Would You Watch "A Thousand Cuts: The Maria Ressa Story" Starring Agot Isidro?

GRPsupport had written a review on A Thousand Cuts just recently. Although I'm actually still appalled at its webmaster benign0's lack of economic common sense - I do read some of their articles to get some inspiration. We could consider a new idea from the "documentary" A Thousand Cuts which should give us a new movie called A Thousand Cuts: The Maria Ressa Story by VIVA Films. I suggested that Coconuts Martin should play as Antonio Trillanes IV. Now, it's time to suggest that Agot Isidro should play Maria Ressa in my imagined film.

The review by GRPsupport had revealed the pathetic stupidity of the film. Knowing VIVA Films then you can expect an exaggeration. Until now, I can't forget the stupidity of The Flor Contemplacion Story where she was painted as a heroine instead of the truth that she was a guilty culprit. The movie Jacqueline Comes Home was already met with flak because of the documentary Giving Up Tomorrow which told the real truth about Paco Larranaga. VIVA's The Flor Contemplacion Story has been so easily hailed as a masterpiece that will move anyone to tears if they didn't know the truth about Flor. Some people even use it as a valid source, right?

This is how I imagine the movie will go. We will see Maria Ressa in a torture chamber when she never did. Maybe, Jim Paredes will diabolically act as Rodrigo R. Duterte in the film if he wants to have a performance. Maybe, Jover Laurio will appear as herself. Don't forget that Liza Soberano herself is a near split-copy of Risa Hontiveros. Maybe, we can also have Coconuts play as Trillanes after he's done filming Trillanes: Bayani Ng Oakwood. The movie may end up with a dialogue of her saying, "I'm fighting for press freedom!" Maybe, we will also see scenes of Ressa receiving her international awards. Maybe, we might be fortunate enough to see Agot play the part so well it might move gullible people to tears. She would be portrayed as a martyr. Hmmm, I wonder who will play Wilfredo Keng? Wouldn't that actually equal another lawsuit then?

I would really wish the film will happen. It would be fun to see VIVA Films try another wrong move as if their first BS biofilm The Flor Contemplacion Story wasn't enough. They should go ahead and film it. Maybe, they can proceed to enter it into the Imperial Manila Film Festival or make it a new entry after 2020 ends. Either way, I'd love to see this film become a reality.
