Just when you thought that the "shutdown" of ABiaS-CBN would teach them a lesson. Instead, they decided to really waste a lot of their funds in the most pointless teleserye every namely Ang Probinysano. It was from September 28, 2015, and it's already October 2, 2020. Yes, I highlighted the letters in bold because the show actually defeated the controversial 500+ once-hit teleserye Mula Sa Puso. Now, ABiaS-CBN is forced to go digital after its franchise was revoked. If anything, it was a good move that Noynoy Aquino actually had that feud with Gabby Lopez. Now, ABiaS-CBN is forced to go cable and digital yet the same nonsense of investing their money in producing more POINTLESS episodes of Ang Probinsyano is still going on. Refusing to grow up from being a Bondying network?
I was thinking about how I mentioned that Korean crime dramas beat the 1,100+ episodes of Ang Probinsyano. They should've considered how the K-Drama industry carries on with its crime drama. I find it pointless that ABiaS-CBN did air the Korean crime dramas. Currently, the Kapamilya Channel is airing some Korean crime dramas. ABiaS-CBN had been doing it for years so why can't they LEARN from the foreign shows they aired on how to make things better? They could've have chosen to end Ang Probinysano and start changing the formula. But no, they decided to finally simply say "tuloy ang laban" or "the fight continues" with the most pointless teleserye ever made.
I'm imagining how much money is probably poured into filming Ang Probinsyano. Consider how much they could've had the opportunity to improve by ending the series and starting anew. They could've realized that the show was already spiraling into nowhere and decide to end it. I mean, they did have their weekly teleseryes before such as The Haunted which didn't last as long as their regular teleseryes. they could've taken that for a START. I mean, why not just end Ang Probinsyano and maybe start to learn how to make a weekly teleserye of their choice? Instead, they decided to pour in more money filming more episodes.
ABiaS-CBN isn't shut down by the government. However, it might sooner or later die by its own hand by continuing to invest in this utterly pointless garbage. It really makes me wonder why ABiaS-CBN still finances their most pointless teleserye in the first place.
