Liberal Party's Cartoon Politics

Some time ago, I remembered writing about what I called cartoon politics. It was at that time I compared Noynoy Aquino to Nobita Nobi from Doraemon, Franklin Drilon to Mr. Lazy from the Mr. Men series, Pantaleon Alvarez to Pugad Baboy from the comic franchise of the same name, Tito Sotto to James Jonah Jameson in Spiderman, Antonio Trillanes IV to Beetle Bailey from the franchise of the same name, and Vice President Leni Robredo to Leni Loud from The Loud House - hence the name that I call her. Granted, I'm no political analyst so I think informal writing is acceptable to a nobody blogger sharing his views. The post on cartoon politics makes me think about another problem of the Liberal Party - it's that the party is relying on theatrics rather than solutions. It's not wrong for the Liberal Party to criticize the current administration - what's wrong is when they talk and talk WITHOUT SOLUTIONS.

It just made me laugh at how often I call Leni Robredo - Leni Loud Robredo. It's because Leni Loud is indeed very loud. I'm amazed at how her supporters try to call Leni a quiet worker. Think for a second that Leni herself could've done herself a favor by NOT replying to the #NasaanAngBisePresidente hashtag for a start. It's not wrong for her to give updates on what her organization is doing. The problem is whenever Leni starts to respond to anything thrown at her like Leni Loud does. Sure, it was stupid to mistake a pediatric surgeon doctor named Dr. Flordeliza Grana (who I may refer to as Doc Leni) from the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center (ARMMC). However, it seems Leni is too focused on what people think about her. That kind of behavior is really making her a real version of Leni Loud from The Loud House to a certain extent. The Liberal Party's probably still pushing her to run for president by 2022. That's just proof that the Liberal Party is too focused on cartoon politics than any real solutions.

Who can remember their theatrics making it look like democracy has died?

Who can remember the Liberal Party when they wore white last September 21, 2017? Did they want to tell us that Philippine democracy had truly died on that date? This show really made me laugh looking at how the Liberal Party has become a clowning party. The least they could've done was to push for a real formal opposition than whine that democracy is supposedly dead. Did the "funeral" they hold during 2017 do a thing to raise them? Unfortunately, two years later, it still didn't do any wonders. They wasted a good amount of white blouses that they wore during the "wake" of democracy. Even funnier, Nobita and Drilon themselves blew their cover by smiling on what seemed to be the wake of Philippine democracy. The "wake" they held further brought their relevance down another foot below the ground. The "wake" may have already shown that their relevance is really dying as a result of their cartoon politics.

#OtsoDiretso's use of cartoon politics proved detrimental to its cause

It's true that they're supposed to be President Rodrigo R. Duterte's critics because they belong to the opposition, right? The problem was when they decided to pull the theatrics with a literal jetski. Did they forget that Noynoy Aquino joked about getting ran over by a train? What was even funnier was that Gary Alejano even tried to make it look like he was going to fight off the Chinese military himself. Alejano could've talked about solutions or negotiations with the army aside from pointing Duterte's mistakes. If they were going to Marawi then they should've proposed how to get Marawi fixed than just criticize the rehabilitation process. The use of theatrics really ended up becoming another blow for the Liberal Party. #OtsoDiretso would've probably won IF they showed people that they could do better if they were calling the shots. Instead, focusing on cartoon politics instead of real solutions. Worse, more and more theatrics are being carried over such as using the "public servant" image from Mar Roxas to now their (possibly) hopeful candidate Leni herself.

Not to mention, we do have the Blogre, Jover Laurio as part of the cartoon politics

Jover could go ahead and lie to the whole world that she's non-partisan when her blog is OTHERWISE. Her wedding was sponsored by the likes of Leni, Trillanes, Bum Aquino, Leah Navarro, Maria Ressa, and other people trying to be the current "relevant opposition". A lot of posts in Pignoy Ako Blog are rather mediocre. They are possibly risking themselves because Jover herself could be paid for by the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP). Jover herself seems to show that she's connected to communist parties by her actions. Jover seems to be good friends with Renato Reyes Jr. and Sarah Elgago. The fact Jover herself would even invite people over to attend the Mananita DURING AN EPIDEMIC is stupid. Jover herself tried to destroy Duterte's image with one malicious post after the other. Do they really even think that Jover could get their image boosted up? If so, they're doing it all wrong. Jover herself is called Princess Fiona from Shrek due to her ugly visage. Okay, not to ugly-shame her but her ugly heart is making it hard to ignore her appearance. The problem isn't Jover's appearance but the fact that she's INCREDIBLY STUPID. It's baffling really why they even have an alliance with her or even give her paboosts (which was leaked and proved that Kris Aquino was part of that Resibo Group) to start with.

__________

The Liberal Party really needs to stop doing the same stunts all over again. It's doing the same stupidity all over again that led to its really INCREDIBLY MASSIVE failure of the mind. They are still trying to do the same theatrics over and over again. They should really stop with the cartoon politics. They don't need to support Duterte. I think the problem is that they're against constitutional reforms because they're BLINDLY opposed to Duterte. They could've thought that the late Carlos Celdran was anti-Duterte yet he supported constitutional reform. Unlike Celdran, the Liberal Party is really just blindly opposed to constitutional reform even when the same current system has now boomeranged on their faces.
