Making It Fun in the Philippines

Even if Mar Roxas is obviously just another joke candidate  who has sold whatever knew in the past for the stupidity of the Liberal Party as of present. They're already repeating the same old gags like necropolitics which is done with Leni Robredo . Now they have a real joke candidate with Roxas who's really clueless as of present, a credit grabber and you may even consider he served several years in Congress and Senate and NEVER passed any real effective laws. He could have just decided to pass laws for economic liberalization but he flip-flopped saying that 60/40 isn't a hindrance. The problem of PNoy Pridists are that they're a bunch of losers, crybabies, some of them act tough as they can or do whatever they do to promote the same agenda of " Daang Matuwid ". The problem of many Filipinos is that they love to criticize others but can't take criticism themselves . Critics can be like vegetables where you have good ones and bad ones. You need to sort them out. It's really very annoying that many Filipinos just refuse to listen to constructive criticism. They have the tendency to think that everything's okay, that there's nothing wrong never mind that every system has room for more improvement. No system is perfect and there are mistakes to learn from that's why there's always the need for constitutional reform. Let any valid critic say the truth in the nicest, most polite way possible. They're still destined to get a slap on the face by many Filipinos who choose to enjoy their blunde r. Just think of what happened to Claire Danes way back in the 90s that she had persona non-grata for simply speaking the truth about Imperial Manila's sanitation problems.

Neri Colmenares is the latest poster boy for ignorant opposition against foreign direct investment while he hypocritically compares himself to Rick Astley. Many Filipinos tend to say, "But only the foreigners will get rich!" believing the lies that protectionists have set for them . Many of them adhere to Heneral Antonio Lunatic's idealism  of self-industrialization. Even after seeing the difference between North Korea and South Korea and how China progressed not during Mao Zedong's regime but during Deng Xiaoping's regime , one can see that many are still stuck with the idea, "But only foreigners will get rich." Well tell that to all the first world countries that only foreigners get rich and they'll just laugh you off. I've discussed on how Communist China progressed with Dengism and not with Maoism. As election day is coming, I'm thinking of how much money was spent on DILG Secretary Mar Roxas to get people to vote him for president. Face the facts that  he's done almost every trick in the book but he's just a huge joke candidate . Roxas fans are either just deluded or can't accept that they're endorsing a bad product. The bottom line is no matter how much you try to repackage a bad product that it's still a bad product nonetheless. Now Years ago, we've had the legacy of David Guerrero when he endorsed, " It's More Fun in the Philippines. " as the country's slogan. The whole slogan ends up as a bad joke because just almost anything that's not good becomes "More Fun in the Philippines" as a result. As the administration of President Nobita Aquino is about to end, it's really time to review six reasons why PNoy Pride didn't help and wouldn't help the Philippines. It's always the real paranoia that people hear that foreign investors are foreign invaders as if the two don't mean any different. If Filipinos decided to study Philippine history not in Heneral Lunatic's context but in real context, they'll see that foreigners already traded with Filipinos long before the archipelago was named after King Philip of Spain . In contrast to the claim that Free Trade makes countries more foreign dependent - think again. What has the whole cycle of economic protectionism have to offer? The whole protectionist agenda against free trade  has been disproven when you know the history of first world countries. These countries didn't launch Heneral Lunatic's ideology of self-industrialization but they progressed with free trade, decentralized governments with many of them under a parliamentary system. Malaysia's federal state ran with free trade and parliamentary system may be the model that the Philippines needs to follow.

It's very easy to confuse patriotism with xenophobia isn't it? Ultranationalist groups like Bayan Muna, Gabriella, Anak ng Bayan, Anak Pawis and the like have their ultranationalist tendencies all the while they contradict themselves . Just looking at the picture I am using for this post, Neri Colmenares is using a microphone and wearing an imported watch. Let's try to define the differences between anti-imperialism and anti-foreignism. Both terms are very easy to confuse with each other. Because of this confusion, the ultranationalists have managed to cloud the minds of people with their lies to continue their hold on power.
