ABiaS-CBN Has Participated In The #BusanInternationalFilmFestival Since 2022, SO WHAT?!

After breaking into some trolling with that idiot Benign0 (who should've learned from Australia to talk how Filipinos can improve) - I'm looking at this update. It's ABiaS-CBN joining the Busan International Film Festival 2023. It's because Lav Diaz has his film Essentials of the Lake which was in 2023. The film is most likely ABiaS-CBN being vindictive. Is Diaz trying to make the same move with the movie A Dangerous Life (and I bet he might end up directing A Dangerous Life 2 which might end up getting rated COMEDY). There was a 2022 film called When the Waves Are Gone which had Shaina Garcia Magdayao's ex-boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz (resulting in those lockdown jokes again).

Yes, events are back again as the Legacy Virus has become endemic. Some people still advise to wear masks in enclosed spaces. Now, we have the star-studded cast which has various South Korean celebrities. There was participation also last October 10, 2022, which is also Suzy Bae's birthday. This just reminds me of the one thing that the world should at least be aware of. It's all about how ABiaS-CBN reacted in contrast to the South Korean celebrities last 2020.

This was one of the biggest events that happened last 2020. South Korean celebrities were giving their floods of donations. The list there is just so partial. The flooded rants were just oh-so-funny. Sure, I'll admit that I find most of the local Filipino actresses prettier. I'm not going to joke if I say that I find Liza Soberano prettier than Suzy Bae or Shaina prettier than Jin A Nana. However, what if I say that I'm more than willing to rewatch any K-Drama with Shin Hye Sun who's unattractive (and she does look somewhat like Sarah Elgago of Kayabangan Partylist) over any long-winded drama Shaina stars in. Sure, Shaina's really pretty but Hye Sun has the bigger, better heart (and mind).

Even worse, ABiaS-CBN made it crystal clear their franchise renewal is more important than beating the Legacy Virus. I even want to raise the question (EVEN MORE) why in the world wasn't the franchise renewed during the reign of the late Noynoy Aquino? I guess what Rigoberto Tiglao wrote may have made so much sense. It took Noynoy's 2014 incident to simply give Duterte an edge. I can't be sure what Noynoy's motives were during that time. I even wonder if Noynoy was washing his hands so everybody would forget that he too played that part? If they were talking about life-saving news then think how often has ABiaS-CBN been ANTI-REFORM. It has resulted in what I dare call ABiaS-CBN's failure of the mind. Many reforms could've allowed ABiaS-CBN to be better. One of these benefits they could've gotten was foreign funding. Faster Internet would mean that they can operate without government franchises. In short, they fought against the very reforms that could've benefited them.

The quality between ABiaS-CBN teleseryes and K-Dramas can't be denied. Lucifer Hoydurian himself must be daydreaming when he said ABiaS-CBN teleseryes are at par with K-Dramas. I wonder if he was watching K-Dramas thinking that Jeon Yeo Bin is Angel Locsin Colmenares-Arce and Jin A Nana was Shaina? Like WUT? Angel is sexier and darker while Yeo Bin is flatter and whiter. Nana may look like Shaina but the former has blatant Korean features that will easily give her off. Maybe, Hoydurian himself was probably watching K-Dramas and may have even thought Hye Sun was ElGAGO? Come on, ElGAGO is dark-skinned while Hye Sun has fairer skin and a WIDER FACE.

If ABiaS-CBN still continues to oppose BADLY NEEDED REFORMS then attending the event is meaningless. It's because of the lousy 100% Pinoy mass media-only law that got them off the air in the first place. They even opposed constitutional reform back then. I could even compare ABiaS-CBN to a person who engages in unhealthy habits and complains about why he or she is frequently sick. This would be the kind of person who would refuse the doctor's advice and then complain why he or she isn't feeling better. ABiaS-CBN really has constantly made a fool out of itself. Going to Busan to attend the film festival isn't something to celebrate unless they learn from the competition and support reforms that could BENEFIT THEM TOO.
