Senator Grace Poe-Llamazares' Call For Action Could've Been Implemented Better Under A Parliamentary System

It's really a pity that Senator Grace Poe-Llamanzares is opposed to the shift to parliamentary system. She has good intentions but does she realize how a parliamentary system works better than a presidential system? I remembered how she actually raised up against Alan Purisima  or when she called for urgent action against Joseph Abaya errr Pabaya . However, these actions take very slow and I wonder has she ever realized that the presidential system is actually VERY SLOW in taking action?  So how would the parliamentary system actually help these call for investigations? You can think of the whole scenario of a parliamentary debate and its set-up. So how would Senator Llamanzares' call for action be done better under a parliamentary set-up? Just imagine this set-up where there's both the Majority Bloc and the Minority Bloc. There would be the senators from both sides -- the majority bloc and the minority bloc. It doesn't matter which side she would be in -- no...

Rappler Isn't Really Independent Journalism After All?

I remembered how I actually wrote my frustration on the Yellowtards and how they love to use their own sources as their only " sources of truth ". It shouldn't be surprising that in their war against anyone who's not Yellow (and remember, President Duterte is NOT the only enemy they have) -- some of the sites they are using even include that super anti-intellectual Pinoy Ako Blog. Maria Ressa getting her award from clueless Western media and her praising Pinoy Ako Blog are not surprising either. Those who want to criticize President Duterte for his mistakes (and yes, he needs it too since he's just human) need to take on neutral sources -- not sources that are under Yellow control! I decided to read through Manila Times before writing this entry. Rigoberto Tiglao now writes a more daring expose  (which will be the source of information for this entry including the pictures of certain parts of the contracts which will be shown) that reveal that Rappler or bet...

#ProudToBeYellow Has Hit A New Level Of #EDSAIsDead

Thirty-five years ago was when Ninoy Aquino got shot at the Manila International Airport and the same location was later renamed into the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. February 22-26 of 1986 became the days when the fateful EDSA Revolution came and one year later became the dawn of the "successful" 1987 Constitution  -- which is marked by the plague of Imperial Manila's dominance over the rest of the Philippines, the popularity-based presidential system continues on and on, and should we mention economic protectionism further empowered crony capitalism more than ever because of the Yellows. It's been 31 years since they promised progress but where is the progress? The celebration and rallies of the Dilawan are really having more flies than people attending them. Ever noticed how popularity is fickle? The majority will never be always in your favor and that's what makes popularity-based democracies unstable. Did you remember how Joseph Estrada was once ...

PNoy Pride Cancelled Useful Projects That Could've Helped The Philippines Out Of Spite

Tomorrow is #NinoyAquinoDay or better yet called as Yellowtard Day. The whole legacy of the Liberal Party has been 30+ years of failure. Not only did they continue crony capitalism but they have also set up the 1987 Constitution -- even to go as far as to say that it's built upon the hundreds of years argument which is unfortunately a fallacy built upon the fear of change . The promised change last 1987 is better said as, "Where is it? Where is the promised progress that you Yellows promised?" Unfortunately, they have set a government ran by the oligarchy because it upholds economic protectionism , the Imperial Manila system helped set up the mindset where being Tagalog automatically meant one was an "expert" of the Philippines  and not to mention the Yellows have also cancelled projects that could have been useful -- thanks to the faulty presidential system! Okay, I'm pretty skeptical and critical on building nuclear energy plants in the Philippines be...

Stephen Sackur May Consider Interviewing Atty. Romulo Macalinlang On BBC HARDtalk

There's a current petition for Atty. Glenn Chong to be featured at BBC HARDtalk  though I think it'd be better if Atty. Romulo Macalintal or better yet renamed as Atty. Romulo Macalinlang will get interviewed next. It's really taxing and funny at the same time to listen to the very idiotic statements of a very stupid lawyer. He can't say that he graduated law at Far Eastern University to say he's not stupid. Stupidity is not always viewed as a lack of IQ -- it can also be linked to one's extreme lack of common sense. Worse, many people may even have graduate degrees and doctorate degrees but they are very stupid because they lack common sense. How can a BBC HARDtalk interview roast Atty. Macalinlang? The claims of how the ballots got wet up to the destroyed ballot boxes are preposterous. How can you wet paper months ago and it still comes back wet? The buildings were also very secure which means that the papers had to be deliberately wet. Another issue worth...

