If Trillanes Suddenly Died This Year Then 1Sambayan May Already Have A "Better" Grieving Widow Against Bobong Marcos

I was thinking about the whole hype of "Another widow defeats a Marcos." with Vice President Lein Loud Robredo. However, it's been at least nearly 10 years since Jesse Robredo died. Until now, the circumstances that led to Jesse's death are still unknown. I doubt it that it was foul play. Now, the Leni Loud touch may not be as powerful as it was compared to 2016. Noynoy Aquino died and there are some who may be wishing for Kris Aquino to run for politics. Leni Loud is NO LONGER a grieving widow. Don't tell me Leni Loud hasn't moved on (and let's just dismiss the rumors between her and Bolet Banal) after some time since her husband died? In fact, another possible "political martyr" would be Antonio F. Trillanes IV. The "opposition" tends to put Trillanes in such a light like he's the "new Ninoy Aquino". If that's true then Arlene Orejana-Trillanes herself should be Cory Aquino 3.0 if Leni Loud is Cory Aquino 2.0.

This would be a very interesting case. What if Trillanes died this year following shortly after Noynoy's rather natural death? Noynoy wasn't shot at any airport so we'd probaby never get a Noynoy Aquino International Airport with his bust on display for tourists. Let's say that Trillanes' life was cut short and he got shot in an airport by an angry terrorist. The tarmac would have the remains of Trillanes. It would make news and the local media will make him a martyr. We may even see Trillanes have a state funeral and his remains will be moved to the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani (LNMB). Arlene will be crying heavily as a grieving widow. We might see Leni Loud patting Arlene's shoulder while soldiers will prepare to place Trillanes' coffin into an empty slot at the LNMB. The opposition will take chances to blame it on the Duterte Administration and start a new revolution.

The next move of 1Sambayan will be rather simple. Leni Loud's grief is already more than over. The announcement will arrive and say, "Another widow will beat a Marcos." But it wouldn't be Leni Loud This time, Arlene will be nominated as the new presidential candidate for 1Sambayan. Soon, people will be chanting the name of Arlene like they were chanting the name of the late Cory Cojuangco-Aquino during the EDSA 1986 Revolution. We may have Chito Gascon and Etta Rosales (to name a few) who will promote Arlene. Both Gascon and Rosales are allies to Trillanes. Arlene will be the new widow to pit against Bobong Marcos who is running for president.

This would actually make me thankful that Trillanes is still alive. I can't imagine the absurdity of necropolitics. Necropolitics is more fun in the Philippines, right? All that is needed is for a relative in politics to die and the family follows. Who knows that maybe Joshua Aquino will file for candidacy as mayor of Tarlac because his maternal uncle died. Who knows that maybe Kris Aquino will run for senator because of her late brother. The Aquinos had it where Ninoy Aquino's death led to Cory's presidency and Cory's death led to Noynoy's presidency. That's why it's very upsetting that Noynoy died. True, Noynoy isn't interred at the LNMB but his death can still be exploited. One must wonder about the absurdity of endorsing the widows of politicians in the first place.
