The Office Of The Ombudsman Is Not Exempt From Maintenance

It's time to do some maintenance with the Office of the Ombudsman. Is it me or is Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales possibly unstable in her mind considering her age? First she didn't want to investigate Leila De Lima then it happened. Next, she ended up biting on Noynoy Aquino (who was responsible for the SAF-44 mishap) who was the one who appointed her. Right now the problem may be more on Deputy Ombudsman Melchor Arthur Carandang.

The problem is that some people only trust the Dilawan media and their associates. It's time to look at things at every angle. Interaksyon mentions that Carandang himself said that the Anti-Money Laundering Council documents he was reading were just shown by reporters. If that's the case then it's stupid to accuse Justice Secretary Vitaliano N. Aguirre Jr. of making a paper trail against De Lima all the while Ombudsman Carandang has been making a paper trail himself.

The Ombudsman is supposed to help fight corruption. Here's why President Duterte won't sign the waiver. Why would he sign a waiver that's a mockery? It's like signing a waiver for me to agree to do something stupid. Did Antonio Trillanes IV the biggest king of fake news sign the waiver? If the waiver is a mockery then why sign it? President Duterte should have the authenticity of the waiver investigated. Signing any waiver without thinking can be a dangerous decision. In this case, the Ombudsman needs to submit itself to maintenance like every other government agency. The lack of maintenance in government agencies is the reason why many of them fall apart. As said, blame the people in the agencies rather than the agencies themselves.

Furthermore, the Office of the Ombudsman needs to own up to its failure like every other government office. You can think of this failures that should be put into mind. They had data on Jejomar Binay's billions yet why wasn't the guy even allowed to run for presidency? Shouldn't it also have investigated the Yolanda fund scam and worked against it? Instead, it ended up as a failure when you've got questionable people running for office. You had the Lugaw Fund Scam yet Leni Loud Robredo was allowed to run for vice presidency. It's not just the Liberal Party with Marbobo Roxas but also why in the world were Binay and Trillanes allowed to run as well? That alone could have nearly caused "Goodbye Philippines" with Marbobo as the president and Trollanes as the vice president.

Right now, the Ombudsman's office needs some maintenance. It's supposed to help monitor corruption and not encourage it. Carandang should be fired and jailed as part of its maintenance.
