Are Some Anti-Reform Crybabies Using A Hatred For Singapore To Oppose Constitutional Reform?

March may bring the thoughts of the Ides of March - the Roman date of the settling of debts on the 15th day of that month. I'm just reminded of a blog entry I wrote last 2018 asking if March was really become victim card mentality month. It's because March brings in two major incidents namely the execution of Flor Contemplacion on March 17, 1995, and the execution of the three drug mules in China last 2011 during the reign of the late Noynoy Aquino. Some people ended up wrongly thinking of Flor as a heroine. It was even said that President Rodrigo R Duterte once launched a protest that disrespected Singapore. It was also said that Fidel V. Ramos erroneously called Flor a heroine. Though, it was a good thing that Noynoy made NO SUCH STATEMENT regarding Ramon Credo, Elizabeth Batain, and Sally Ordinario-Villanueva aka the Three Blessed Drug Mules. So, maybe we can give the late former president some credit there.

One of the CPP-NPA's legal fronts that was formed after the death of Flor was Migraine International. Although they are called Migrante - I prefer to call them MIGRAINE because of how they've often given arguments such as how they're so opposed to reforms while they call for junking labor export policy. Recruits of the organization are all just suckered in by the greedy CPP-NPA. I even want to assume one of its chief founders, Garry Martinez, probably knows he's LYING and that he's just out there to make a profit out of the gullible. I still don't want to buy that the CPP-NPA legal fronts are nationalistic at all. I think Garry of Migraine Intenrational is probably enjoying whatever money he makes from the idiocy he spreads. The same can go as Renato Reyes Jr. goes to S&R and drinks a Coke Float while gullible recruits spend their hot days in the sun. I would dare say that the likes of Garry himself has done a good job inculcating misinformation against badly needed constitutional reform. I think Migraine has done a good job in influencing hatred towards Singapore.

There's really much black propaganda that's used against Singapore concerning constitutional reforms

The late Lee Kuan Yew was viewed by Amos Yee as a "dictator". That's why I think Amos should be hired by the CPP-NPA legal fronts to be their speaker. Fortunately, Amos' offensive blog is gone which I think was taken down for offensive content. The idea that Lee Kuan Yew was a dictator may be even further fueled that he ruled Singapore for 31 years. Comparing Lee Kuan Yew to the late Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. (a REAL dictator) is apples and oranges. Marcos Sr. wasn't bad because he ruled long - he was bad because he was a DICTATOR who wasted 20 years of good opportunity to improve the Philippines. The late Pol Pot of Cambodia ruled for five years but he certainly wasn't a good ruler. Again, the solutions isn't about term limits based on a fixed number of years but term limits based on performance. People should be granted longer terms if they serve well and no more terms if they don't. That's the beauty of the parliamentary system.

Lee Kuan Yew eventually stopped being prime minister while his son, Lee Hsien Loong, was in politics during the time of former prime minister Goh Chok Tong. Flor was executed during the reign of Goh as prime minister. There are still who try to paint her as a heroine and a martyr. Viva Films even made a film called The Flor Contemplacion Story (which Joel and Jun-Jun her twin sons starred as themselves) and more biased biopic films. The film based on the Chiong Sisters case was released some time after it happened. There was even a film about the Vizconde Massacre which unfairly painted Hubert Webb as guilty. Based on a documentary, that serpent of a judge, Amelita Tolentino was eyeing a position. Hubert requested for a DNA test to prove his innocence - something that was DENIED to him. Yet, the same film company that vilified two INNOCENT people (Hubert and Paco Larranaga) had a history of painting Flor as a heroine. Fortunately, getting a copy of the same film is hard to get and might require VIVA Films to try and get the "masterpiece" into HD format or into Netflix.

I remembered how Singapore really differed so much from the filth of the Philippines. The whole place was so clean. I remembered talking about how nice it would be for the Philippines to follow Singapore's example. However, I was met with so much black propaganda that says, "Have you forgotten about Flor Contemplacion?" It was during that time I believed Hubert was involved in Vizconde and Paco in the death of the sisters, Jacqueline (whose body is still missing hence why some think she's probably still alive) and Maryjoy. How can they talk about Flor's innocence after she was proven GUILTY by the COMPETENT Singaporean courts? How can they talk about Flor's innocence when the Philippines has had a very HIGH crime rate during that time? That's why Ramos wanted to follow Singapore but he was met with black propaganda. Besides, it's so upsetting to learn that Hubert and later Paco were INNOCENT ALL ALONG of the crimes they were falsely accused of. Yet, they still want to maintain the innocence of a woman who was OBVIOUSLY GUILTY.

Would you rather keep the Philippines filthy than transform it into another Singapore?

It would be very safe to assume that those idiots just want to keep the Philippines the "way it is". It reminded me how a so-called expert of the Philippines (an American) said that Filipino culture must stay even if it must remain dirt poor. The fat American guy kept badmouthing Singapore non-stop as "everyone's favorite tyranny". I would like to say that those who hate Singapore have a good portion of their members who'd rather see the Philippines remain dirt poor than become another Singapore. Maybe, they don't want to admit it but it seems that they really want to do so.

I did write a controversial blog post that became a war zone here. What's that post? It's all about how the Filipino people need MORE DISCIPLINE than democracy. I admit that I did display a fake Lee Kuan Yew quote. Whether or not Lee Kuan Yew directly said it is not so important. However, Lee Kuan Yew stated in his book From Third World to First that the Philippine press is a failure when it came to talking about censorship. That's why I decided to stop letting Anonymous trolls from commenting. here. Ironic that some of the Anonymous trolls even demand so and so to remove their masks but they're ONLY ANONYMOUS. Regardless, Singapore in itself showed how constitutional reform (such as welcoming foreign investors and hte parliamentary system) had helped shaped it.

There's really the problem of hating discipline, now isn't it? The COVID-19 pandemic already proved how many lack discipline. Some people don't even bother to wear their masks when needed. I was having my vaccine shot and how many people REFUSE TO FOLLOW SIMPLE GUIDELINES. One reason why Singapore is progressive is because their people follow simple guidelines. Pasaway "thought leaders" (like Gerry Cacanindin and Jover Laurio of Pignoy Ako Blog) really ju show how being pasaway goes a long way. Just think about how the United States of America (USA) really had the TOP ONE COVID-19 infections because of TOO MUCH FREEDOM. This isn't to absolve Francisco Duque of any mistakes he has. However, pasaways too are to blame too for why the Philippines had a huge number of cases.

Besides, the Philippines used to be RICHER than Singapore. Singapore used to be POORER than the Philippines. Lee Kuan Yew even mentioned in From Third World to First about the slums near Singapore River. One could imagine how that area may have been even worse than Tondo, Manila, or the Pasig River. Yet, Lee Kuan Yew's willpower cleaned that river. I wonder if these anti-Singapore fools would rather have Tondo as a squatter haven and the Pasig River as a dirty place to be than to have the Philippines another Singapore? If so, they aren't doing future generations a favor as dirty rivers and squatters also contribute to the spread of diseases and environmental destruction. What's the use of hating greedy businessmen who dump their wastes in bodies of water when you support squatters who do EXACTLY THE SAME THING?

It's pretty much like saying that you'd rather be poor than have to go to work. It's like saying that you'd rather eat pagpag over healthy food if one has to work. The mentality of going against reforms because of a hatred for Singapore is utterly stupid. Besides, these Singapore-hating anti-reform can't even fix their own lives. Why should they even tell people what's good for the Philippines?
