First-World Countries Will NOT Wait For Filipinos To Be Ready For Constitutional Reform!

It's always the question of System Change or Culture Change, right? It's really THAT UPSETTING that Benign0 of Get Real Philippines  ONLY WHINES in many of his posts. His recent post " The world will not wait for the Philippines to recover from COVID-19 " is really something. All he does is mention about how the Philippines isn't ready. Yet, the guy has always shown his IGNORANCE about the need for a REAL system change. It's always argued by people that changing the system without changing the people first is useless. However, systems matter over people since it's the system that dictates where everything goes . Those who are complaining that President Rodrigo R. Duterte hasn't fixed much or former president Noynoy Aquino hasn't fixed much fail to see that it's the SYSTEM. Both former presidents Fidel V. Ramos and Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo wanted to fix the system but was thwarted by ignorance. Yes, the long-crippling problem is that Filipinos ke...

#SONA2020 Under Roxas-Trillanes Administration

It's really something that Jover Laurio only derails President Rodrigo R. Duterte. It's one thing to criticize the president for his shortcomings. It's another to provide no useful alternatives. Now, it's time to really consider another Roxas-Trillanes Administration joke after asking if the Philippines can survive COVID-19 under the two of them . Can the Philippines even exist after 2016 if these two won? Well, let's just imagine that 2016 came and now it's time for the SONA under President Mar Roxas with Vice President Trillanes.  Chances are the SONA that would really cover Roxas' famous statements. Here are some statements you'd expect to hear from President Roxas: "Davao you must understand that your mayor is a Duterte and that I am a Roxas." "Well at least, you are all still alive, right?" "I know where there is COVID-19. You can find it in Davao. You can find it there. Let me bring you there!" "You are already le...

Let The Pasaways Rally And LET THEM ROT

Well, it's really weird logic by the wokes that rallies are okay in the midst of the pandemic. I even wonder are they really concerned about the stranded OFWs or are they really just using them for their own benefit like Migraine International presumably does? Now, it's time to really consider the idiocy of the mentality that the rallies didn't lead a surge or that pasaways are not to blame . I'd say this is downright stupid. Let's face it the virus is NOT selective of its victims. As long as the requirements such as a weak immune system or lack of social distancing are there - it can be there. Just because the rallyists at the SONAGKAISA event had some gear doesn't mean they can't be affected. What's my best suggestion now? Running them over with tanks will just make them martyrs like the Tiananmen Square Incident. Arresting them may soon occupy the cells with too many people. My solution is to let them rally and LET THEM ROT. Just because they'...

Florin Hilbay Better See Constitutional Reform Is Badly Needed To SOLVE The Pandemic

Again, the problem with the Opposition is NOT that they criticize President Rodrigo R. Duterte. Every healthy democracy has the majority and minority listened to. Democracy is after all the rule OF the people, BY the people, and FOR the people in which majorities and minorities are included. Now, it's time to consider that Florin Hilbay is RIGHT to address the first four problems. However, in his fifth problem, he only got ONE HALF of it right. Is he really that against constitutional reform and doesn't see how it works? This is what Florin Hilbay needs to understand. A shame really he was that board topnotcher and once a shining model for the poor. Unfortunately, what he's failing to see is how he doesn't see that constitutional reform is BADLY NEEDED to cope up with the first four problems he just addressed. Does Hilbay realize that the highest number of active COVID-19 cases is a two-way street ? True, he's right to call the pasaways in the government but what ...

The Best Bet For The Opposition To Compete For Attention From The Government Is The Parliamentary System

Let's just face it that the Opposition wants to compete for attention from President Rodrigo R. Duterte. However, the CURRENT system which is presidential hardly gives them that platform. You can consider how Kakie Pangilinan et al wants to compete against Duterte for attention . Unfortunately, Senator Francis Pangilinan's daughter together with Florin Hilbay's "don't listen to the president" is NOT the way. They want to compete with Duterte for attention yet they oppose Constitutional Reform? Well, they're shooting themselves at the foot because the parliamentary system is the most excellent way to do that! How does that work? Because the parliamentary system sets up a REAL competition. It's because of the defined roles of the Prime Minister and the Opposition Leader. Let's just say the current Opposition has decided to make Antonio F. Trillanes IV their Opposition Leader. How will that work for press conferences? It's because the Weekly Qu...

No To Once-A-Year Presidential SONA, Yes To Parliamentary WEEKLY Questioning!

Well, the SONA is approach on Monday, right? It would be the fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) and honestly, what has SONAs really done when they are done ONCE A YEAR? It's crazy that Get Real Philippines (GRP)  would criticize Noynoy Aquino's speeches without realizing that the REAL problem is the SYSTEM itself. I'm also not getting interested in President Rodrigo R. Duterte's SONA either because of the PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM. We have a SONA but what about a real big-time Question and Answer round? The problem with the SONA regardless of who the president is that there's HARDLY any questioning. I mean, shouldn't it be interesting if the Liberal Party led by, let's say, Noynoy Aquino would pass questions against the PDP-Laban in a moderated debate EVERY WEEK. I mean, question and answer time is highly vital, especially in this current time. Let's consider the term of Noynoy himself and what went wrong. It's really stupid GRP would critic...

