Real Talk: It's Really USELESS Trying To Please Those Pasaways!

Let's consider it that pasaways (hard-headed people in English) are difficult to please. The COVID-19 has not only revealed that the Philippines has one of the worst systems but also that pasaways do share a part of the problem. Those pasaways want to blame the government all the time believing that they should get a free pass . By their logic then pasaways in government too should get a free pass because they say that the pasaways aren't the cause of the problem. I guess Koko Pimentel himself shouldn't be punished the pasaways should demand for his freedom. Again, selective outrage, right? We have all the measures taken by the government. If we can really bring up a time of events in relation to the COVID-19 or Legacy Virus crisis - the pasaways are NEVER pleased regardless what good or bad the government does. True, the government should be open to scrutiny. However, the problem of the pasaways is that they always whine without giving ANY solutions whatsoever. You can

Communist Outrage For ABiaS-CBN's "Closure" Makes Their Tagging Of #DefendPressFreedom Even More Laughable

RigobertoTiglao.com  The credibility of ABiaS-CBN along with its rather HUGE failure of mind  along with its followers' failure of mind  is so amazing, isn't it? Recently, Rigoberto Tiglao presents a new daring article on his blog titled " Communists furious over ABS-CBN closure ". It's no surprise really when you consider the events for the past few months. Last time, I wrote an article about what I thought about ABiaS-CBN getting defended by COMMIE lawmakers . The same article I wrote led me to write about whether or not leftist lawmakers will make it mandatory for Filipinos to patronize their lousy media . Communist lawmakers fighting for ABiaS-CBN in the name of press freedom? Communist rallyists protesting for ABiaS-CBN also in the name of press freedom? It's no different than CRappler's Black Friday for Press Freedom protest where they had communist groups rallying behind them . Hmmm not surprisingly (which was at first for me) was that  Ninoy Aq

Full Foreign Ownership Of Businesses Doesn't Mean The Philippines Is Sold, Get It?

Here is a meme by Bantay Nakaw Coalition or Watchful Against Thievery Coalation (and their website is here ) which they are suggesting that full foreign ownership in power, transport, and communications equals sold. Huh? Are these people neanderthals? Ironically, they also praise Tsai Ing Wen of Taiwan  as another woman President Rodrigo R. Duterte failed to listen to. Apparently, Bantay Nakaw Coalition is very much against foreign investment and Taiwan is for foreign investment. TBH, I don't mind Vice President Leni Loud Robredo getting praised as long as she deserves it. While she did fail in her time on ICAD but at least Angat Buhay is doing something. However, I can't still be sure if Leni Loud herself is paying Jover Laurio since it's just my hunch. Sold? Well, that's just a ridiculous thought. What does full foreign ownership of businesses here in the Philippines mean? it would mean that foreign investors won't need to find a local Filipino partner. Findi

How The Parliamentary System's Opposition Is Better In Keeping The Government On Its Toes

There is always the desire for a Yellow-led opposition and the Trillanes-led opposition . However, the real problem of the Philippine PRESIDENTIAL government is that the opposition is not really well-defined. The problem with the movement of #TindigPilipinas is that it's set in a presidential system and it doesn't even have a formalized role. However, the problem of the presidential in general is that presidents tend to wield too much power. It also becomes a game of Russian roulette whenever it comes to getting a good president. Yellowtards who consider Noynoy Aquino to be the best president ever should ask themselves if they want to wait for decades before another Noynoy appears. Political analyst Richard Heydarian needs to ask himself in his profession whether or not Filipinos should wait for another Isko Moreno and Vico Sotto to rise up for a long time after both terms are over. How does the Opposition in the Parliament work? You can consider the role of the two p

Does It Even Matter If Trillanes Is A Fan Of "Ang Probinsyano"?

