Let's Vote For Leni-Kiko For 2022 If EX-CJ Davide Proves To Mahbubani That The 1987 Constitution Is The Best On The World

I'm amazed at how it's so easy to quote the late Lee Kuan Yew when it comes to driving a vote against Bongbong ahem BOBONG Marcos in favor of Vice President Leni Loud Robredo. Now, Hilarious Davide Jr. is now endorsing Leni Loud as the presidential candidate. However, Davide Jr. has been living UNDER A ROCK with his claims such as the "1987 Constitution is the best in the world" or saying that it's the only constitution (daw) that says the public office is a public trust. However, Thomas Jefferson already wrote it back when the United States of America (USA) declared itself INDEPENDENT from Great Britain which was becoming a tyranny at that time.

Davide Jr. himself showed his IGNORANCE about foreign investments. His statement about 60-40 is ignorance. 100% Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) ownership is NOT about land ownership but shares. Nothing is wrong with joint ventures or having a foreign partner where you invest. However, limiting the shares to only 40% for foreigners is very discouraging. A foreigner can still own 100% shares in their host country BUT they're required by law to pay income taxes, pay rent, pay license fees, and follow employment laws. Davide really should try asking himself if any good businessman will be willing to rent a space if the lessor will only let him own 40% of your company shares in that branch.

Since Davide Jr. still insists on this and that - I think he should engage Kishore Mahbubani of Singapore in a formal debate on TV. I think my proposed group debate might be interesting. However, a one on one debate can also be more interesting due to how focused it is. I think it would be interesting to see how Davide Jr. as a former United Nations (UN) ambassador will debate with Mahbubani the former president of the UN Security Council. Mahbubani was the former dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School on Public Relations at the National University of Singapore. Lee Kuan Yew pointed out a lot of details about the Marcoses that are often cherry-picked. Lee Kuan Yew NEVER recognized Cesar Virata as a prime minister nor the Marcos Years as a parliamentary. Why aren't those Pinklawans even saying that and still using the Marcos Years as an excuse not to go parliamentary?

It would be interesting if Davide Jr. himself should go to Singapore and issued a formal debate to Mahbubani. Davide Jr. keeps exaggerating his claims about the 1987 Constitution is "the best in the world". It's very easy to use some members of the international community's criticism of Rodrigo R. Duterte, right? However, it's very easy to IGNORE certain members of the international community when it says something valid and it hurts, AM I RIGHT? This isn't to dismiss any valid criticism from the international media. I may not like the European Union (EU) but they're right about excessive restrictions on FDI. Stephen Sackur is part of the international community since he's not a Filipino. If 1987 is the best in the world then why isn't a huge portion of the international community praising it as such can be a good start?

I remembered watching a video on Singapore's economic policy. Mahbubani ended up saying very differently from Davide Jr. Mahbubani dismissed the claims against inviting FDI. I love how Mahbubani used the term "rape" to which the leftists tried to describe FDI as. Instead, Mahbubani says that FDI creates jobs, and teaches new skills to the local workers. A very different statement from what Davide said. Guess which country is doing better overall. Still the Philippines? True, the late Noynoy Aquino left a mark but not all sectors are liberalized. Noynoy eased certain restrictions allowing better inflow but neglected the others. So, while Noynoy did leave a mark but it's not enough to be better than Singapore. I believe the Philippines has the potential to be better than Singapore. However, ignoring Mahbubani's advice has caused the Philippines a huge opportunity cost.

It would be interesting if Davide Jr. tries to prove Mahbubani wrong in this and that. I bet Mahbubani will just draw out some arguments and hit them straight. In my case, I would listen to Mahbubani over Davide Jr. Why? Mahbubani is from a school of thought that should be the Asian model for economics and politics. Enough of selectively picking Lee Kuan Yew's quotes. Why hates the Marcoses, use Lee Kuan Yew's quotes against the Marcoses, but practice economic protectionism? Mahbubani is an old man that's going to be regarded as a wise old man. Davide Jr. is just an old man who probably thinks older always means wiser.