It's Time For ABiaS-CBN To GROW UP From Being A Bondying Network

Who can remember the film Bondying from the 80s and the 1954 version? Consider the film itself was probably a commentary of overprotective grandmothers who don't want any harm to come to their beloved grandchild. However, the overprotective grandmother can go beyond the literal. The recent case of ABiaS-CBN seems to be a case of babying by the Philippine government. For decades, ABiaS-CBN enjoyed the government franchise, which in turn, turned it into an infantile network. But it's not only ABiaS-CBN but also MANY Filipino businesses are like Bondyings due to economic protectionism . What's so noticeable is that Rappler now reports that ABiaS-CBN now shifting towards digital and cable after "shutdown" . I think ABiaS-CBN is not thinking outside the box ever since their animosity with both Noynoy Aquino (2014) and President Rodrigo R. Duterte. They felt that they could get their franchise all the time. The rude awakening came that they can't become a big b...

Mali Si Trillanes! Mas Malaking Problema Ang SISTEMA Kontra Sa Taong Nagpapatakbo Nito!

Baki...

VP Leni Loud Robredo Needs To Support Constitutional Reform As She Proposes Her Alternatives

Just because I've got a distaste for Vice President Leni Loud Robredo doesn't mean I'll automatically shoot down what she says. When she talked about learning to budget - I'd agree with her ON THAT. Rappler now has a new article where they talk about her suggestions to President Rodrigo R. Duterte  as the Philippines battles the COVID-19 or the Legacy Virus. I know she's a pain BUT if she can give useful alternatives then WHY NOT? Though, she still needs to formulate anti-pasaway policies too. From her proposed solutions - here are areas where I'd really suggest that Leni Loud herself needs to embrace (and also Harry Roque and others) constitutional reform while the pandemic is going on: Duterte should continue giving weekly reports Announce policies only when all concerned agencies agree on them Let the public monitor pandemic funds, loans, and donations Be clear with protocols for locally stranded individuals Pass the P1.3-trillion Arise Philippines...

Would ABiaS-CBN Stars Want To GET CREMATED QUICKLY?

Correction: Photo above was taken BEFORE lockdown but the virus was already starting to spread. ABiaS-CBN indeed is a massive failure of the mind . It's really getting more laughable and cringeworthy at the same time when you consider the events that followed with ABiaS-CBN. The "massive" noise rally deserved to be mocked . It's also worth asking if the supporters of ABiaS-CBN's franchise are that desperate to GET CREMATED QUICKLY . The COVID-19 or the Legacy Virus is still at large. It seems that their beloved network's franchise is more important as of ANC and The Kapamilya Channel aren't available. Are they doing it because ABiaS-CBN is giving "life-saving news" as if no other channel gives it? I mean GMA-7 is still there, right? Now, the ABiaS-CBN stars have shown themselves to be really pasaway. Pasaways are not to blame as Vice President Leni Loud Robredo may suggest ? Please, take a look at the "greatest country" the USA beca...

An Angel Of Death Leads ABiaS-CBN's Noise Barrage Rally

I admit I did have a crush on Angel Locsin COLMENARES back when she was still on GMA-7. However, that crush just died out when she transferred to ABiaS-CBN. Yesterday was the noise barrage rally and it was LAUGHABLE. I even wrote a sarcasm post yesterday about how Filipinos still "love" ABiaS-CBN . Angel Locsin Colmenares showed how bitchy she can get. She may be pretty but she's definitely a beauty without brains . A lot of shows by ABiaS-CBN are full of eye candy (such as Shaina Magdayao's shows) but they all LACK SUBSTANCE. Just listening to Angel's speech is much more irritating than listening to Donald J. Trump. This recent screenshot by Get Real Philippines (GRP)  with Harvey Keh's statement   is indeed funny. Who can remember Harvey Keh back in 2010? The Senate to hold former justice secretary Vitaliano N. Aguirre II for contempt while Keh wasn't even called. Keh was providing ANONYMOUS evidence. I couldn't forget the late Senator Miri...

Today's ABS-CBN Noise Rally Proves Many Filipinos Still LOVE ABS-CBN

Yup, here's irrevocable proof that ABS-CBN is still indeed true to its claims that it's the NUMBER ONE network of Filipinos. Above is a picture of a LOT of Filipinos who still love their network. Yup, we can't count the population. If you can't see the people there then you must be very stupid. Yup, the gate has been padlocked. That's right, ABS-CBN has been truly shut down. If you can't see the padlock then you must be very stupid too. Just remember that Philippine democracy died last September 21, 2017 . The streets today had full support. You can see the placard holders are willing to get caught with the Legacy Virus just to restore ABS-CBN. That's how they REALLY love the network. They would rather get the Legacy Virus than not to see ABS-CBN back on the air at all. It's repression after all   and many are victims of injustice. Many are sad that they can no longer see the marvelous adventures of Carlo Dalisay of Ang Probinsyano  outside of Cab...

