The Philippine national hero once said, "Filipinos don't realize that victory is the child of struggle, that joy blossoms from suffering, and redemption is a product of sacrifice." While I couldn't imagine or fully say what his life was but I could imagine people who might have told him in Spanish, " Who are you? A hero? " or, "Well we can't do anything, can we?" to excuse or enjoy their blunder.
