Do you think it should be surprising? Granted, last year's incident with the ABiaS-CBN renewal really had it THAT STUPID when commie lawmakers such as Sarah Jane Elgago and Carlos "Heneral Lunatic" Zarate were involved. Eventually, protests saying to #NoToABSCBNShutdown had a LOT of Filipino communists in its participation. The protests would've significantly lead to a spike of cases in COVID-19 yet pasaways (as always) don't want to take the blame for their actions. The leftist lawmakers and rallyists were rallying for ABiaS-CBN. What was even funnier was when Rigoberto Tiglao of Manila Times did publish an article about the Marcoses, communist fronts, and the Lopezes.
So we've got Yellowtard sinophobes, right who are shooting themselves at the foot...?
I'd like to stress out the fact that ABiaS-CBN's Lopezes do have Chinese ancestry. Eugenio Lopez III's middle name is Lao. Current CEO of ABiaS-CBN, Carlo Katigbak, seems to have Chinese ancestry, too. Maybe, one should take a look at the Aquinos whom the Yellowtards idolize. For one, Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino is obviously of Chinese descent.
One could take a look at the Aquino family (picture above from Vera Files) to see the Chinese ancestry. We have Servillano Aquino (Noynoy's great-grandfather), Benigno Aquino Sr., Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., and Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Aquino III. Even younger pictures of Ninoy and Cory show that they're obviously of Chinese descent. Kris Aquino's face and skin obviously shows her Chinese ancestry. If I'm not wrong, the Aquinos and the Robredos probably have the same Chinese surname as Lim. Some of the faces printed on the Philippine peso have Chinese ancestry and not just Ninoy and Cory. Did you know Sergio Osmena Sr. was actually the lovechild of a Chinese man and a Filipino woman. Manuel L. Quezon was also Chinese. You may also think of other heroes in Filipino history who were of Chinese descent. Ignacio Paua of the Katipunan was actually BORN IN CHINA. Tomas Pinpin the father of the Filipino press was of CHINESE descent.
Besides, a lot of local businesses in the Philippines are also run by Filipino-Chinese. I would find it hypocritical to have an anti-China rally THEN drinking a glass of cold milk tea after that. Any plan to commit ethnic cleansing to get rid of Chinese-Filipino or Chinoy "filth" will just end up like Nazi Germany. I really laugh at how some of my classmates (though we were still children) didn't like Filipino-Chinese but enjoying Jollibee. Well, they had no idea that Jollibee was owned by a Filipino of Chinese descent. Besides, the Yellowtard business Walang Ligo Sardines is also owned by the Tung brothers. You can see the self-contradiction there.
Besides, saying that Xi Jinping didn't land on Philippine soil during the Aquino years is absurd. Besides, Noynoy even had a loan from China which happened to finish an aqueduct project started by Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. I wonder are the members of the Yellowtard People's Army are that stupid to forget that their supremo and chairman, Noynoy, shook hands with Xi and even had a transaction (which I believe might've been paid). President Rodrigo R. Duterte isn't the only one who shook hands with Xi. Noynoy also shook hands with Xi - something even the Yellowtard media verifies to their followers.
At this point, I wonder how Yellowtardism will really fall apart. The misadventure that happened at the West Philippine Sea should be a good start. ABiaS-CBN's latest decision could be viewed to be rather funny. The sinophobic Yellowtards may have even forgotten some of their higher-ups are of Chinese descent or have Chinese ancestry? I'm just going to laugh at what could happen next as ABiaS-CBN collaborates with CNTV.
The rampant 反華思想 in the Philippines is really disheartening. Don´t get me wrong, this is shared almost throughout Asia especially within Koreans and Japanese, but I think the Philippine version of Sinophobia is just pure nuts.
Unlike cosmopolitan-like, polyglot and expatriate na si Orion Perez D. na aware sa nangyayari patungkol sa global issues and history, most Filipinos just wouldn´t bother doing research eh.
Add to the fact that Filipinos are very religious. (Which is also ironic kasi hindi ba komunismo naman talaga ipinag-lalában ninyo?)
