Which Maria Do You Want To Be Interviewed Next On BBC HARDtalk?

Who enjoyed the grilling session that Stephen Sackur had with Maria Ressa? If you've noticed the trend - Sackur had already interviewed TWO Marias. The first Maria he interviewed was Maria Lourdes Sereno. The next Maria was Maria Ressa. Now, there are TWO MORE Marias that Sackur may consider interviewing soon namely Maria Josephine "Jover" Laurio of Pignoy Ako Blog and Vice President Maria Leonor "Leni Loud" Robredo. Why the two of them? Sereno and Ressa are both Maria. Now, why can't we have two more Marias on BBC HARDtalk?

It's a place for people with interesting stories to tell, right? Ressa's interesting story to tell had to do with her GUILTY libel case. Sereno's interesting story had to do with her getting kicked out as Chief Justice. Interesting stories right? Well, the two other Marias do have interesting stories too. One is Laurio herself had a series of events that linked up to the #PaBoostNiKris screenshots. Meanwhile, Robredo herself also has a LOT of interesting stories to tell such as when she got FIRED from ICAD for her incompetence.

For both Marias, the big question is are they even ready to face Sackur on BBC HARDtalk? Laurio's first interview on BBC didn't impress reporters. Why Sackur didn't decide to interview Laurio at that time still baffles me. Laurio's story was already pretty interesting. Why Sackur decided to interview Ressa next than Robredo is also baffling for me. I mean, Robredo's story of getting fired from ICAD is also very interesting. Then again, Sackur is a very busy man and I think he had no slots available yet unlike this time when Ressa got interviewed.

I think Sackur should now consider which Maria he wants to interview next. I would suggest that the next one should be Laurio. Laurio herself is still seething in arrogance as she could still afford to rant nonsense EVEN during COVID-19. Laurio would rather COMPLAIN than propose alternatives. Then he can save the best for last with Robredo. After all, Robredo is a politician who still continues to influence for better or for worse. Sereno got hit hard, Ressa got hit hard... now when's it the turn of Laurio and Robredo to get hit hard on HARDtalk?