While this is really old news already because this was way back on November 15, 2018  - I still can't help but laugh at it. The indefinite hiatus of Ang Probinsyano (which is really the MOST pointless teleserye ever ) makes me laugh that Coconuts Martin and Antonio Trillanes IV do have some things in common. It's not just their good looks but also their attitude. Both Trillanes and Martin are fond of their talk ng talk platform. Both of them are always chattering their nonsense. Martin's tantrum over ABiaS-CBN's franchise revocation (but NOT the network shutdown ) is very similar to Trillanes' tantrum. Trillanes has been an avid supporter of ABiaS-CBN. Trillanes even confessed that he paid for the Anti-Duterte Ad . Turns out that Trillanes himself is a fan of Ang Probinsyano , huh? Heres' a tweet by Trillanes where he praises the program. He calls it that it's a mirror of society's problems of society. He says it's a new way of informing the p

Looks Like Liza Soberano Is Getting Ready To Play As Risa Hontiveros In Any Future Projects

Pika Pika PH A few days ago, Liza Soberano had joined a web seminar on zoom with the Not For Sale web seminar where they talk against Internet child exploitation . It's not a bad thing actually. I can't dismiss Risa Hontiveros all the time just because I find her annoying. Risa herself does have some few valid points but misses the point all too often because of the system. She's organized a web seminar and guess who came to join in. Nope, it's not any of Hontiveros' biological daughters but her celebrity lookalike Liza Soberano. Well, ABiaS-CBN star Liza herself has teamed up with Risa. You can see on the screenshot above that at certain angles - Lisa can easily be passed as Risa's daughter! I remembered a joke I wrote last month where I joked that Liza should play as Risa . It's because of their uncanny resemblance can't be ignored. The web seminar or webinar makes me think that maybe Liza working with Risa (even if it's just online now) migh

Invite Foreign Companies To Transfer To The Philippines By REMOVING Economic Protectionism

I don't know if Filipinos should still endure Franklin Drilon or not. On one hand, Drilon is actually suggesting something that could save the Philippine economy. His challenge to the DTI should not be dismissed because he said it. Here are words of Drilon that can't be ignored: "The reality is, we need investments more than ever for our economy to recover from this COVID-19 disease and to provide jobs and livelihood opportunities to Filipinos who lost jobs due to the pandemic."  "Tell us the stumbling blocks we are facing here and if concerns legislation, Congress will fix it," Okay, Drilon has a point but there's one thing that he needs to consider. Being a lawmaker, he should see the flaws in the 1987 Constitution already. Once you consider it - the 1987 Constitution is OPEN for amendment according to Article XVII . I wonder if Hilario Davide himself even realized that the constitution he claims to be the " best in the world " is ac

Coconuts Martin For Senator (Under The Liberal Party Banner) This 2022!

I remembered the joke I posted where Coconuts Martin should play as Antonio Trillanes IV on TV or on the big screen. It's already 2020 and 2022 is just around the corner. Since the Liberal Party has been very good at making useless stunts such as #OtsoDiretso - they might as well consider recruiting him as their next senatorial candidate. If the Liberal Party feel they need another Trillanes then they not get him as a senator? He is already like Antonio "Sonny" Trillanes IV in some way. He's always doing the dada ng dada platform. If he wants a "strong ground" for ABiaS-CBN (which may get its free-to-air franchise back soon) then why not run for office? He does have his sense that his rather pointless show Ang Probinsyano is supposedly service for Filipinos. However, does he realize that support for his show is already getting pointless. Did Netflix even decide to put all the first season's episodes? The show is still going on and on and it's n

Pasaways Have Been Demanding For #MassTestingPH But Are They Willing To Follow SIMPLE GUIDELINES?

I might not be a doctor, nurse, or medical technologist doesn't mean I can't at least do research from their works, right? This is another common sense post that I'm willing to write as a nobody blogger. I wrote earlier that pasaways shouldn't get a free pass during the COVID-19 or the Legacy Virus epidemic . Now, it's time for me to actually write about the pasaways who are demanding for #MassTestingPH (and Vice President Leni Loud Robredo didn't say immediately but As Soon As Possible ). Other wokes are already saying that the Philippines is in dire shape or overly criticizing the Duterte Administration. Nothing is wrong with criticizing the Duterte Administration. However, they would rather criticize for the sake of it than put any real solutions. Leni Loud did buy some kits but she may be admitting it might not be enough. Crabbler We can consider the popular Pasay City mayor Vico Sotto. Sotto himself does get into headlines because he does have hi

