Making It Fun in the Philippines

Just because bad times are here doesn't mean we should be too serious all the time, right? I just had a thought about Liza Soberano's tweet regarding the quarantine period. It's almost like something her "mother" Risa Hontiveros-Baraquel would tweet , right? Just think about it that put Liza in a Filipiniana gown and she will presto look like Risa on the way to a political gathering. ABiaS-CBN may consider filming a new episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) focusing on Risa to try and get sympathy for their free broadcasting renewal. If not, they can try to let Liza play as Risa in any movie where the lady senator's character is needed. Who would be better to play as the Liberal Party senator than her "daughter" Liza? The members of Kadamay themselves got government aid during the Legacy Virus crisis but they still want more? They complain that PHP 6,000 up to PHP 8,000 isn't enough? That's the problem with Kadamay and their beggar mentality. They think that the government owes them more. They are already expecting more than what 4Ps is giving. I don't have any problem with the establishment of the Commission of Human Rights (CHR). We can consider it was established because of the list of human rights violations that were done during the Marcos Years. Now, consider the real functions of the CHR  as a government agency. It's meant to monitor and investigate ALL forms of human rights violations. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of the CHR under Chito Gascon. Abolish CHR? Nope, I'd say fire Gascon  away from his post. I also wrote a post long ago where I asked if you'd rather commit suicide than follow the rules for discipline . Duterte supporter or whatever - it's time to put aside all political colors. I remembered a bit of "fact check" I made (note that I'm NOT a fact-checker) where Noynoy Aquino just had a flu . It was later said that Noynoy was moved to an ICU for security reasons last December 2019 . Chances are (if ever) is that Noynoy himself may have been the first Filipino to contract COVID-19 and nobody was told about it. It's easy to blame the failure of any operation on the leader all the time now, isn't it? Sometimes, it's not entirely the leader's fault or not his or her fault. Sometimes, the fault lies within the people. It's because it's all about people AND systems . PUI means Persons Under Investigation, PUM means Persons Under Monitoring, PDM means Person Di Makaintindi (persons who can't understand), and MPI (Mga Put*ngIna).
