Liberal Party REALLY Needs To Stop Their Theatrics And Focus On Long-Term Solutions

Is it me or does the Liberal Party REALLY have its incredibly massive failure of the mind? A review of the Liberal Party's campaign from 2016 to 2021 would tell you that they're relying too much on theatrics. Who can remember how they set Mar Roxas to do several tasks such as become this and that but NEVER showed his ability to lead? Did it win Mar his seat? Instead, it backfired and they decided to do the same with current Vice President Leni Loud Robredo hoping it'd work on her. Who can also remember when #OtsoDiretso ran in hopes of forming a formal opposition yet the opposed shifting to the parliamentary system? Elections come and the members of the Liberal Party start doing theatrics all over again. I'm amazed at how the Liberal Party NEVER learned from its mistakes. I'm not saying that they have no right to criticize President Rodrigo R. Duterte. My problem with them as the current opposition is that they fail to give the current government better alternatives. 

How are these theatrics really destroying them? A good example of their pathetic attempt to win last 2019 was with Duterte and his jetski. One has to ask if did they ever remember the "promise" Noynoy Aquino made that he would be run over by a train. What they could've done was to do more than criticize. They should've given their alternatives such as the area of how Marawi can be rebuilt faster and better than just complain about it. The result of their theatrics last 2019 was another loss for them. Mar Roxas ran for president last 2016 and lost. Mar attempted the same theatrics and lost AGAIN. Bum Aquino ends up getting demoted from a brilliant businessman to a clown because of these theatrics. If they focused on solutions then maybe they could've won. Instead, their refusal to see the real problem has resulted in them becoming more and more irrelevant. What's even more stupid is that they had several sites such as Pinoy Ako Blog, Change Scamming, Silent No More, and the like to assist them in their black propaganda. Yet, those pages didn't help them win elections last 2019.

However, the Liberal Party could've won if they focused on long-term solutions that just give donations. If Leni Loud's Angat Buhay is very focused on uplifting lives then she should talk about constitutional reform NOW -- not give gifts in person. Don't tell me Leni Loud doesn't have the staff workers to give packed food to victims? Leni Loud could've stayed in the office, let her subordinates do the work, and she could've focused on making necessary amendments. Instead, Leni Loud is too focused on theatrics. I'm not saying Leni Loud is wrong in giving donations. What's wrong is when Leni Loud is too focused on being shown as some benevolent figure worthy of the title of president. Leni Loud could've talked about removing unnecessary restrictions in order to grant more income and employment for Filipinos. Instead, she's too focused on giving donations to the poor rather than giving them opportunities to learn how to fish. Also, they should be supporting the need to shift to the parliamentary system if they really want an opposition with a real voice -- not an opposition forced to rely on theatrics to get attention. 

This is the sad state of the Liberal Party. A party that's too focused on theatrics as a bunch of circus clowns. If they want to be relevant again then they should focus on long-term solutions such as finding ways to pay back the massive debt incurred during COVID-19. Otherwise, they can consider themselves to be nothing more than zombies in politics. It's all about solutions and not theatrics that should be the name of the game. Hopefully, Liberal Party will change it ways before it's too late.
