Why Free And Quality Education Is Just Another Delusional Communist Fantasy

Demand for free education? I remembered writing an article about the stupidity of wanting everything for free. Sure, children and teenagers don't understand basic business concepts (unless parents decide to TEACH THEM WHY THEY HAVE TO PAY) but what about adults? Above is a picture of ADULTS (and you can notice Sarah Elago of Kayabangan Parylist near Antonio Tinio of Alliance of Not Concerned Teachers) are protesting for free education. Free and quality education for all? Typical Marxist or communist mindset now, isn't it?

Businesses are categorized as profit and non-profit. For businesses to operate, they do still need a PROFIT to keep it going. If there are no revenues then where will businessmen (in general) get the funds to pay for their bills and to improve the businesses. A business may run not intended for profit but there is always the MARKUP price which gives the company its profit. Your net profit is not your day's sales. Rather, your net profit is derived from the gross sales minus all expenses (including taxes) then you get the NET PROFIT. That net profit is used eventually to further improve the businesses even if the said business is not intended for profit. Why do you think charity institutions still do fundraising activities? Charity organizations still need profit if they expect to help more people. Do you think they just get money falling from the sky to improve their facilities and services? They don't solely rely on donations - they too have to learn to make their own money by NOT GIVING AWAY EVERYTHING FOR FREE. The same goes for education - education itself may not be intended for profit but it's STILL A BUSINESS. A business in commerce always involves giving somebody money in exchange for their goods and services. A school is where parents and/or students pay it in exchange for getting an education.

People who subscribe to socialism or communism ignore REALITY. They are asking for the IMPOSSIBLE. If you can't account for the INPUT then you can't account for the OUTPUT. People need money and food to survive. It's just like how greedy businessmen fail to see that it's the preservation of nature that continues giving them money and stuff to spend money on. Wanting free education, higher quality of education as well as higher salaries for teachers is stupid for this reason - where are we going to get the MONEY to pay teachers and to improve the facilities overtime? Money doesn't fall down from the sky. If they say that the taxpayers must pay for free education then how is that "free" to start with? I guess that's why they are against TRAIN law. The TRAIN law lowering taxes for the citizens (especially those in the working class) will eventually decrease funds to support "free education". That means they won't be able to get conveniences such as air conditioner and Wifi at the expense of taxpayers, right?

Besides, why are many Filipinos also uneducated? It's because of unemployment and poverty. Back then before that moron Carlos P. Garcia made his "Filipino First Policy" (better renamed as "Failipino First Policy") - the Philippines was a land of opportunity. China was once very poor and many Chinese migrated to the Philippines for a better life. Now, many Filipinos also end up working as OFWs in China for a better life. Also, free education is nonsense when you start reading the biographies of Filipino billionaires. Lucio Tan started out as a janitor in a tobacco factory to pay for his tuition fee. Also, do they realize that scholarships only mean giving DESERVING STUDENTS a discount but they still have to PAY a certain amount? A discount is not something that's given for free. Rather, a discount is only when you offer less in order to sell a product or when you buy something for less. Then again where's the business sense of people to subscribe to socialism?

Also, that highly educated idiot Raoul Manuel wants to justify habitual absences and walkouts. What he doesn't realize is that when people are educated at the expense of taxpayers - taxpayers should have the right to protest. Manuel trying to justify the walkouts is just stupid. True, they don't owe President Rodrigo R. Duterte the money but they do owe the PEOPLE their money. They are paid to STUDY and not to protest. In my college days, I remembered how I had to deal with groupmates who don't contribute. When I threaten to report them over to the professor - they cry out about how poor they are and that I'm supposedly just a rich snob who hates the poor. I told them that they don't even feel that they're burdening their parents with the fact that they're both POOR AND WASTEFUL. The parents work hard all day and what do these poor and wasteful students do? They don't study. They just skip classes, play Counterstrike at a nearby Internet cafe, and get drunk. Man, I do feel sorry for their parents especially when I see my wealthier peers aim to finish on time. Maybe, that's why they all continued generating wealth - it's because the founder didn't get too engrossed with his or her business and chose to train his heirs on how to maintain the company! I believe one of those values that business-oriented families teach their heirs is not just financial independence but also making sure you finish on time.

Those who promote socialist ideologies actively aren't really nationalists - just power hungry people. If they were consistent then think why are they even using CAPITALIST devices? Just thinking of Elago using an i-Phone X or members of the New People's Army using Apple laptops is a self-contradiction. Not to mention you have those communists promoting economic protectionism with IMPORTED PRODUCTS. Those serve as proof that they don't care if they are walking contradictions - it's all about them, right?

  1. Free and quality education can be obtained everywhere throughout Europe. It exists and is not a Communist myth.
