I was thinking about Jover Laurio of Pignoy Ako Blog. Jover's wedding was studded by many of the Yellows (and other Opposition members) like Maria Ressa of Rappler, John Nery of Inquirer, Vice President Leni Loud Robredo, Bam Aquino, Antonio Trillanes IV, Gary Alejano, and Leah Navarro to name a few of her sponsors. Right now, it might be very easy to rejoice over Ressa's Nobel Peace Prize. However, Google "Nobel Peace Prize controversies" and you may wonder if it has lived up to the vision of Alfred Nobel after he died. I'm even wondering if Jover herself will (if ever) get a Nobel Peace Prize after Ressa got hers.
I find it funny how Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU) even awarded her substandard work. In due fairness, it's more understandable for Ressa to get a nomination because she's been with CNN and she is the founder of Rappler. Nery himself is part of Inquirer so it's understandable. But Jover? I must laugh at the idea that ADMU should even nominate her for her childish work. ADMU, a school of high standards, had stooped so low. Inquirer even got so low when they made her "Filipino of the Year" followed by five communist bitches which included Rep. Sarah Jane Elgago. So, I shouldn't be surprised if ever Jover gets the Nobel Peace Prize next.
Personally, I'm really on for it. I wish the people giving Ressa's awards will give Jover awards too. I would really want to see Jover get the Nobel Peace Prize. I would like to see Jover inflate her ego all the more as liberals shower her with awards. Though, Jover might want to consider getting an interview with Stephen Sackur first before getting the award. Just think that she may join her fellow Sackur Punch Award winners - Antonio F. Trillanes IV, Maria Lourdes Sereno, and Ressa.
