I'm amazed that pasaway "thought leaders" like Jover Laurio of Pignoy Ako Blog and Gerry Cacanindin are now overbloating both Maria Leonor "Leni Loud" Gerona Robredo and Maria Angelita Ressa's recent selfie a few days ago. I could remember writing about why we shouldn't even bother to recall Ressa's Nobel Peace Prize ONE BIT. I had a good laugh watching Ressa's interview on BBC HARDtalk when Stephen Sackur launched several jabs against her arguments. Now, Ressa's alliance with Leni Loud makes me think that hopefully (and I mean it) that Leni Loud herself will be the next Nobel Peace Prize awardee. Before that, Ressa needs to get nominated for a Nobel Prize in physics because of her amazing claim concerning 4,000 vehicles in Bicol.
I think everything regarding Ressa and the Kakampinks is becoming a series of self-defeating arguments. Ressa winning the Nobel Peace Prize is a self-defeating argument. The reason is that Rappler once had an article asking if the award already lost its prestige. Hmmm... why didn't Ressa have that article taken down or firing the writer? Why did she allow it to be published? Isn't that a self-defeating argument? What's funnier is that the Kakampinks are already acting like as if Leni Loud will get a Nobel Peace Prize for being a peaceful vice president in the midst of a tyrant, right?
Here's what - I don't care if Leni Loud herself gets the Nobel Peace Prize. The award already lost its prestige many years ago. Ressa's win further proves that the Nobel Peace Prize has lost its prestige. Ressa's awards come from people who think like her. It's no surprise that the Democrats of the United States of America (USA) and the Europoean Union (EU) support her. It's all because they have the same liberal ideologies. Leni Loud is no different. I wouldn't be surprised if Leni Loud gets the Nobel Peace Prize. Let Leni Loud have it. Pleaes don't petition to have it revoked either. The Nobel Foundation has become a joke even before Ressa won her award. So let the joke that's Leni Loud get a joke of an award for all I care.
