COVID-19 Crisis Shows Why #LetLeniLead May Worsen The Current Crisis

It's really something to think about that the Philippine Star has revealed that Vice President Leni Loud Robredo is not as competent as her beneficiary Jover Laurio would have you believe. I wonder is Leni Loud really paying Pignoy Ako Blog to boost her up? Seems to be that Kris Aquino herself isn't the only person paying for Jover, huh? The recent statement of Leni Loud from the Philippine Star makes you wonder WTF is wrong with her. She says, "Let's forget economic growth for the meantime." I wonder, has she even realized that the DEBT ACCUMULATED during the COVID-19 crisis can only be paid off by ECONOMIC GROWTH?

Forget economic growth in the meantime? How much money was borrowed by the Philippine Government (and I don't think she's not involved either) to help out in COVID-19 relief operations? While focusing on the people who are suffering is indeed important but every last step such as Social Ameloriation Program (SAP) or 4Ps requires MONEY. I could understand if certain businesses are CLOSED for the meantime due to being "non-essential. However, those services that are still open don't come free. Food establishments may not be accepting dine-in in certain areas of the Philippines BUT they aren't giving food for free to civilians. A restaurant may be giving away food for free to frontliners but somebody is paying for it or giving them supplies to keep them going. I believe some of them resumed their businesses via delivery (either theirs, pick-up, or food delivery services) because they need MONEY to buy supplies. Also, every business in the essential is NOT giving away everything for free. You go to the grocery to buy your needs this COVID-19 crisis - you still PAY THEM. Sooner or later, the Bureau of Internal Revenue will start collecting their VAT, withholding taxes, and quarterly taxes because the government NEEDS REVENUES.

This just reminds me of Antonio Living La Vina Loca. I really wanted to facedesk when La Vina mentioned that he stated about no charter change during the pandemic. Living La Vina Loca even dares to call economic liberalization as unilateral surrender? Worse, Leni Loud has revealed her priorities with ABiaS-CBN than solving the COVID-19 albeit indirectly. She should've just focused on her program Angat Buhay. However, just because Angat Buhay is giving services doesn't mean Leni Loud is qualified to lead the nation or to flatten the curve. I wonder does Leni Loud even have a plan to SLOWLY start paying up the trillions of debt accumulated from other countries? If she doesn't then she's in no position to criticize the Marcoses for the debt accumulation.

This makes you wonder why are people saying #LetLeniLead or better for her to be president this 2022? If she intends to be president then she better focus on TWO IMPORTANT PARTS. The need for economic growth in order to continue relieving suffering. A lot of frontliners are overworked and probably underpaid but all she can say is pasaways are not to blame even when it works both ways. I wonder has Leni Loud even read of the news in the USA the "greatest country in the world"? Pasaways are causing a huge rise in USA's COVID-19 cases aside from the fact that President Donald J. Trump is also pasaway. I'm amazed at how Leni Loud first says pasaways are not to blame then economic growth should be ignored for the meantime? Really, I wonder what "brilliant" plan does she have to get the debt paid? That's why I even wonder where in the world is her brain and that she's just really tokhanging her chances for presidency this 2022. With this in mind, it's better to prepare that #LetLeniLead will soon be followed up with #LeniResign.

That's why the advocacy is to shift towards a parliamentary system. A parliamentary system would really weed out as many incompetent people in power. People from PDP-Laban, Liberal Party, etc. will lose their incompetent members. Maybe, the Liberal Party will rise again in the parliamentary system but only because the incompetents are OUT. The solution is NOT changing leadership without a change of system. Rather, it's a change of SYSTEMS FIRST before changing leadership.