Leni Loud Robredo Should Hear Herself Talk

This is really funny that Leni Loud Robredo should tell President Duterte to work instead of deceiving people. WTF! This should be a very idiotic thing that this loudmouthed woman should tell President Duterte to do his job (when he's doing it) all the while she's actually the one NOT doing her job. If you've been watching the news and reading it -- you will realize that she's got a lot of travel expenses but what were those trips for? While President Duterte is on for diplomacy and business trips -- she has been doing nothing more than what's called as lakwatsa or leisure trips than business trips. It's more than time to consider what in the world is Leni Loud really doing in her days as "Vice President"? She's the one who's been deceiving people with her fake "pang-masa" or "for the masses" image . Right now, she's among those trying to get the Supreme Court of the Philippines to honor the obviously fraudulent 25...

The Parliamentary System's Garbage Disposal

Does this truck look appealing to you? I thought about it that under a parliamentary system -- these guys wouldn't last long. One can imagine of Noynoy Aquino as the deposed prime minister, Franklin Drilon as the deposed House Speaker, Kim Henares as a deposed minister of revenues, Dinky Soliman as the deposed Minister of Social Development, Etta Rosales as the deposed Minister of Human Rights and the others are deposed Senators (no Congressmen) in the parliament. So how does the parliamentary system help get rid of them more efficiently and effectively?  The difference of the framework of the parliamentary system is that there's a two-way discussion between two sides. The government has both the Majority Bloc (actual government) and the Minority Bloc (opposition part of the government) to serve as scrutiny towards each other. You can think of the following cases where Opposition Senators and Shadow Ministers could scrutinize them so they can do a better job. Can you i...

The Big Difference Between Resilience VS. Having Fun During Times Of Calamities

Well it's flood season again and any sane person would take it seriously. But no, some areas of the Philippines have people who now think that " Floods -- It's More Fun in the Philippines " as evidenced by this old picture above. Doesn't it make you want to facedesk? Instead of actually doing something about floods -- there's the attitude of indifference. It almost reminds me of what I heard about how many residents in Pompeii kept IGNORING the signs of Mt. Vesuvius was about erupt until it was too late. Is it me or is natural disaster awareness really that foreign in the Philippines for some time? So how do we define resilience? A definition of resilience means the capacity to recover quickly from difficult situations or toughness. Should we even consider the trait of treating floods indifferently as a time to make merry to be a characteristic of a resilient Filipino? I wouldn't dare say so. This kind of resilience is not resilience nor should it be a...

The Recent Manila Bay Incident Shows Throwing Your Garbage Everywhere Has Serious Consequences

Here's the latest news (which I got from CNN Philippines ) and it's not really pretty, is it? Manila Bay suddenly throws back ALL its garbage at Roxas Boulevard in Imperial Manila. It's not a pretty sight and this reminds me of what some stupid fat bloke said that getting fined for throwing your garbage anywhere is harsh punishment . It's time to ask the question of did the person get tortured for throwing garbage or served jail term or was the person who threw garbage anywhere just merely getting fined? Just looking at that incident inspired me to write this post that should be a warning that throwing your garbage just anywhere is not some harmless habit that you can just ignore. Instead, the whole incident is already a warning of how it has terrible consequences. Some stupid people say that throwing your garbage (which includes human body waste) just anywhere shouldn't harm anyone or if it doesn't affect me then I don't have the right to complain. WTF...