Pasaways Shouldn't Get A Free Pass This COVID-19 Outbreak

While criticism of the Duterte Administration (or ANY administration) for that matter is a must but it must be done with the motive of IMPROVING the government. I don't have any problem with having an Opposition as long as they offer useful alternatives . It would be very easy to criticize the government WITHOUT offering any solutions. Others are now exaggerating the problem. I even remembered writing about  Filipinos who refuse to follow simple guidelines while expecting the quarantine to end . Some even dare say that the problem shouldn't be blamed on pasaways (stubborn in English) but on government. The government does deserve scrutiny for any mistakes it has then again so do pasaway citizens. The government should be scrutinized by the people and the people should be scrutinized by the government. In a parliamentary setting, both the majority and minority scrutinize each other. There's always the fallacy that pasaways love to say and that it also happens in other cou

#OneMoreTermForPNoy? Yellowtards Should've Campaigned For #ShiftToParliamentary Instead!

It's really astounding how some people to tag #OneMoreTermForPNoy yet they didn't want to shift to the parliamentary system. Some critics of Noynoy Aquino who asked if he was so good then why isn't the Philippines a first world country fail to see term limits are more of a hindrance than a necessity. Others opposed the idea of giving Noynoy another term in fears that he might become another President Marcos. Well, instead of hashtagging #OneMoreTermForPNoy - why don't they open their minds and find out that shifting to the parliamentary system is NOT about people staying in power forever . Some Yellowtards wanted to give Noynoy another term yet they opposed the idea of constitutional reform because the 1987 Constitution is supposedly the best in the world . WUT? What they fail to consider is that Noynoy is just a powerless person now. Under the parliamentary system - Noynoy could still be in office depending on circumstances. For instance, if the Liberal Party was a

Trillanestards Should Support A Parliamentary System If They Want A Formalized Trillanes-Led Opposition

It's amazing at how Time Magazine had informally named Antonio "Sonny" Trillanes IV as the "opposition leader" of the Philippines . What makes me so amazed is that Trillanes who supposedly graduated cum laude from the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) and a master's degree from the University of the Philippines is fighting off against constitutional reform . What's incredibly amazing is how Trillanestards (like their king) is opposing parliamentary believing it might put the Dutertes in power forever, that term limits are a must to avoid another Marcos, maybe some of them believe that the 1987 Constitution is the best in the world , and I don't know whatever beliefs they have. Unfortunately, their desire for a formal Trillanes-led Opposition is but a wet dream when you're in the presidential system. Consider the reality that Trillanes term has finally ended. He can still run for vice president or president but he can no longer run for senator

Why Pasaways Tagging #LetLeniLead May Soon Be Tagging #LeniResign

Is it me or is the Philippines a country that's full of people habitually seeking instant solutions but fails to be on time? Right now, there are even people who are tagging #LetLeniLead because they feel that Vice President Leni Loud Robredo herself will do a better job. Why am I happy that President Rodrigo R. Duterte fired Manuelito Luna from PACC? It's because Angat Buhay is there to help. If anything, Angat Buhay is but another vehicle to help people who are afflicted by COVID-19. I think it's all about COMPETITION that would keep the government and private institutions on their toes. If anything, I'd probably donate to both Duterte and Leni Loud so they will be on their toes. Leni Loud should serve as competition to Duterte and vice-versa. I think Duterte acknowledges the fact that Angat Buhay is badly needed competition to keep the government on its toes. Angat Buhay is also an alternative to people who dislike Duterte. However, the challenge always comes with

COVID-19 Pandemic Proves 1987 Constitution Isn't The Best Constitution In The World

