Kim Chiu's Win At The Seoul International Drama Awards 2024 Means NOTHING Unless ABiaS-CBN Supports Important Constitutional Reforms

First, I'd like to say congratulations to Kim Chiu even if I don't like ABiaS-CBN. I still think both the late Noynoy Aquino and former president Rodrigo R. Duterte did the RIGHT THING about the ABiaS-CBN franchise. It's time for that network to STOP GETTING BABIED! It's typical for Filipinos to scream PENOY PRAYD (though Kim Chiu is a Chinese Filipino and some Filipinos are still racist) whenever a Filipino makes it big ABROAD. However, it's also very typical for Filipinos to cry foul whenever talks about allowing foreign investors to own 100% of their SHARES or to treat them like INVADERS. I wouldn't be surprised if some morons think the Philippines is now "invading" South Korea!

I wrote about Shaina Garcia Magdayao joining the Busan Festival. Is there anything wrong with that? ABiaS-CBN has every right to join it. However, the problem still exists in ABiaS-CBN's MASSIVE FAILURE OF THE MIND. They should be thankful that Duterte didn't completely SHUT THEM DOWN. If anything, history has shown that ABiaS-CBN with OTHER STATIONS were SHUT DOWN. ABiaS-CBN still has its business permit. Why are they playing the victim when they weren't the only network that got shut down by the Marcos Empire's imperial decree? 

The problem that ABiaS-CBN has is that it still defends the 1987 Constipation of the Philippines. Just because the 1987 Constipation isn't the worst -- doesn't mean it's the best in da world! ABiaS-CBN (and in extension, Rappler) wouldn't be into the trouble they got into -- if it wasn't for the equity restrictions in the 1987 Constipation. Maria Ressa can be an American citizen all she wants and run Rappler as a Filipino company. If Gabby Lopez was ever an American citizen -- why should that be a problem? Both networks could've benefited from legalized foreign funding if it wasn't for the 1987 Constipation of the Philippines. ABiaS-CBN and Rappler should've supported constitutional reform, voiced what needs to be changed, and BENEFIT from it. 

ABiaS-CBN stars win abroad or get chosen abroad is proof of room for evolution. I disagree with Richard "Lucifer" Hoydurian's statement that teleseryes are at par with K-Dramas. Did he watch KDramas thinking that Angel Locsin Colmenares-Arce and Shaina Magdayao were in them? Let's face it Jollibee is already investing around the world. Filipinos have every room to evolve. The problem isn't the Filipino BUT the system that runs Filipinos. ABiaS-CBN has lived too long with the Penoy Prayd mentality going on. It's really more than time for ABiaS-CBN to stop living in that mentality and support BADLY NEEDED constitutional reforms.
