What's The Use Of Saying "NO TO ANOTHER FLOR CONTEMPLACION!" While Rejecting FDIs As "Foreign Imperialism"?

The silver anniversary of the death of "Saint" Flor Contemplacion was hindered by COVID-19 ECQ measures two years ago. Now, it's 2022 and I feel like raining on the parade of the idiots of the CPP-NPA legal fronts such as Migraine International, Anakbayad, Lazy Filipino Students, Bayad Muna, Alliance of Complaining Teachers, Kayabangan Partylist, Anakpatis, and the like. Migraine well gives off a migraine with their stupidity. Recruits of Migraine International protest wanting to end labor export, increase salaries, etc. all the while they reject foreign direct investments (FDI) as "imperialism". Besides, the members of Lazy Filipino Students condemned the passing of the 100% ownership of FDI regarding public utilities. They argued it as "imperialism" never mind that the 100% ownership of FDI is all about NOT HAVING TO REQUIRE A FILIPINO PARTNER. It's all about SHARES OWNERSHIP and NOT LAND OWNERSHIP. 60-40 is the policy that foreigners can only own 40% of SHARES and NOT one bit about land ownership. I felt like writing this one because President Rodrigo R. Duterte signed more economic reform laws regarding FDI - something we need more than ever to recover from COVID-19 debts. 

I've noticed how often that the name of Flor is invoked so easily even after her death. Until now, they still insist that Flor is "innocent" probably based on that film by Viva Films called The Flor Contemplacion Story. I just love to mention how it's so unfair that Hubert Webb was WRONGFULLY CONVICTED even after evidence pointed out he was in AMERICA ALL THE TIME. It's so sad that Lauro Vizconde died without knowing the truth - believing that Hubert was the real murderer. The film The Vizconde Massacre Story also starred Kris Aquino as the late Carmela Vizconde. Later on, a 2018 film about the Chiong Sisters appeared hoping to put an end to the rumors that the Chiong Sisters (Marijoy and Jacqueline) are allegedly alive. If I'm not wrong, the late Marijoy J. Chiong's boyfriend had also confirmed that she indeed was the corpse lying in the ravine. However, Paco Larranaga was proven INNOCENT as he was in Manila the whole time when the crime happened. Give Up Tomorrow was a real documentary that examined the events of a mock trial that WRONGFULLY pinned seven people (or eight if Davidson Rusia is included). Davidson was later revealed to be innocent of the crime while having committed other offenses. In short, Davidson wasn't qualified to even be a state witness to begin with!

It's highly possible that these commies are using a hatred for Singapore to oppose constitutional reform. It's been several years but they seem not to move on from the Flor Contemplacion Narrative. It's no surprise that Nora Aunor (who played Flor in the movie) and Flor's daughter Russel (who too is estranged from her husband) show up during the death anniversary. Migraine International has made it a habit to invoke the name of Flor as if it's some miraculous magic to save OFWs on death row. I just find it annoying that recruits of Migraine International keep saying "NO TO ANOTHER FLOR CONTEMPLACION" while rejecting economic liberalization. Again, it's confirmed that Migraine International is linked with those CPP-NPA legal fronts. I really think how gullible recruits of Migraine indeed give a Migraine that they want to stop labor export policy BUT they oppose FDI as "imperialism". 

Do the recruits of Migraine even ever have the faintest idea of job generation? I think Gory Martinez of Migraine knows he's lying. I think Sonny Africa of IBON Foundation knows he's lying. I think Neri Colmenares of Bayad Muna knows he's lying. I think Sarah Jane Elgago of Kayabangan Partylist knows she's lying. I think Antonio Tinio of Alliance of Complaining Teachers knows he's lying. It seems to becoming even more obvious that their kind take advantage of gullible recruits and feed them the wrong ideas. The members of Lazy Filipino Students are calling for "national industrialization" - an idea LONG DISPROVED by events such as Mao Zedong's Great Leap Forward. Mao 's failed revolution proved their ideals wrong yet they still adhere to it. I guess it's because the recruiters intend to stay in power by keeping the masses poor. Less jobs means more gullible recruits and more power to those commies, right? That's why I refuse to believe that the CPP-NPA legal fronts are even "nationalistic" to begin with. Those recruits fed with the wrong idea of job generation has created generations of joblessless. I guess these recruits think job generation is possible through the "national industry" even after the late Lee Kuan Yew and the late Deng Xiaoping proved it wrong. That's why the CPP-NPA NEVER has subscribed to Deng's modified communism. After all, Deng said that poverty isn't communism and that it's glorious to be rich. Deng is even praised by Lee as a great man even if he was a communist. 

Besides, the very plight of Flor that caused her to fly abroad was thanks to economic protectionism. From what can be gathered - Flor's husband Efren (who later got arrested for drug dealing according to Magpakailanman) was having an affair with another woman. The movie that tried to portray Flor as innocent didn't shy away from it either. Flor could've found a better job in the Philippines. However, minimum wage for house helpers is rather small in contrast to Singapore. That's why Flor flew to Singapore in the first place. Why Flor killed Delia Maga and the child, Nicolas uang, under her care doesn't seem to be revealed until now. Though, the plight of Flor was caused by lack of JOB OPPORTUNITIES that made her go to Singapore to begin with.

I'm amazed at how those gullible recruits still invoke on her name. I would think that their utter ignorance is rather orchestrated. Just think about how economic literacy is hardly taught during the K+10 days. Why is economics only taught in the last year of high school during K+10 is really not ideal. Fortunately, we have K+12 now which I hope will build economic literacy than just one year of high school economics. I think those leftist lawmakers are only concerned about whatever power they have. The evidence can be pointed such as why would they be using hi-en gadgets such as Mac PROs and iPhones? They could've remained a little more "consistent" if they were all using Chinese electronics in their recruitment. Okay, maybe they are getting more "consistent" by using Tiktok though their hatred for Communist China still remains.

I'm glad that we're in the digital age now. We know that the revolution of "self-industrialization" is a lie as proven by North Korea and Venezuela. Both China and Vietnam as communist countries are more into free markets. The whole Flor Contemplacion Narrative may be getting obsolete any time soon. If we want to have no more another Flor Contemplacion - opening up the Philippine economy to FDI is the way to go.