Are ABiaS-CBN Diehard Supporters That Desperate To GET CREMATED QUICKLY?

I love to mention that it's the Pasaway Double Standard . What's the use of getting mad at Debold Sinas' birthday party in his OWN HOUSE while they condone the mass gatherings of ABiaS-CBN? One even has to wonder why there are FILIPINO COMMUNISTS gathering in the rally  for ABiaS-CBN? Isn't it really strange? Yet you still have people who want to consider ABiaS-CBN has the paragon of virtue, press freedom, and the like. So tell me, is it press freedom to hate people who don't like ABiaS-CBN? When it comes to NEWS, you should take BOTH SIDES of the story. Today, a new noise brigade is going to take place this afternoon after their failed noise brigade. You want to ask the question if those ABiaS-CBN supporters are willing to GET CREMATED QUICKLY just for their favorite network? What's the big issue? The Philippines is NOT WINNING the fight against COVID-19 or the Legacy Virus as some would want to think. Blame the Philippine government entirely? While any go...

Drilon Has GOT IT WRONG: It's REMOVING Economic Protectionism, NOT Political Dynasties, To Dismantle Oligarchy

It's really something when nobody bloggers or nobodies, in general, get it right and politicians get it wrong, right? What's so STUPID to read is that Senate Minorty Leader Franklin Drilon's argument to President Rodrigo R. Duterte is that it's all about political dynasties to end oligarchy . Why is this argument STUPID based on a COMMON SENSE point of view? What do political dynasties have to do with the oligarchy? They may have something to do with it but the BIGGER cause is NOT them but the ECONOMIC PROTECTIONISM provision. How did the oligarchy rise anyway? I'm not going to solely blame the 1987 Constitution. Before that, we had Carlos P. Garcia's "Filipino First" policy. Then we had the Marcos Years where economic protectionism allowed the rise of the Marcos Cronies . Remember protectionism shielded the big local businesses of the Philippines from the BADLY NEEDED competition. The result of excessive restrictions against foreign investment on...

COVID-19 Crisis Shows Why #LetLeniLead May Worsen The Current Crisis

It's really something to think about that the Philippine Star has revealed that Vice President Leni Loud Robredo is not as competent as her beneficiary Jover Laurio would have you believe. I wonder is Leni Loud really paying Pignoy Ako Blog to boost her up ? Seems to be that Kris Aquino herself isn't the only person paying for Jover, huh? The recent statement of Leni Loud from the Philippine Star makes you wonder WTF is wrong with her. She says, "Let's forget economic growth for the meantime." I wonder, has she even realized that the DEBT ACCUMULATED during the COVID-19 crisis  can only be paid off by ECONOMIC GROWTH? Forget economic growth in the meantime? How much money was borrowed by the Philippine Government (and I don't think she's not involved either) to help out in COVID-19 relief operations? While focusing on the people who are suffering is indeed important but every last step such as Social Ameloriation Program (SAP) or 4Ps requires MONEY. I ...

An Essay Quiz For Those Who Compare Duterte To Marcos

The crass stupidity of #SilentNoMorePh is really well, stupid. I remembered some time ago when I wrote a post where I said that #NoToABSCBNShutdown is a rather misleading tag . Now, the attempt to compare President Rodrigo R. Duterte to a REAL dictator named Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. is a new desperate attempt. This is really another victim complex playing of the Anti-Constitutional Reform groups. I can respect anti-Duterte like the late Carlos Celdran but NOT Jover Laurio of Pignoy Ako Blog .  It's time that the Anti-Constitutional Reform members need to answer the following questions when they compare Duterte to Marcos IF THEY CAN do it in simple English without mixing Tagalog into it: If their beloved ABiaS-CBN is SHUT DOWN then why isn't there a PADLOCK at the network? Why is ANC News still open and still giving "life-saving news"? Why is there still The Kapamilya Channel or other cable channels by ABiaS-CBN? Why are the Youtube and Facebook pages still a...

Kiko Pangilinan Should Push For Removing FDI Restrictions RIGHT NOW

It's really something that Kiko Pangilinan blames President Rodrigo R. Duterte for the lack of jobs. It's also something when you consider how Antonio Living La Vina Loca calls constitutional reform as "unilateral surrender" and Jover Laurio shows her outrage regarding the same issue . This should be stupid to criticize any incumbent president WITHOUT giving alternatives. Again, Pangilinan is but a symptom of the parliamentary system. Given enough time, it's not just the Liberal Party but ANY party can eventually go down the drain when personality-based politics is at play. This is the problem right now with Pangilinan. Is he thinking that he can get away with blaming Duterte for a lack of jobs while he's probably not pushing for FDI restriction removal? If so, he's really not doing his job as the opposition. Then again, presidential opposition is ULOL or stupid  because does it even define its function properly? The problem again with the opposition to...
