It's more than time to expose the hypocrisy of the merged opposition concerning fake news. We know it's not just the Liberal Party but other people have joined forces. You can think of the event that Jejemon Binay showed up during the wake of the late Kian Loyd Delos Santos. You have to remember that Antonio Trollanes is not a member of Liberal Party but of of "I'm Not a Democrat, I'm Nacionalista" and Gary Alejano is from MAGDALO. This is a desperate alliance because Binay has a lot ot answer for, you have Trollanes and Alejano who are in the risk of re-entering the jail and you have the whole Liberal Party sheltering these guys. Besides, shouldn't the decision to let Trollanes to run as vice president and Binay to run against Marbobo Roxas even with all their bad record already proof that impunity skyrocketed during the Noynoying years?
It's more than time to call them out for their double standard behavior. Senator Bum Aquino says that spreading malicious information is wrong. But WTF why are they tolerating sites like Change Scamming, Silent No More PH (which may soon be shut down), Resbak Operatives, Madam Claudia, Pinoy Ako Blog (better renamed as PNoy Ako Blog) Pepeng Makabayan (Pepeng Makabobo) and the like in spreading their fake news. Change Scamming even lied some very outrageous lies like they falsely accused President Rodrigo R. Duterte of spending time watching Spongebob than doing his work. But what in the world was Leni Loud Robredo doing while the president was on duty? She was wasting her time and she deserves all the hate she got last June 12, 2017. Those sites I just mentioned have been spreading a lot of false information. Should I also mention that Crappler, ABiaS-CBN and Philippine Daily Non-Inquirer have been doing the same for years? They spread fake news as the "unbiased truth to protect democracy" when they were really spreading lies to protect Aquinocracy.
It should be something that Old Man Jim Paredes said "truth is truth" during the EDSA "celebration" but what is truth to him anyway? He's been living in the "truth" of Yellow Revisionism and he continues to deny his mother's involvement in the "Light-a-Fire Movement". I guess for Old Man Jim the truth only comes from the Yellow Media. You can only trust the Yellow Media and their distortions. You can think of the slogan "It's More Fun in the Philippines" and the number of times they insisted that it wasn't a campaign it's the truth even when it isn't. Most dishonest politicians will always claim they're honest to get the trust of the public. That's what the Dilawans are doing by claiming they hold the truth but they cleverly make such deceptive half-truths it's hard to discern.
Not to mention, isn't the modus operandi of the merged opposition of Liberal Party plus others to spread sh*t one way or another. Yes, Trollanes is using a new accounting or record keeping software and it's not using spreadsheets but spreadsh*ts to spread lies for his teammates. I guess both he and his rival for the vice presidency Leni Loud have no choice but to join forces. Besides, their claim to fight fake news is becoming less credible as facts are coming out. These people should just go to jail because that's where they belong.
