I remembered reading through Get Real Philippines and found a rather interesting entry that says Leni Loud's mouth is her own worst enemy. Just recently, the Manila Bulletin has a report that the current opposition will file charges against President Duterte - as stated by Neri Colmenares. If there's anything worth mentioning right now - both Leni Loud and Neri Colmenares may have their own mouths as their biggest enemies. Isn't it also any surprise that Pignoy Ako Blog (PAB) by Jover Laurio also endorsed Colmenares?
The latest entry makes me laugh at how Colmenares shows himself to be a victim playing egotistical person. How is he playing the victim card? He claims that charges filed against him by the Department of Justice (DOJ) are meant to silence him as a critic of the Duterte Administration. He simply fails to see that the decision of the DOJ has NOTHING to do with the president's decision against him. If it were an act of harassment then why has Maria Ressa for more than once POSTED BAIL and it was even ALLOWED of her? Why aren't the likes of Jim Paredes, Agot Isidro, Frank Baraan IV, and Cynthia Patay arrested for their continued rants against President Duterte? Why aren't those Yellowtard trolls arrested and why are their social media pages still VERY MUCH ALIVE? Why is PAB still online ranting nonsense? More importantly - he is still under DUE PROCESS as the DOJ prepares to investigate and file a case against him.
Let's do a history review of how Colmenares' big mouth may be his worst enemy. How many times has this guy lied through his teeth against foreign investors so he and his kind can empower themselves in the name of "nationalism"? I believe that such offenses should be considered as the crime of exploitation. He prends to care for the poor but his actions say otherwise. Then he also lied that he may have been cheated after he lost the 2019 elections. It's stupid to laugh at Bongbong Marcos for being a crybaby about the vice president electoral protest but praise this man for crying foul about his loss. If Bongbong should move on then shouldn't we tell Colmenares to move on, too? Not to mention, his frequent rants against constitutional reform are all based on the fear of the unknown. This guy is always using fear-mongering tactics which he may have hoped would help him win. Yet from the 2016 to 2019 elections - this guy lost TWICE in a row. Do we even remember who installed Smartmatic or better yet renamed as Dumbmatic into the COMELEC in the first place? How can he demand for fair elections too if manual counting isn't included just to be safe?
I don't think Colmenares can gain sympathy from today's Filipino people like the late Ninoy Aquino did during the Marcos Years. Ninoy's status as a hero may be questionable (and why he's even compared to Antonio Trillanes IV now is LAUGHABLE) but a lot of his speeches made sense. Ninoy spoke of the corruption of the Marcos administration proving in a joke about the Japanese - that you have a president who ROBS you and a first lady who ROBS you more. The Marcos Years were a real dictatorship. President Duterte hasn't even declared nationwide martial law - he only declared CONSTITUTIONALLY DECLARED MARTIAL LAW for Mindanao due to its current situation. Yet, even with martial law declared - elections are still going on and President Duterte has no absolute hold on Mindanao. Marcos' martial law was really undue. Ninoy himself was right about the fact that martial law should've been lifted up but never was. It wasn't because Ninoy was against martial law itself but the unjust declaration of Marcos which has led to countless human rights abuses. Not to mention, economic protectionism reigned supreme during the Marcos years as well. That's why Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. deserves to be buried next near to another hero for protectionism - the late idiot Carlos P. Garcia.
Sometimes, it's better to think that people should just avoid arguing with Colmenares directly. They want to shoot his arguments from afar then do it. Let this idiot speak so men may know him mad. Arguing with him will get you stuck in paikot-ikot (spinning around) land. He's already shot himself at the foot way too many times because of his BIG MOUTH!
