Making It Fun in the Philippines

Teddy Baguilat's blog I don't REALLY mind if the Liberal Party of the Philippines will win again IF they have a good platform. However, I'm really wary of what Teddy "Dancing Boy" Baguilat Jr. really said about economics between Philippines and Vietnam. He's against the economic charter change which he said the following which makes me cringe if he's got too much dancing going in his head... I guess this statement is made by sheer ignorance and to think he's a lawmaker. He mentions that Vietnam has limits on foreign equity and no land ownership. I wonder does he think that 60-40 is about land ownership?! I'd be amazed if he did. This statement is partly made from ignorance. It's true that the late Noynoy Aquino did make SOME important amendments that helped make the economy better. However, the 60-40 provision still exists for SOME industries. Well, today is Taiwan's Independence Day, right? I was thinking of the time when I actually wrote about Jover Laurio of Pignoy Ako Blog  in Taiwan . I was wishing that Jover would run for senator under the Liberal Party since her sponsor Vice President Leni Loud Robredo is running for president. I even want to see Jover win a Nobel Peace Prize award because of how questionable nominees are. Now, it would be very easy to see pages like Change Scamming , Silent No More PH , and Bantay Nakaw to name a few of those pages. It's NOT wrong to highlight any failures of the Duterte Administration's failures during the COVID-19 pandemic. The great Mahathir Mohamad supports having an opposition and criticism as part of government growth. There are people cheering as Maria Ressa of Rappler is the first Filipino to get the Nobel Peace Prize . With that in mind - I decided that there's going to be yet another possible nominee namely Antonio F. Trillanes IV. Trillanes has been playing the victim and portrayed as a martyr. Heck, some even think he's the "new Ninoy Aquino". Though, Trillanes is very much alive meaning that there's no recently grieving widow to counter Bobong Marcos . Trillanes has been hailed as a hero by many of his supporters. If Ressa can get the Nobel Peace Prize this year then maybe Trillanes himself can be the NEWEST nominee or even the NEWEST winner. It's amazing to see how Trillanes has been portrayed as "that hero" during the "dark times". I was thinking about Jover Laurio of Pignoy Ako Blog. Jover's wedding was studded by many of the Yellows (and other Opposition members) like Maria Ressa of Rappler , John Nery of Inquirer , Vice President Leni Loud Robredo, Bam Aquino, Antonio Trillanes IV, Gary Alejano, and Leah Navarro to name a few of her sponsors. Right now, it might be very easy to rejoice over Ressa's Nobel Peace Prize. However, Google "Nobel Peace Prize controversies" and you may wonder if it has lived up to the vision of Alfred Nobel after he died. I'm even wondering if Jover herself will (if ever) get a Nobel Peace Prize after Ressa got hers. I find it funny how Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) even awarded her substandard work . It's really something to think about the Maria Ressa got the Nobel Peace Prize. I think the nominees are now questionable especially with Greta Thunberg. However, before rejoicing, we need to think about ONE "AWARD" that Ressa got last 2020. Ressa has been receiving awards left and right from the western organizations . However, the big question is can Ressa TRULY rebuild her credibility in the Philippines? Ressa did get ONE "AWARD" that the likes of Pignoy Ako Blog couldn't talk about presumably out of shame - it's the SACKUR PUNCH AWARD ! I was thinking about the whole hype of "Another widow defeats a Marcos." with Vice President Lein Loud Robredo. However, it's been at least nearly 10 years since Jesse Robredo died. Until now, the circumstances that led to Jesse's death are still unknown. I doubt it that it was foul play. Now, the Leni Loud touch may not be as powerful as it was compared to 2016. Noynoy Aquino died and there are some who may be wishing for Kris Aquino to run for politics . Leni Loud is NO LONGER a grieving widow.