Leni Loud Robredo Shoots Her Own Foot While She Calls For Action VS Fake News

Unbelievable? Well yes it is! You've got Feeling Vice President or better said Fake Vice President Leni Loud Robredo shooting herself at the foot while she calls for action against fake news. Here's an excerpt from the Manila Bulletin concerning her latest call: As she constantly finds herself a target of malicious stories and “fake news,” Vice President Leni Robredo on Friday expressed support to Singapore’s call for action against misinformation and urged the administration to “take concrete steps” to address this problem. Robredo expressed support for Singapore’s call for Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member-states to “follow through on the bloc’s collective commitment to fight misinformation in the region.” She noted that the fight against misinformation is “particularly important for us in the Philippines, as we continue to see fake news proliferate, impairing public discourse and contributing to the spread of false and inaccurate information among ...

Will Kris Aquino's Role In Crazy Rich Asians Raise Her Credibility AMONG FILIPINOS?

Kris Aquino appearing in a Hollywood movie called "Crazy Rich Asians" is something that anti-intellectual blogger Jover Laurio is proud about. Don't believe me? You can read her latest Taglish article where she brags that Kris' part in a Hollywood movie is something to be proud about . Really Jover? Is that really something to be proud of? This also reminds me of how I actually wrote an article that says Filipinos shouldn't even care if Kris goes to Hollywood or not. In Tagalog, I can say it as, "Walang pakialam dapat ang mga Filipino kung pupunta ba si Kris sa Hollywood o hindi!" So what if Kris appears in a Hollywood movie? It doesn't matter anymore of she does for this reason. It seems to be a trend of Filipino Liberals that if they lose their relevance in the Philippines they why not import it from abroad? Is it me or is it really a trend now that the Yellows are actually appealing to foreign affirmation in order to try and get their releva...

Parliamentary System's Competency-Based Leadership Works As Kryptonite Against Squatterman

This is a meme that really fits Joey Lina where he's called "Squatterman". He's saying here, "Let's not shift to federalism because there will be no more squatters." I remembered a couple of times I have written about squatters and one of them was actually how squatters DO NOT contribute to environmental preservation . While I do blame commercialism and reckless industrialization to be a major contributor to environmental destruction but that doesn't mean squatters don't share part of the blame. Let's think about how Yellow politician Congressman Lina or Squatterman would actually survive in a parliament. In a parliamentary, he will have to defend the Lina Law as a senator or member of the parliament. In the parliament -- there's no more Congress. Both the executive and the legislative bodies are merged into one huge Parliament. The Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, respective Ministers of their offices and Senators are all assemb...

Antonio Trillanes IV's "Confidential Trips" To China May Lead Him To The Chinese Death Row

Original picture before its obvious alteration is taken from China Daily/Reuters  It's time to get suspicious about Antonio Trillanes IV's trips to China. As much as I believe China's current government should STOP BULLYING neighboring countries but one has to wonder what in the world is he doing in China? He doesn't look like he's meeting with the Chinese government either. Why in the world are all his trips "confidential"? This would raise some suspicions from this senator on what in the world could he be doing in China whenever he's having confidential trips? Do you remember the PHP 64 Billion worth of shabu from Xiamen in China that landed in Davao City? Could it be possible that he actually secretly orchestrated the Chinese criminal vessels to land in Davao City so he could undermine the current administration? It's just a hunch but I think it may soon make sense or not. Why are these trips confidential again? Any Filipino has the RIG...

Maria Ressa Praising Pinoy Ako Blog As "Good Research And Documentation" Should Make Her Credibility Even More Questionable

Picture courtesy of GRPundit I really have to laugh at the credibility of Maria Ressa for this reason. True, I'm just another person or blogger who's expressing his views on the Internet. However, it doesn't mean that I don't have the right to be heard or express my views just because I could be wrong on several things. Here's the whole thing now. Ressa herself is defending the other Maria -- that is Maria Josephine Laurio of Pinoy Ako Blog. Ressa says that Laurio's blog is supposedly well-researched and well-documented. This has me WTFed considering that Ressa herself is a journalist -- this should be good ground to put her into further scrutiny because how can someone who claims to be a good journalist even praise the anti-intellectualism of Pinoy Ako Blog to be well-researched and well-documented? The very event that Laurio gets praised by Ressa may get the heads of the Yellowtards inflated. Do you remember when Ressa herself was given the Golden Pen of ...

