"Joy Ride For Leni Loud" Shows How Her Supporters COULD CARE LESS About Following Simple Guidelines

Here's something from the Philippine Daily Inquirer (which formerly had John Nery who was also a sponsor for the wedding of Jover Laurio). It reveals that a joyride for Vice President Leni Loud Robredo was conducted in Bicol. Assuming the figure of hundreds is accurate (or even thousands according to Rappler) - it's really worth facedesking about. I don't care which figure is the real one (which might be like how Rappler said thousands walked out while CNN Philippines said hundres walked out) because it's an OBVIOUS CASE OF VIOLATING COVID-19 guidelines. This is NO DIFFERENT from the motorcade to encourage Leni Loud to run

I'm amazed at how the University of the Philippines seriously needs cleaning up. I'm not going to dismiss the achievements of the school or that there are students who truly deserve to be called scholars ng bayan. However, it has become the home for pasaway "thought leaders" such as Jose Maria Sison, Sarah Jane I. Elgago, and Raoul Manuel. It has also become a hub for leftist activities such as what happened last June 12, 2020, with the rallying led by Renato Reyes Jr. of Bayad Muna. If anything, the UP-DND accord has been violated way too many times. Why should a school that's owned by the GOVENRMENT and paid for by the TAXPAYERS be a hub for lawbreakers? The school either cleans up its act or it can be a bad example to other schools.

What happened was that these guys have proven themselves worse than Debobo Sinas. Sure, Sinas was in the wrong to accept the mananita greeting during his birthday. However, it was just his house and the penalties they should suffer should be not as great as those who filled up the whole campus. This was later aggravated when the ABiaS-CBN rallies occurred.

Rigoberto Tiglao of the Manila Times had further even pointed out how the rallies caused by ABias-CBN and Filipino COMMUNISTS helped spread COVID-19. Re-reading it may make me think more about the problem behind the rallies. I think I need to re-share this common sense statement by Tiglao for the sake of stating it:

Rally participants are forced to violate either all at the same time or consecutively the four things Covid-19 experts say are absolutely necessary to contain the epidemic: 1) wear face masks in public; 2) physically distance yourself from others by at least 1 meter; 3) avoid crowds; and 4) wash your hands vigorously and avoid touching your face. One can’t help touching each other somehow in such crowds.

Do you think the rallyists never took off or lowered from their noses the masks after an hour or two under the hot sun? They wear masks, they touch each other so often in such crowds. Would anyone really be able to tell a fellow rallyist to stay away from him by 1 meter? How on earth could they have washed their hands during the rally?

As epidemiologists have also emphasized, a scenario that spreads the disease is one in which there is a lot of shouting, as droplets containing the virus are projected much further when these come from someone hollering, especially with passion, “Oust Duterte!” which is done not just by the speakers, but also by the rallyists.

Worse, after the rally, many of them —now infected — would have of course used public transport, where they infected helpless commuters coming from a hard day’s work.

I was thinking about the "pasaway thought leaders" like Gerry Cacandindin (above). Is it me or does his face tell people who arrogant he truly is? If we're in a real dictatorship then face it - he and his kind are NOT EVEN BEHIND BARS. You had people like Jover Laurio, Frank Baklaan IV, Lagot Isidro, Cynthia Patay, Leah Navarro, and Jim Paredes (to name a few) who are still SCOT FREE in spite of their non-stop badmouthing of President Rodrigo R. Duterte. I'm actually amazed at how this guy has ignored the fact that the Black Lives Matter really was pointed out that it could encourage bigger crowds and cause a bigger spread of COVID-19. So, even if the Black Lives Matter protest (daw) didn't lead to an increase in COVID-19 cases - it's COMMON SENSE that mass gatherings shouldn't be allowed for such a contagious virus. Yet, they do have a very stupid rationale for rallying one way or another, right? Then again when there's rally - there's money, right?

I really must laugh at the solutions. Is the best solution they have to #OustDuterte and #LetLeniLead? I'm not going to excuse the government for any blunder in the pandemic response. However, just because there are mistakes on the government that the pasaways are blameless and pure before the eyes of the people. Just who have been doing all the MASS GATHERINGS which were forbidden to PREVENT the spread of COVID-19? Yet, they still insist in rallying and rallying.

Pawokes of the Republic of Twitter

Maybe, it's time to bring back the question again for the celebrities. Those ABiaS-CBN celebrities better ask themselves on what did they even contribute to help stop the COVID-19 pandemic. A good example is how Angel Locsin COLMENARES-Arce is showing herself to be really pasaway. For instance, Angel led the rally for the ABiaS-CBN franchise and later led a birthday pantry without proper coordination from the authorities. Besides, the shamelessness is share. It's a far cry from what Choi Jin Hyuk did after his violation of going to a bar he didn't know was illegally opened. Jin Hyuk decided to go on hiatus for his actions. What about Angel and her friends? Most of them continue to add more layers to their already thick face. Many of them have VERY THICK FACES and VERY THIN SKINS at the same time

Besides it really shows one thing - their credibility is LACKING. For one, they may accuse others of running troll farms. However, some of their paid trolls like Jover got exposed. Others that were exposed were like Cocoy Dayao who was the webmaster of many of the troll pages such as Change Scamming and Silent No More PH. Think about how the so-called "fact checking" may no longer be that credible too. It may only be a matter of time that they will further show their true colors without being confronted. Their "decency" is just for show if you ask me!

That's why I'm advocating for shifting to parliamentary system. Under a parliamentary system - Leni Loud would really step down in shame if she doesn't want to be voted out. However, the presidential system lacks any real sense of shame. Sure, Joseph "Erap" Estrada resigned over his scandal when he was president yet he had the nerve to run again as president during 2010. Under a parliamentary, Erap himself would've been ousted by a vote of no confidence either because he answers questions dumbly or because of his lifestyle. Erap may no longer even be able to run for office either. Maybe his son Jinggoy Estrada would also no longer be able to run because he'd be voted out too. Leni Loud needs to apply thinner to her face and maybe even withdraw her candidacy for the incident. A parliamentary system wouldn't even allow such idiotic behavior either.

I guess that's why the supporters are still so against charter change. It's because they love their politics with a lack of accountability. I think the Liberal Party is just trying to enjoy the spotlight once more and gain impunity. The end result is tragic for them. Charter change could've benefited the Liberal Party by encouraging them to do better and be a constructive opposition if they're the minority backbench. Instead, they still want the same old system that sadly boomeranged on them way too many times. It's becuase they want to do more activities such as this joy ride and not get too much punishment, right?
