BBC HARDtalk is a place for people with interesting stories to tell, right? It's too bad that Stephen Sackur didn't appear to grab the opportunity to interview Jover Laurio while the latter had her interview a year ago. Now, it's time to for Sackur to really consider one thing -- if he wants to have a new interesting story to tell then he should consider Laurio. He may not get his chance to interview Maria Ressa (because of her arrest) unless the former gets special permission to do so. However, the chances to interview Laurio are still there and I think Sackur should grab it ASAP!
What are the reasons why Sackur should get Laurio interviewed ASAP? She already has so many incidents happening lately such as the incident where Nicko Falsis leaked out that she actually had help from Kris Aquino. You can also consider how her claims of being non-partisan are showing up such as her wedding list and her posts always feature the Yellows. She was also backed up by Ressa who called her blog as "well-researched" and the arrest of the latter also ripens the opportunity. Not to mention that the Dilawans are already getting so much hatred from the Filipino people more than ever.
Sackur could consider how much ratings he can get from the Filipino people with Laurio as his guest. His interviews with both Antonio Trillanes IV and Maria Lourdes Sereno were already blockbuster hits. Now Sackur will you please invite Laurio as your next show guest ASAP?