Don't Forget These FAILED Infrastructures Were During The Term Of Former President Noynoy Aquino

I don't care if you support President Duterte or not -- some of you can be critics of President Duterte without being Yellows or supporters of Leni Loud Robredo. However, some of the Yellows claim to #fightdisinformation all the while they are actually spreading it. One of the worst attacks done was when they attributed failed infrastructures done during the time of former president Noynoy Aquino in exchange to the current Build Build Build project. However, I do agree that Build Build Build does need to be scrutinized every step of the way or it could end up like these failed projects.  So what's with trying to discredit President Duterte or anyone who's not Yellow? A good example is that they want to claim the whole second Mactan Airport for themselves -- even if it was a project left unfinished with Noynoy starting it and President Duterte finishing it. You can think of how they want to wipe their dirt on others while claim whatever success they have for themselv...

Yellow Censorship Is Just As Bad (If Not Worse) Than The Marcos Years Censorship

Do you remember the hype that the yellows have when it comes to the Marcos Years? While I don't want to deny that some people were indeed martial law victims but it's time to consider the whole Aquino vs. Marcos rhetoric and why it's just dumb -- it's not just because both Mariano Marcos (father of Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr.) and Benigno Aquino Sr. were collaborators of Imperial Japan but also because of the present. One can't deny the extreme censorship during the Marcos years yet one can't deny the biased, one-sided behavior of the Yellow media or which is called Yellow censorship. In short, it's all about monopolizing the media at the hands of the Yellows whenever, wherever such as the "fact checking" done by Vera Files and Rappler with Facebook -- where it's selective justice. So why are dummy accounts by the Dilawans still stay while dummy accounts that were merely created to protect one's privacy (some people hate the spotlight) are ...

Some Yellowtards Only Want To Debate With Mocha Uson Because They're As STUPID If Not Even MORE STUPID Than Her

If there's any real mistake that President Rodrigo R. Duterte ever did -- it's the appointment of Mocha Uson as Assistant Secretary. Seriously, what does she even know about facts? I don't know if she ever apologized for her mistake of saying that Mt. Mayon was in Naga City (where Leni Loud Robredo lives) but there's one thing that certain -- she's certainly a minister of wrong information. One reason why I don't even follow her page is also the same reason why I don't follow up on Jover Laurio -- both of them are very one-sided and lack delicadeza in the way they do their job. Besides, I noticed how Laurio herself picks on Uson a lot -- and so do a lot of yellows. Why aren't some of these Yellowtards picking or fighting with Uson instead of real strong men and women like Atty. Persida Rueda V. Acosta and Spox Harry Roque? It's because any intelligent opponent will bewilder their lack of intelligence. Unfortunately, Uson is no different than som...

Buwan Ng Wika Is A Massive Business Opportunity

With August -- there's one thing that comes into my head and it's called "Buwan Ng Wika" which means "Month of the language" though I prefer to call it as "Buwan Ng Pilipino" or "Filipino Month". I could remember the school programs where folk dances from various regions of the Philippines, folk songs sang in different dialects and celebrating the wonders of the Filipino culture. The better part IMHO is when various Filipino foods are served with each foreign influence explained like telling us that palabok get its inspiration from Spanish and Chinese or how Filipinos managed to modernize some old-fashioned delicacies. But do you know that buwan ng wika or better yet "Filipino Month" can be a huge business opportunity? You can start with Filipino food tourism  as part of the month-long celebration. American-Chinese Vlogger Mike Chen had such a wonderful time enjoying Filipino food. There can be an explanation behind the his...
