-CBN is already in the threat of not getting its franchise renewed by March 20, 2020 .  They can tag #DefendPress...

June 12, 1898 Proves That Appealing To Hundreds Of Years Is A Fallacy

Today may not be the official Independence Day but it can still be celebrated that hundreds of years ago, the Philippines was finally liberated from Spanish rule. Now, with that crazy 4Ps-obsessed old man who just loves the 1987 Constitution as the "best constitution" in the world also argues that the Philippines must stick to presidential-unitary because it has hundreds of years experience in it and zero in parliamentary-federal . Worse, he even claims that federalism means several constitutions under one constitution and that the Philippines may have 17 constitutions due to having 17 drafts for a new constitution. That stupid old man who thinks he's so wise (just because he's an old man with a Math degree) must be decaying faster than he thinks. With his love for hundreds of years argument -- then it's time to throw it back at him again. Does he really even realize that before a hundred years that it always starts with ZERO? The Philippines was once a colony...

The Dilawans Can Only Rise From The Grave By Supporting And Advocating Genuine Socio-Economic Reforms

The demise of the Liberal Party's significance was because of this -- they FAILED to give any support for genuine socio-economic reforms. There's nothing wrong with criticizing President Duterte but the problem lies with their lack of giving better alternatives. Do you remember the whole Marawi criticism done by Chel Diokno ? Diokno could've done better not just by raising the issue but also by giving better alternatives to get the rehabilitation project done. Then you have the #OtsoDiretso who dared President Duterte to fulfill his hyperbole -- did they forget that Noynoy Aquino also has a hyperbole to fulfill ? Worse, Bam Aquino, Florin Hilbay, and Mar Roxas have gone as far as to throw their once brilliant minds out of the window long ago. Just imagine how their education could've helped Filipinos. Instead, Bam, Hilbay, and Roxas have been too focused on band-aid solutions when they are supposedly capable of giving better solutions. What do the Dilawans need t...

Obsession With "Penoy Prayd!" Isn't Compatible With Economic Development

Filipinos are just like every other race or nationality -- they have the choice to evolve or not to evolve into better persons. Now, I just heard that the next Miss Philippines for 2019 is half-Palestinian and two previous Miss Philippines I've known were half-white. Prepare the blasting comments about why no "Pure-pino" (a slang for pure Filipino) woman was sent to the Miss Philippines, anyone? Then we have an obsession with Pinoy racial purity as if there are still Pure-pinos. Filipinos should be considered more of  nationality than a race. Maybe, brown-skinned Filipinos should simply be labeled as brown Filipinos, right? It's with all that in mind that I decided to write about how Penoy Prayd (notice I love to misspell it on purpose) is not compatible with any economic development for the Philippines. The idea of maintaining Filipino racial purity in the Philippines can be very devastating to the economy. Let's take a look at the local investors of the Philip...

Can You Imagine If Prime Minister Duterte And Opposition Leader Trillanes Faced Off Against Each Other EVERY WEEK?

I did mention a while ago on whether or not you  Antonio F. Trillanes IV can really survive the weekly question hour . The problem of the presidential system is that there's hardly any defined majority bloc vs. minority bloc. The parliamentary system defines it well when people vote members by parties rather than by persons. A good example is that the senatorial elections could have had #OtsoDiretso as one bloc and PDP-Laban as another block. Now, it's time to imagine a scenario of what if Trillanes had to debate against President Rodrigo R. Duterte every week and it's broadcasted for every Filipino to see live on TV. Let's imagine Trillanes as the Opposition Leader and Duterte as the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Duterte must answer to the charges of Opposition Leader Trillanes. As mentioned some time ago -- all Trillanes does is Talk Ng Talk  without proving anything. Now, just imagine Trillanes as a very corrupt Opposition Leader. He starts to manufacture eviden...

Presidential System Is Nothing More Than CARTOON POLITICS

The Dilawans' regime may be over, not one single member of #OtsoDiretso won the Senate seats but pro-Constitutional reform Filipinos still have to contend with Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. and Grace Poe-Llamanzares. Before they shout, "Just change the system but not the people." -- it's best to ask ourselves what caused the Philippines to be stuck in CARTOON POLITICS from 1987 up to present? What do I mean by cartoon politics? The meme above shows it all that you the cartoon character you always watch on TV (Nobita) became the president of the Philippines after 20+ years (Noynoy). But Noynoy is merely a symptom of a much bigger problem namely the PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM. The problem of the presidential system relies on popularity driven democracies . Democracy is supposedly defined as a government of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE and for the PEOPLE and NOT a government that's for the majority, by the majority, and of the majority. To say that democracy is only ...

"Manly" Filipinos Opposing Military Training Are Self-Contradictory

I'm always laughing at how some Filipinos claim how "manly" they are but whine at the prospect of the return of military training for able-bodied Filipinos. You can always claim to be manly but you can't fight your own battles. Ever noticed that bullies usually go in groups because their leaders usually can't fight alone? Now, what makes me laugh even more is how you've got these activists who are going against the revival of mandatory Reserved Officers Training Corps with preposterous claims (such as the picture above). Hmmm, I thought these guys were manly as they claim. They just suffer from a fake manliness that's probably even worse than Antonio Trillanes IV's. It makes me laugh also at how some of these "manly" Filipinos call K-Pop guys as "faggots" but did they ever bother to do research that South Korea has MANDATORY military training ? Have they really tried watching able-bodied South Koreans getting their two-year ...

Can Antonio Trillanes IV Survive The Weekly Question Hour?

Why is there much fear-mongering at the idea of the Philippines going from presidential to parliamentary? It's because the parliamentary setting has many features that any lover of the presidential system wouldn't like such as the weekly question hour. Some of the supporters of these "Defend the 1987 Constitution!" are not surprisingly defenders of Antonio F. Trillanes IV. But can you imagine what if he were faced with the Weekly Question Hour? Whether he's in the Opposition (non-majority members) or the Majority Bloc -- it won't sit well for especially for someone who's got a reputation like Trillanes. Do you remember the number of times Trillanes just opens his mouth but NEVER proves anything? The more I listen to him -- the more I wish the Philippines were under a parliamentary setting. Can you imagine if President Rodrigo R. Duterte were Prime Minister Duterte and he was either the Opposition Leader or just part of the Opposition? He would have t...
