How Can You Expect The Quarantine To Succeed If People Don't Want To Follow Simple Guidelines?

It's easy to blame the failure of any operation on the leader all the time now, isn't it? Sometimes, it's not entirely the leader's fault or not his or her fault. Sometimes, the fault lies within the people. It's because it's all about people AND systems. An old age question has to be, "How can people expect progress if they don't even follow simple guidelines?" In this quarantine crisis - it's really easy to see that there are four types of people. PUI means Persons Under Investigation, PUM means Persons Under Monitoring, PDM means Person Di Makaintindi (persons who can't understand), and MPI (Mga Put*ngIna). For any relief operation to succeed - good governance must also meet cooperation.

Unfortunately, many Filipinos (for years) tend to think that democracy equals anarchy. It's a constant source of irritation for any decent Filipino out there, isn't it? That's why I even said that if they want to kill themselves if they have to follow rules then be my guest! I guess that kind of reasoning has been the reason why arrogant white men love the Philippines. Arrogant white men also have their tendency to hate developed East Asian democracies too. We can also consider how the United States of America (USA) is full of people who also have a dysfunctional sense of freedom. I even want to think that some Filipinos desire to move to the USA not only because it's developed but also because of its dysfunctional sense of freedom. This dysfunctional sense of freedom now has people dreading the proper use of martial law (which is STILL permissible under the current 1987 Constitution), and that they have an irrational fear of soldiers and policemen. How is their fear of policemen and soldiers irrational? They fear the mere existence of policemen and soldiers rather than only being afraid of the bad eggs. You have the right to fear bad eggs in police and military. However, we need police and military to protect the country. It's just like surveillance is good but you need to fear it only when it's misused and abused.

Do they even understand the need for strict quarantine in times of a pandemic? If they started doing some research - COVID-19 or the Legacy Virus is highly contagious. How can they keep calling South Korean men as fags when they themselves aren't even militarily-trained? You can also consider how South Korean "fags" are indirectly shaming Filipino "men" through the ongoing successful South Korean quarantine program. One of South Korea's methods is that citizens don't fear surveillance for the sake of fearing it. Also, if they're complaining about military and police presence then they don't realize that policemen and military are deployed during times of health crisis. But where are they getting their hysteria? Is it from Filipino commies who are pretending to be defending democracy such as the members of Bayad Muna? Is it from Liela Dilemma, Cheato Gascon and Etta Rosales who failed to do their jobs as human rights chairpersons? It is from dysfunctional Americans who pretend that they're experts of the Philippines? Also, they also tend to take things out of context based on misleading headlines. President Duterte didn't say to shoot quarantine offenders for the sake of it. Rather, the truth is to shoot quarantine offenders if ever your life is in DANGER. It's all about shooting in SELF-DEFENSE! Then again the Philippines is already recorded to have a very low reading comprehension among 79 countries.

This is not the call for people not to give feedback on how to improve the quarantine. Rather, this is the order that if you're told to STAY AT HOME in times of an epidemic then STAY AT HOME. Remember that there are very limited medical workers (which I'd also blame decades of state protectionism for it) and too many people. That's why it's best to STAY AT HOME and move out only if you need to.
