Want Everything For Free? Then Expect Lower Quality Services And Wage-Free Work!

Socialists, socialists where do I even start? I really think about the number of jokes that enlightened Filipinos have made against Filipino socialist groups such as Kadamay and Anak Ng Bayan. Now it's time to consider the problem of wanting everything free in a welfare state. It could start with something as simple as 4Ps program's government handouts for the poor then it ends up as a welfare state -- either way it's not good for a country to run on such an engine.

Let's talk about basic business principles and facts shall we? Do you know why there's always such a thing as when quality increases that the chances are the cost will increase? It's because businesses need money to survive and to improve their products and/or services. Even charitable institutions still need to make money to expand their work. Why do you think charitable organizations do fund raising projects (ex. yard sales, sell cookies), do volunteer work WITH PAY and every legitimate way to make money? It's because charities don't fund themselves. Both profit and non-profit organizations know that they need money so they can maintain (ex. paying bills all in relation to businesses) and to improve their services (Research and Development expenses for innovation NEVER comes cheap and easy). In short, if you want better services then you must be willing to pay more whenever it's necessary.

Lazy people who demand higher wages and free stuff don't even think that people need money to operate their services. A good example is how production, repairs and construction alone can cost a lot of money. You have to pay people properly, provide them with the right equipment and get the best materials. While looking for lower cost materials is a must but you can't always have it cheap all the time, right? You sometimes get to choose between a low priced cement that's guarantee to fail or a high priced cement that's guaranteed to succeed. While it's good to select affordable materials of good quality but how can businesses afford these materials if they aren't paid for their services or have a reasonable mark-up, right?

This is one thing that those idiot socialists need to be ready to accept. If they don't want to pay then expect nothing but garbage results. You don't need to pay for garbage. If you want to eat fancy food then you need to pay for it. Want to eat for free? Go around and look for food in the garbage cans! As said earlier, businesses need money to maintain and improve their services. Without money how can they survive? How can they maintain and improve their services? At the same time, they need to think of the Confucian principle of not doing to others what you don't want others to do unto them. They are asking people to be their slaves. It should also be the time to ask that whether these idiots will now be willing to work without pay because they are asking for benefits without pay.
