Maria Ressa can keep getting all the awards she wants. Honestly, I don't care anymore especially if it's from the clueless Western media. Though one "award" that Ressa got that I did care about was the Sackur Punch Award - one that she got on BBC HARDtalk. Ressa's supporters can keep gloating about the awards she gets from arrogant Westerners - it's arrogant people giving awards to each other. I would say keep letting them give awards to each other, right? Now, this reminds me of how Ressa has shown some partisanism in regard to how Rappler operates. There are also questionable figures such as why I think Ressa needs to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics. The wedding of Jover Laurio a few years ago also had Ressa BLATANTLY admitting her side - she served as a principal sponsor for the writer of Pinoy Ako Blog which is just plain mediocrity. Come on, she's pretty substandard even if she's just another blogger. A nobody blogger can still be nobody and take good care not to write like she does!

I think the next awardees by the Western liberal organizations should go beyond Ressa. Ressa already has her awards. Now, it looks like the Nobel Foundation should give Trillanes what I'd call a long overdue Nobel Peace Prize. Another possible winner should be Jover herself as her blog is praised by the "opposition" for being a daring work. Maybe, we can also nominate Robredo herself due to her free food giving to the poor. I feel that awarding Ressa is... is that the best the Western liberals can do to slap the Duterte Administration? They need to try harder than that than just Ressa who herself is still able to post bail and even fly abroad for her award.
Right now, the award-winning bodies can give all their awards. I really don't care anymore. Besides, I think Ressa will probably still face more charges even if the Yellowtards will win the election. We can all just let them enjoy their blunder. Ressa is shooting herself at the foot with her statements so why even protesting about her awards?