Somebody really needs to give Hilario Davide his pills or a slap in the face, right? I don't know why Davide would say that the 1987 Constitution is "the best in the world". Unfortunately, the recent COVID-19 pandemic has proved him dead wrong. I wonder is Davide watching the news right now and seeing it's not the best in the world as he thinks it is? He even calls federalism a leap to Hell. Yellowtards are insisting that the best solution is to #LetLeniLead. However, it wouldn't matter if Vice President Leni Loud Robredo suddenly steps up as president tomorrow, gets the mass testing kits, if Angat Buhay gets whatever it can IF the foundations it's given to work with are faulty. I'm getting skeptical of President Rodrigo R. Duterte but it doesn't mean #LetLeniLead is the panacea to cure the Philippines of COVID-19. The Dilawans should be focused on their alternative courses of action than just criticizing the administration. The issue of the 1987 C

Korean Crime Dramas Beat The 1,100+ Episode Series "Ang Probinsyano"

This is really funny with that screenshot of Coconuts Martin where he brags that his show Ang Probinsyano is supposedly doing a great job for the country. Meanwhile, we've got Choi Jin Hyuk (who obviously doesn't speak Tagalog) responding, "You can't fool us with that!" as a joke. I just finished watching the OCN crime and sci-fi drama Rugal . Some people may be familiar with Jin Hyuk as the main protagonist and detective of Justice  aired on KBS-2. Maybe, I should've also compared Justice to Ang Probinsyano as well. While reading Get Real Philippines for some badly needed inspiration - I ran across a comment in this article called " Life goes on and GETS BETTER without #ABSCBN news and entertainment " where one comment from a certain Bongsky wrote the following: Honestly, I have to laugh at Bongsky who I'd call Bobosky for his comments. I can't comment too much on the first and second because I'm not a fan of Game of Thrones , T

A Presidential Decree Should Declare COVID-19 Pasaways As TWAT Meaning "Totally Withhold All Treatment"

There was a bit of a joke from the United Kingdom that talked about having the TWAT law. Nope, it's not a real law yet but here's a screenshot below of the TWAT order which I'd consider to be reasonable if President Rodrigo R. Duterte should sign it into a presidential decree... Above is just a joke order of the His/Her Majesty's Government (HM Government for short) in regards to the COVID-19 outbreak. It may just be a joke but wouldn't it be nice if this was a reality? If only President Rodrigo R. Duterte would actually declare this a new countermeasure against guideline breakers during the COVID-19 crisis. I remembered one of my previous articles proposed that violators should be made to do community service without pay . Community service without pay is painful. There's nothing humiliating about doing menial labor unless you're not paid. There's also another article I wrote w here people can't expect the quarantine to be over if they don

Constitutional Reform NEEDS To Be Addressed During This Legacy Virus Outbreak

Is it me or does Franklin Drilon get more irritating to listen to? I can't be sure if it's either greedy, stupidity, or a bad combination of BOTH that has made him suddenly voice out against charter change. Just remember a couple of times charter change got opposed namely during the Ramos Administration and the Arroyo Administration. He mentions about Filipinos not having food or jobs yet does he see (if ever) that charter change or better renamed as constitutional reform is badly needed? Why talk about constitutional reform? The Philippines NEEDS a new system and not just a change of officials . The misconceptions of the 3PA are against the parliamentary system as "perpetuating dictators" , federalism will empower warlords when it's feudalism, and that economic liberalization will cause an invasion of foreigners have led to the Philippines' still ONGOING decline. Yes, I'm even referring to a decline in this term too because of the SYSTEM. Worse, we'

Dutertards And Yellowtards Need To Support Shifting Towards A Parliamentary Philippines

It's the real issue that both Dutertards and Yellowtards just have no end to their exchange of name callings and rude remarks, right? Not all but most of them tend to do that. Just reading through Frank Baraan's Twitter is like looking at clickbait into another useless better. Dutertards and Yellowtards tend to tear each other a lot. The 2019 elections had #OtsoDiretso had its rabid supporters vs. rabid critics. You have people comparing the performances of both Rodrigo R. Duterte and Noynoy Aquino  as presidents. Lately, there was even a recent report that Noynoy said that Duterte created an "unnecessary problem" with the ABiaS-CBN" shutdown". Others say it's best for ABiaS-CBN to remain shut down. Others say it should be renewed. Reading through their comments is either entertaining or irritating. Both Dutertards and Yellowtards have a LOT of growing up to do. Why should they support a parliamentary system? It's because the parliamentary system
